sorry, it worked on my machine. But I also understood how its supposed to work

you can follow the lines to go places

Just go to space stations do missions

Really enjoyed the game, gave up at level 10 but I think this game has potential

found the movement a little hard to follow (don't know if its too fast) but other then that it was a fun game

the spin is a little fast, and needs some form of progression

I'm sort of confused on what to do

Played for a while

Here are my thoughts please keep in mind this is one mans opinion

1.    Orbiting makes aiming hard and picking up power ups more about luck then anything

Ideas I had that might fix this is

Be able to nudge the position of the stations push further forward or back in the orbit

More realistic orbital mechanics (your orbital period is faster the closer you are to the object you are orbiting) this might make aiming easier the further out but give you more chances at shots closer in

2. Had a hard time at aiming the 2 shot variant as well because I didn't know how big the spread was

some crosshairs or the turret facing the correct way might alleviate this

3. I had some issues with the recharge I keep releasing moments too soon and would have to wait a whole orbit to try again.

A cool down timer instead of a warm up timer

A charge meter instead of a warm up timer (shot damage scales)

Or if you really like the mechanic maybe add a perfect release bonus that if your close you still get to take the shot you get a bonus either decreased energy usage or increased damage, but if you release too soon you still get to take a shot

GMTK actually did a video similar about a mechanic similar to this in gears of wars

Fun game thought the boss fight was a little lengthy, liked the upgrading enemies concept though the pacing at first felt sluggish

Fun concept, got the planets realigned and am now off to play some other games

My thoughts

Need some Audio would go a long way, background music, sound effects, clicks on the buttons

I think adding some parallax backgrounds would improve the level scenery

And maybe an explanation I need to crash into the finish line, missed that the first time and had to play the level again

Could not get the game to load either

Fun concept, needs a bit of direction on how the drift mechanic works, and more length, I would have played more if it was longer, did manage to get the win condition

It may just be a Game Jame Game but I thought it was fun

(1 edit)

Yeah

yeah the features got jettesoned the closer to the deadline we got

Fun game, good concept

Fun, felt like some enemies spawned on top of me a few times

Good game, had some issues figuring out the controls

Good game, would have played more if it was longer

Fun game liked the music

Fun game

Fun little building game had an issue with getting the things to build, never made it close to 60 days

This game is right up my ally

probably, it was also 2-3 A.M.

Felt like old Ben Hur.

Think the steering were a little hard, and need a way to reset when you get stuck in a wall

Always my problem with game jams too, things take less time on paper

Enjoyed it, the idea of climbing never occurred to me when thinking of ideas for the jam

Got to the top, liked how having less health (smaller) makes some challenges easier

Always a bigger fish

No problem, been working on an updated version that includes more typical bible trivia questions, God bless

Liked the concept took me a while to figure out how to kill enemies overall fun and challenging, one thing I think could help is if the controller could be a little less slippery

Fun game, every thing I can think of has all ready been said

The game of life was a reference to Conway's Game of Life.

The only casino where the house always loses

the original plan came from the stephen king quote I had over scoped and cut back to something I could manage to make

the original scope got to large i was planni g to have a bunch of random stats borrowing from that stephen king quote on the main menu

the original idea was you were going to have a set of random stats  but the scope got to large and I had to cut back, the original character you get is random there is a tall and short one

CEO after some early morning base jumping

Fun
