Eeveelution art contest official rules

Hey everybody! It’s Joshawott. The creator of the megaman/pokemon fangame, Joshawott: The Power of Eevee. I am making a sequel for this game called, Thompig: Joshawott’s Reeveelution. This sequel will use the eeveelution types that GameFreak has yet to make, such as dragon, steel, poison, etc. but since they don’t exist yet, that’s where I will need help from you guys! That’s right. This is the chance to get YOUR creations in the game. This means when the sequel releases, you might see your own creations for Thompig to fight against as bosses in the game. I will be asking for one type every month, starting in January to give everyone a chance at this rare opportunity. 

Here are the official rules: 

REQUIRED:

1. A full 2D drawing of your eeveelution creation. This can be drawn using whichever drawing software you choose. (Pencil/Pen/Color drawings are acceptable)(NO AI DRAWINGS!!!)
2. A standing pixel sprite of your eeveelution creation. This will be used as a base for me to make its animations.
3. The pokemon type, it’s name and species name(ex. The _____ pokemon), and its evolution method. Make sure it is the same type as the one being asked for the month. (Try to be creative with the evolution method.)
4. Your name/username, you should be the original creator of the art. (People are sensitive about plagiarism!)(I would prefer your real name so I can give proper credit in the credits, but if you want to keep your real name private, your username will be acceptable.)

OPTIONAL:

1. A pokedex entry. Describe it like it would actually exist in a pokemon game. (Get creative!)
2. Other sprites besides the idle one. (Running, Jumping, or Attacking sprites)
3. It’s height and weight.

My first game has finally reached 100 downloads on Itch.io! Thank you all so much for inspiring me to make a sequel. My first game has reached 50/100 downloads on Itch.io so far. To help get you excited for the sequel, here is a teaser of the intro cutscene AND a new mechanic in the game. This will show a bit of story to the game and will introduce the dynamax mechanic. Dynamaxing will make Thompig's moves more powerful against enemies and bosses. But, Thompig isn't the ONLY one that can dynamax! Just 50 more downloads to go before the end of the year and the sequel will be back in production! We're already halfway there! Keep it up, guys!

The bug you mentioned has been patched.

Cool. Can't wait to see it. As a reminder, there is no gamepad integration due to this being my first game ever. (Keyboard only) Controls on keyboard can be adjusted in-game.

My first game has reached 25/100 downloads on Itch.io so far. To help get you excited for the sequel, here is a teaser of a boss fight from in the game. This boss is more unique compared to most of the boss fights in game. But which level do you face it? Well, only 75 more downloads to go before the end of the year! Keep it up, guys!

I used GameMaker Studio to make it. I also used a mega-man like engine to get the game started with it's base mechanics.

(This is my first game I ever made, so I don't know how to make it as a web build or add certain things like gampad integration. Thanks for the advice, though.)

Hey guys, I was thinking about making a sequel to my last game. Before it was taken down on Gamejolt, the first game managed to get 200 downloads. So, I've made my decision! If Joshawott: The Power of Eevee manages to get 100 UNIQUE downloads on itch.io before the end of this year, I will begin working on the sequel that now has a title, Thompig: Joshawott's Reeveelution! In addition, I will also be holding a contest for the fans to get your own eeveelution creations in the game! Make sure to tell your friends about this awesome Mega man/Pokemon game if you want both the sequel and the eeveelution contest to begin!

Yeah! I was inspired by the eeveelutions as bosses like Mega Man as well. It even has pokemon powers that function like Mega man's robot powers.

I like how you made Flareon the hardest of the bosses to defeat. I think they will get their revenge one day.

I like how I made it into the hall of fame three different times.

I want to thank you for trying out my game. Although, I originally designed this game to be played with the keyboard and not a controller. (This was due to the fact that this is my first game I ever made and didn't know how to add gamepad integration.)

Hey everybody! I've had this Mega Man/Pokémon mashup game idea in my head ever since Pokémon X and Y. I've worked on this game for a total of 16 months, and it has finally reached completion. You can download the game right here on itch.io for FREE. In this game, you have to rescue your Tepig friend from the clutches of Team Rocket by defeating all 8 Pokémon Masters, the Eeveelutions, who guard the keys to the base. Who knows?
