Okay. When I say version or build, I mean something like: v.0.3.2
There is major (the zero), minor (the three), and patch (the two). So, if it's still early, you would have no major, at which point it would be set to zero. I think you get the rest. But that's okay, it isn't necessary for me to write a bug report. And the game is fluid, nonetheless.
Title: Resource tooltip disappears after hovering over a card
Environment: Windows 11, Build v.0.2.0, 3440x1440
Severity: Low
Priority: Low
Reproduction Rate: 0% (only occurred once, could not replicate)
Steps to Reproduce:
- Hover over a resource to trigger its tooltip
- Without moving the cursor away, hover over a card on the screen
- Observe the tooltip disappearing expectedly
- Try to hover over the resource again
- Observe the tooltip never reappearing
Expected Result:
The resource tooltip should disappear only when the mouse leaves the resource icon, and reappear when hovered again.
Actual Result:
After hovering over a card while a tooltip was open, the tooltip vanished and could not be triggered again — even after moving the cursor around.
Notes:
- Issue resolved only after refreshing the browser
- Could not reproduce after initial occurrence
Possibly a UI layering or hover state conflict between tooltip and card UI elements.
Low criticality
Title: Tutorial outline stops working when “Again” is clicked too early
Environment: Windows 11, Build v.0.2.0, 3440x1440
Severity: Medium
Priority: Medium
Reproduction Rate: 100%
Steps to Reproduce:
- Start the game and reach the tutorial window where it is teaching about stages (it will work when it outlines anything).
- Click the “Again” button before the outline animation finishes
- Observe the tutorial element no longer outlines anything
Expected Result:
The outline should complete the animation before responding to another “Again” click, or queue the next highlight properly.
Actual Result:
Clicking “Again” early causes the outlining to stop completely. The tutorial no longer shows the intended UI highlights.
Notes:
- Reproducible every time if the button is clicked rapidly

I know it's overkill, but I'm getting my diploma early and want to apply for Naughty Dog as QA and move to Game Design. If you prefer, I will just explain the bug. I am specifically specialized in playing 3D games but will do my best with this. Thank you for the opportunity.
If anyone else has a game, I will help with that one also.
I'll QA! I don't currently have a Discord, though. if you need a QA (Quality Assurance) play tester, send me a link and I'll get started.
Here's a sample of how I document bugs:

Title: Player clips through wall in Room 3 (SE corner)
Environment: Windows 11, Build v0.3.2, Fullscreen, 3440x1440
Severity: Medium
Priority: High
Reproduction Rate: 4/5
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load into Room 3
2. Move to the southeast corner
3. Crouch
4. Hold sprint and walk directly into the wall
Expected Result:
The player should be blocked by the wall and remain inside the room.
Actual Result:
The player clips through the wall and exits the map space.
Notes:
Only happens when sprinting from crouch. Normal walking doesn’t cause it.
Oh, and I recently wrote some lore for a secret project and ended up cutting some great stuff! if you want, I can send some story ideas over.
Just DM me if interested!
Hi! I’m a passionate indie dev working toward becoming a professional game developer, currently focused on Game Design and QA (Quality Assurance).
I’m currently building my portfolio and looking for small or indie projects to help with — specifically:
- Playtesting your game
- Finding bugs and edge case issues
- Writing clear QA-style bug reports with reproduction steps and frequency
I’m not looking for payment — just real-world experience, teamwork, and a chance to support developers while I grow my skills.
Here’s an example of how I document bugs:

I take QA seriously and will treat your project with professionalism and care — no matter how early or small the build is.
I don’t currently use Discord, but I’m happy to communicate here or by download link — whatever works best for you.

Thank you for participating in The Deeper Meaning Jam (Monthly). The winner was The Toast of Time. Which followed the prioritized criteria. Next month will have a new alternative theme. I hope you enjoyed this experience and will come back next month. Until then, have fun creating A Deeper Meaning...
Thank you for getting back to me! You're welcome! You seem to be a beginner close to intermediate. Thank you for thinking about giving the Field Guide a listen. I have used Unity and Unreal Engine 5. I do have Godot but haven't used it yet. Unity is a good, flexible choice. I've never played Dark Souls but have heard great things. I am SO glad you've played LIMBO and INSIDE. To me, they are some of the best games, in my opinion. Are you familiar with Resident Evil 4? Original or Remake.
Great! I will add you as a Judge.
Edit: I will need your Profile URL to add you as a Judge.
Thank you for getting back to me! I believe I will still let voting be an option on this game. Most games don't follow all rules for Jams anyway. Two weeks for this game is good time. On a scale of Beginner, Intermediate, and Professional, which do you think you are? Do you have any experience with 3D game development? And what engine do you use the most? Also, I would highly recommend you listen to "The Game Dev Field Guide" by Zackavelli. You can listen on YouTube or Apple Podcast. He was a great inspiration for me and my game development career.
Three more questions: what is your favorite Video Game? Have you heard of the games LIMBO and INSIDE? And how would you like to be a Judge for the Jam? I see great talent in you. Much more than I see in me.
Thank you and get back to me.
Hi! Thank you for participating in The Deeper Meaning Jam! I am the host. I have a few questions... did you make this during the Jam? Are you aware that you aren't supposed to use any AI? Does it have A deeper Meaning? And how did you manage to make such a great game? Honestly, I can let the AI go. But did you make the whole of the game in the submission period? I need the confirmation. I haven't finished the game yet, but so far, it's good. Thank you and please get back to me.
Sure. Here's my website... https://www.dreamstime.com/illustration/idiot-face.html
