Congratulations and thank you for this break down! I am just starting out on my game development journey and am unsure if I want to be a full time game dev or not. Thank you for making this!

Such a cute game! I wasn't expecting the twist near the end. The emotions were high while playing this game *sniff*. The music was also excellent! Thank you for making this game.

What a wild ride! I writing and art were really good! This is the second project that I have played from you and oh my gosh it's so good! I cannot wait to play more of the games you make!

I loved this zine a lot! The drawings with various media references made it fun and it was hard to pick a favorite because I loved all of them! I cannot wait to see what else you might have for this year.

This game is so sweet and cute! I love the art style and the writing. Thanks for making this!

I absolutely loved your game! The art, the music and the dialogue were fantastic! I can honestly relate to the character in your game. It always feels like there's so many things that I want to do and I have so many ideas but there isn't a lot of time or that the person that is holding me back from creating is myself. This is a short and sweet game that left me wanting more. Thank you for making this!

I loved this story. It was very wholesome - short and sweet. I love the art and animation style as well. I enjoyed this a lot ^^

First, I want to say that I read your post and I want you to know that I completely understand and will continue to support you. Second, I want to say thank you for making this game. It really makes you think about your health, especially when doctor's don't believe you or aren't really listening. All people want is to be understood and acknowledged. Again, thank you for making this game. I know I am only one person but if you ever need anything at all, I will be here. :)

I am unfamiliar with making pixel art and pixel art assets. I was wondering if there were any resources on how to make assets and how to submit our files.

This game is super cute! I loved everything about the game from the art, the music, the guidebook, the gameplay, etc. It was an overload of cuteness. Thanks for making it! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )

This game is super cute! I loved playing it! It's relatable and the ending was super sweet.

( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ ) Thank you for your kind words! I hope to make more zines in the future to improve on zine making and art! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Is any game engine allowed?

This is a lovely zine! And the dish sounds delicious. I loved the layout of your zine and the color scheme. It´s very cozy •ᴗ•

This game is so cute! I love the art style. Thank you for making this!

I tried to join the discord but I believe the link is broken.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I am excited to improve my skills in music and post more songs in the future! :)

I loved all the soundtracks that you made. Especially the 'night in arcade avenue'. The vibes match to something that would be in Persona 5. Jazzy and funky. I also love the cover art! Great job!

My 'techno' pales in comparison to yours. Yours is totally funky which is pretty cool! The track reminds me of Yume Nikki, like you could go through any door and this music would be playing. Good stuff!

I loved this track! Especially with the sound effects that you mentioned. I could definitely see this being in an RPG. It is pretty groovy.

I loved this soundtrack and the cover image that you used for your soundtrack submission. The saxophone was a really nice touch to the music. For some reason, the track reminds me of Persona 5. It has that vibe that it could be used for after school or coffeehouse music. I loved it!

This will be my first time uploading anything on itch, especially something that is not a game, I wanted to know what tags do we use. When we upload, do we file them under game assets or albums and soundtracks?

Oh, that would be helpful! I would like to be given a theme (first time writing an IF).

Is there a theme or is this jam ambiguous?

Can we use any game engine?

I can see how this is spring related so I was excited to play.

Visuals: 3/5 - I loved the details of the bees and the interior of the hive. Besides that, the art style of the flowers and the person at the hat stall did not blend with the worldbuilding very well. I think that maybe a different approach should have been taken with these elements. The dirt roads could be a bit more polished.

Gameplay: 3/5 - The idea of tasks is nice however, if you plan on doing future game development to put this game on the market there has to be a story. Having a bunch of quests does not equate to having a story. I understand that this game is a trial run for the development of that big project however, I wanted to note again that there has to be one main story (something that drives the gameplay) and then consider side quests afterwards. The tasks themselves were not challenging however, they were cute to do. Also, the bee movement is too slow.

Music: 4/5 - The music is nice. I think when talking to NPC's in the game that it would be fun to add an additional track depending on the type of personality that the NPC's have.

Immersiveness: 3/5 - There were a lot of quests and different things going on. As the player, I do like the freedom of choosing whatever task I want to do but I also think there needs to be some order in the way things are delivered.

Originality/Style: 3/5 - I liked the art at all. The basics of the gameplay let me know what type of game it was.

Overall: 3/5

This game was cute. I love fishing games

Visuals: 3/5 - I loved the gameplay page where you are fishing. I also appreciated the animations of everything as well. I wish that there were assets that were spring related.

Gameplay: 4/5 - The gameplay was simple and easy enough to understand. I appreciated that it was communicated clearly by just looking at the game. I also love collecting things so that was a neat surprise to see that I had an aquarium.

Music: 5/5 - I loved the music. It was very fitting.

Immersive: 3/5 - I wanted to know what I caught right after catching it but it would never tell me. I don't know if the sun is blocking the message or if that is a bug.

Originality/Style: 3/5 - I loved the concept and the style is cute. I hope that if there are future developments on this game.

Overall: 3/5

This was a beautiful game. I appreciated the 3D assets.

Visuals: 4/5 - I liked the visuals a lot. I think they were very engaging for me. I wish that there were more aspects included besides the sky changing color. Perhaps a bird flying or a deer in the forest.

Gameplay: 4/5 - I think that the gameplay loop is definitely there. For me, I did not like the increased speed of the world. I think that there could have been other mechanics implemented like the amount of cars or animals you have to avoid. An example being adding a wolf or deer asset and avoid hitting it.

Music: 5/5 - The music was a nice touch. I enjoyed the music a lot.

Immersiveness: 3/5 - I was immersed during the game. I think that along with the gameplay category I stated above that I would have been more engaged.

Originality/Style: 3/5 - The style of the game is what did it for me. I very much enjoyed the style of the game. It is a very clean 3D affect. I wish that different game mechanics were implemented.

Overall: 3/5

**Possible suggestions:

- Once reaching a certain score or collecting points, allow the player to change the color of their car

- Day and night cycle (stars, moon, shooting stars, sun, clouds).

- Obstacles besides cars: deer, tree branch in the middle of the road, wolf, bear, bunny, etc.

The music made me laugh. I love quirky music like that.

Visuals: 3/5 - I do not know if the models of the assets were intended to look like that but they made me laugh. I think the background of the sky and clouds were distracting because it did not match with the world that you made. The sky itself is pretty and the ground, flowers, birds, and bees were something entirely different.

Gameplay: 3/5 - The gameplay was simple. I wish there was more of a challenge to them instead of touching the flowers and avoiding the birds. Something that would be interesting is having flowers that are poisonous and avoid pollinating or being able to use your stinger against the birds. Maybe even adding drops of rain and if you get hit with a drop you move slower. Other mechanics would make this game more engaging.

Music: 4/5 - I loved this music track. It was so silly and I love silly pieces of music in games that make me laugh.

Immersiveness: 2/5 - This really comes from the gameplay mentioned earlier. I wish there was more to the game but the game felt static as time went on.

Originality/Style: 3/5 - The gameplay mechanics are not original however, the style and the way you executed it are. I think this game deserves a job well done.

Overall: 3/5

This was such a cute game!

Visuals: 4/5 - I loved the art style so much. It was very cute and pleasing to the eye. The one thing that I would like adjusted is the color for the 'Bee is Sad' sign. I understand that is to show that the level is over however, I think that it would bring everything together if it was blending with the other elements in the game.

Gameplay: 5/5 - I loved the puzzles and was expecting more every time I completed one. The level design was great and the challenge that each level brought was also great. I am not sure how many levels there were (I stopped at level 5) but I would have liked to see a map or a type of progress bar because this game is not endless.

Music: 5/5 - I was floored and adored the quirky music. It is right up my alley when playing games. Nicely done.

Immersiveness: 4/5 - The only thing was the 'Bee is Sad' sign and the design of the 'Start' wooden block. It did not seem to blend well with the world you made.

Originality/Style: 5/5 - I loved that this was a puzzle and the art style is truly amazing. The level design was perfect and each level was just the right amount of challenging.

Overall: 4/5

The words were a bit difficult to see but I liked the game.

Visuals: 3/5 - The art style of the assets were cute. I also loved the style of the fruits and vegetables as well. I did not particularly like the vertical lines on the background, that was a bit distracting.

Gameplay: 3/5 - The gameplay loop is definitely there. I enjoyed playing. The only thing I wish was that there was more of a challenge or the bunny was allowed to jump if the space bar was allowed. I didn't like how slow the bunny was moving. I wish it were a tad faster.

Music: 3/5 - The music was nice. I wish there was a sound effect when you picked up items.

Immersiveness: 3/5 - I was definitely immersed by trying to win the game. It was agonizing to watch the bunny run so slow though.

Originality/Style: 3/5 - I think the game is original and the level design was well done. The style of the game is cute however, I have to keep in mind that third party assets were used (Nothing wrong with that. I only want to give credit where credit is due).

Overall: 3/5

I see how it is related to spring! Very nice.

Visuals: 4/5 - I loved the art style and the animations. It was very engaging and fun.

Gameplay: 3/5 - I wouldn't say there was any gameplay because there was no challenge to it. After clicking all of the flowers, it was over. I wish that there was a challenging aspect in the game. I also wish that there was a UI system of measuring your progress even if it is a short game.

Music: 3/5 - The music was nice and cheerful.

Immersiveness: 3/5 - After the game was over, the cycle of immersion broke for me.

Originality/Style: 4/5 - I believe that this game is original in style and music. I wish there was more out of the actual gameplay.

Overall: 3/5

This was a good game! I enjoyed playing this!

Visuals: 2/5 - I think the background was good. The planet and the asteroids could use a little work on the pixel art; personally, I would not have a thick black outline but rather have a color similar to the background but enough to distinguish all the elements at play.

Gameplay: 3/5 - This game was fun to play. It was sort of agonizing to wait for 50 coins. I think having the player see what happens at 25 coins and then raising the stakes would be better. I was confused on what to do with the coins for a long period of time until I got to 50 coins. As for the asteroids, I would have liked to see other threats such as an exploding star, aliens, or UFO's. The UI off to the side is a bit distracting. It is a big grey block that kind of makes you not immersed into the game because it is distracting. The size of the text inside the grey blocks are a bit small.

Music: 3/5 - There was music! Not the best music but still music!

Immersiveness: 5/5 - I wanted to see what would happen until the end so I continued to play until I won the game however after you select the option to play again, nothing happens. It was fun to do 2 things at once (i.e. saving the planet and getting spring).

Originality/Style: 4/5 - I think that this game is original. I haven't seen any game like it so far. The style is distinct and not like any other games I have seen.

Overall: 3/5

I see how it is related to spring.

Visuals: 1/5 - I wish that there were different types of flowers rather than the same ones. I think that instead of having a world (although I understand you were relating it to the additional theme), that it was instead a patch of dirt.

Gameplay: 1/5 - The gameplay was simple. I am glad that everything worked. It seemed too easy and quick to play. It would be more challenging if you had 2 or 3 different flowers and 2 of the same flower couldn't bloom next to each other or different stages for growth of the flowers.

Music: 1/5 - There wasn't any music.

Immersiveness: 1/5 - I could not get immersed because the gameplay was easy and not challenging. If there were additional levels or puzzles to get by, it would be more engaging.

Originality: 3/5 - This idea seems original for the jam. As for style, the art style is unique.

Overall: 1/5

Your welcome! I wasn't sure if I was being too harsh however as an aspiring game developer much like yourself, I know that I would want some honest feedback as well. I am excited for what you come up with :)

Okay. I was just wondering. I just think it would bring a community better together if we had a Discord to see each other's progress.

I will have to check out GDevelop because this game is awesome!

Visuals: 3/5 -  The details in the flowers and the butterfly was amazing! It was very cute. I would have preferred the background with more valleys and flowers possibly instead of a plain blue background. I think that instead of having trees where the colliders are at (by the edges of the game) that instead it could be a forest of trees with the trees being smaller inside. I would have preferred to not see a checkered pattern as the 'no entry' zone.

Gameplay: 4/5 - I loved the gameplay! It was very interesting and unique. I wanted to try to get all the flowers but the ones where the robin was at were difficult to pollinate. I really enjoyed the game as well as the explanation at the beginning of the game instead of jumping straight in.

Music: 1/5 - I wish there was music in the game. That would have been a nice touch to add.

Immersiveness: 3/5 - I was focused on winning so I had to play rounds multiple times. I wish there was more of this.

Originality/Style: 5/5 - I loved the originality of this game. It was very fun to play. I also loved the style you choose with doing pixel art. This is based off of personal preference but I love pixel art games.

Overall: 3/5

First of all, I am floored by this game. I know that to others it might be a simple game but I think this has some real potential and I do not play games like this at all. I was confused about how the game related to the theme or spring but remembered the additional theme and laughed when you actually took it quite literal.

Visuals: 4/5 - I loved the customizations that I could do for the planets as well as the elements of earth, black holes, etc. in the actual gameplay. It is very beautiful.

Gameplay: 5/5 - I loved gameplay. It wasn't too easy and it was challenging. I loved the balance of it. At first I was confused on how to "grow" your planet but I realized after a couple rounds of playing that I can absorb the planets smaller than me to increase my score. The mechanics of that reminds me of a  mobile game I used to play. Along with gameplay, I love the special care for the UI. I love being able to choose if I can mute or unmute the music, exploring the shop, and seeing the coins available. The gameplay loop is definitely there.

Music: 5/5 - First of all, you had music! Awesome! Second, it was good music! I was really enjoying it. It fit the game so well.

Originality/Style: 5/5 - I think that this game idea is very original for this jam. I loved the style in all aspects of the game making. It almost makes me see the type of developer you are. I loved everything about this game.

Overall: 4/5; Cannot wait to see more if you choose to do so.

Very much like Flappy Bird but with a twist.

Visuals: 2/5 - I gave this a 2 because I know that the visuals could be a bit better. An example being that the bee's wings, legs, or antenna were animated or the background had clouds passing by. Everything was static which didn't catch my eye.

Gameplay: 2/5 - There was no game over screen or a restart button. You have to clear out of the game and then come back in. Again, this game is much like Flappy Bird so there wasn't any new elements to note.

Music: 1/5 - I wished that there was a spring themed music as background noise or you could have added a variety of bee sounds whenever you collected flowers. I think that would make the game more engaging.

Immersiveness: 1/5 - I knew what I was getting into when I first started the game. For me, I am not the type of person who plays games like Flappy Bird or the like. This isn't against the developer. It's a personal preference. I do think that with a bit of music and animations that it would have engaged me more.

Originality/Style: 1/5 - I liked the visual twists given so it wasn't a direct copy of Flappy Bird however, the gameplay style was too similar to Flappy Bird to consider it being an original.

Overall: 2/5
