really good game jam.
I got stuck against a wall when I enlarged a box too close, trapping me forever in the vampire's castle.

Do you ever do game jams

Great loop. Disgusting setting. I like it!

Amazing intro there

Oh cool.

Yeah I made a pretty big pivot because I couldn't figure out any fun puzzles.  I wish I added mouse aiming before submitting -- it was a 5 minute fix.

Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks for playing.  I added mousing aiming and it feels a lot better.  But it's probably not interesting enough to bother developing much further.

But for the shapes morphing, I made a group scene and a shape scene.  The group tells the shape which shape to be, then I just switch on a 'morphing' sprite 2d and lerp their images with a shader.

very cool tone and presentation.  My turtle became a nasty little beast.

I have created a GOD

Dan, Rodger, may I have a moment with you in my 'office'.

Bae crushed me!

Really cool game. There is a lot to do. I like breeding.

I just did a LOT of cleaning.

Amazing presentation.

I felt like I could see the plan and then execute it.  Great puzzle game!

I almost figured out what to do.  I like bouncing around in the squares, and trying to figure out what square to land in to become a gold turtle.  It was a bit tough to know what's the right move though

(1 edit)

I enjoyed using all 4 of the abilities at once. However on the web build when I held shift and right click it kept popping up a Save Image As window.

Good, strange game though -- it's like the Brave little Toaster

It's hilarious  to jump and land in the splits. I farmed the heck outta the woods until I turned into a warewolf.  This is a pretty good game!

Yeah that mutant is pretty freaky!  It's a very strange universe -- office turtles and aggressive mutants scattered around the building.  I'd like to know more!

My boy Chester was a speed demon by the end

There is lots of personality in this game.

Solid game jam entry. Quirky and funny.

I also didn't figure this out!

hehe this is Radical.

Hilarious character design. I loved beating up those smug scientists.

Lovely presentation. Fun puzzle platforming.  Nice work.

Pretty fun fps platforming and decent level design.  Good job.

smooth and fun progression with a cute cat paws.  I killed too many turtles with toxic cubes!

Wow! Great graphics

Also Wow! I beat it.

This is a great jam game.

That's fun. I like helicoptering everything

Solid game.

Left hand/right hand was the least I could do, consider there was no mouse aiming.

Yeah I think with a few tweaks this game could be a lot better.

Thanks for playing

Yeah that was a fun and simple game. Classic loop. Silly turtles. I liked it

This is a fun game!

I like the combat system a lot.

The moving of the cards and interfacing with the hands could be improved, but this is a really good game loop.

Aiming will be the first improvement if I continue to work on it.

Yeah as far as the content goes, it's pretty much the same gameplay just with slightly different tilemaps, so making one level was almost as easy as making 8 or 20 if I felt like there was a reason to.  It was hard to even justify 8 TBH. I cut it down from 12.

EEWW! I didn't like being crushed by a mutant turtle house!  haha great horror game.

Very solid loop.  I'd like more choices on what or how to mutate. Excellent credits haha

Great art.

Yeah it’s like a game out of the 80s.
as soon as the jam play period ends I’ll add mouse aiming  then try to make complimentary mechanics to emphasize and promote the shooting

having a base of followers that spawn on a ticking cooldown sounds like a good idea, and could also be a thing to upgrade.

Yeah the game started out as a puzzle genre but I spent a few days failing to make any compelling puzzles haha so I switched to shooting.

I’d love to hear more ideas. Or maybe I’ll just put that in and mouse aiming then ask you to play again.

thanks for playing. Yeah I think it has potential. I need to improve and expand on the shooting experience and have everything sort of aid that instead of go against it

Interesting start to a game.  Good effort on the UI

This is pretty good. There are lots of crops, each with their own growing style, which adds a lot of personality to them surprisingly.

Excellent art. You made a great little world here.  Very well done jam entry.
