Thank you. That's a great idea. You could even go further and say that if submitters rate less than say 80% of others' games, theirs will be removed!

I don't understand how one game can get rated by 17 people (and wins easily) while the average across all games is 6 people per game. This equates to around 10 people rating one game only and ignoring all the others. I've seen this happen before. Seems very odd. Does anyone have a reasonable explanation?

Indeed! It's something I often try to do. Take a function of PowerPoint, e.g. mouse over hyperlinks, and make a game with it. The other Alien game here uses 'Repeat: Until next click'

Did you see the clue?

Thank you very much for the feedback. Glad I made you jump! At first, it doesn't seem like it fits with the Sci-fi theme, but it does as the story develops.

Great graphics and story - and a challenge to complete!

Excellent! Atmospheric and engaging, with superb graphics. Look forward to Chapter 2 - and the rest!

Much too fast for me to complete, so I just left my cursor in the middle of the screen and enjoyed the graphics and the brilliant synchronisation with the music.

Thanks for the feedback. Fonts now embedded.

I enjoyed playing this. The graphics and sounds were great, the tasks were not too difficult and it was refreshing to not have a 'Game Over' if a mistake was made.

My only gripe is a personal one about PowerPoint games having a 'Loading' bar when nothing is actually loading - but that's just me!

You have made great progress with this since the last Jam. Well done! The 'Up & Down' squares for the ranger maze were a little too fast for me, so I stopped there after quite a few failures! Hope I didn't miss too much.

Is there a reason why you didn't / couldn't embed the font so it would not have to be downloaded? Just in case you are unaware, you can usually embed it via: File > Options > Save > Check 'Embed fonts in the file' (at the bottom of the box).

Ah ha! Thank you. That worked!

No. I get this far, then just the white rectangle if I click anywhere.

I downloaded and opened but could not get past 'Enter:' What should I do please?

I downloaded the file, unzipped it, and clicked on the PPSX file. The running man image appeared, but nothing would happen after this - what am I doing wrong please - anyone?

Thanks for the explanations. It was the 'Selecting Random Level' slide I was referring to. I guessed that there would be some kind of moving transparent links, but I haven't come across them to work on mouse over before.

PS - MasterMind is now available on the forum (which will also use 'randomiser' links in the final version)

This is a fabulous game! I made a You Tube tutorial on making 'card flip' memory game, but you seem to have taken the approach to a new level.

I have just two minor issues. The first is the length of 'loading' time (and is anything actually loading?) The second is the amount of time given to complete each level. It's probably my poor memory but I couldn't get beyond three matches before the sun went down. I would love to see the PPTX version to see what's happening behind the scenes.

PS - Further to your comment on my Virus game, I have since made 'Mastermind'. I will be putting a preview version of it on the forum I co-admin soon. PowerPoint Creative

Thank you very much for your feedback. I might make some more levels for more challenges. Regarding your rating for 'Theme', aren't viruses a part of nature?! :-)

Thank you very much for the feedback, especially regarding level 2. I think I'll keep the indicator for more levels but increase the difficulty slightly by either another row of chemicals, or shorter completion time (which would be easier to produce). I have tried making Mastermind before, but it is very difficult. I might be tempted to try again now!

No problem.  Looking forward to playing.

Should there be a PPTX or PPSX file to view / download?
