This is absolutely lovely. Thank you so much for building this beautiful interface. Keep up the great work!

You have permission of Joshua Jenney from jenneygames.com for the DOSROCKS  executable and source code to be included in your ISO image for the DOS Game Jam. Best wishes and thank you!

Thank you! I really love making music. Thanks for being patient while figuring out how to escape the room. It is definitely a puzzle, which is why the room is very small. I'm glad Celeste is a good communicator too. She is really good at letting me know that she wants me, more petting, some treats or escape! :D

Your survival space exploration was a inspiring onelua entry for this gamejam! I like the navigation through space from one planet to another, and the mini-map really helped. Although the counters were confusing, I really like the possibilities of this type of game. Great job!

I like how well you developed your platformer game using the gamemaker engine. It runs very smooth with fluidity. Your creativity in the level art style and story dialogs really make your story shine. You created a game that fits perfectly for this year's gamejam theme and should be presented as the best. Thank you for creating a fun and memorable PSP game! May more PSP homebrew games be developed with the same polish and love like yours.

Your game reminds me of the raycasting seen in Wolfenstein 3D. The mini-map was an excellent choice as a visual aid. It makes your gameplay something like a puzzle too. Thank you for making and sharing your game!

I love playing your simulator! The view controls like a SNES mode 7 with rotation. Your terrain generation as you migrated from your spawn point was so cool to see on a PSP. Thanks for making a such a beautiful game!

I really fell in love with your game. I've been a sucker for classic arcade games. When the game was interrupted and switched to another game, I was hooked!! Thanks for keeping me on my toes and jammin' the classics. :D

Your 3D platformer was a lot of fun. Your bug catching with a timer was a great combination. I was surprised that I could jump (and onto the platforms, no less!) and run around. Great job making this game!

It is not everyday that an turned-based strategy isomorphic game shows up for a PSP. [What?! Really?!] Very cool dude! It is really good to see these kind of games being developed. Great job wielding the Stardust engine by IridescentRose.

Your 3D minesweeper game using a nasa rover with intermittent signal loss is so cool! You have a great soundtrack and sound effects. I played your game several times since last week. Thanks for making such a fun game for this gamejam!

I really enjoyed your gamemaker platformer! Using the in-game pause and object clipping (+ combinations) made this kind of game clever and inspiring!

Your game has the best subtle graphics for this game jam; boxing/unboxing, box drops, box cart movement, ect. It results in a very smooth and fluid gameplay. Although this appears like a snake arcade game, it feels more like a puzzle and strategy game. This is a freshening unique mix! Nicely done!

I kept telling myself, "I'm not colorblind. I am NOT colorblind. I can see the color. You can do it..." My high score of 8 does not inspire confidence. (My day job include color calibration for paper prints, monitors, dvd disc labels, ect.) I ran this through my OLED-modded PSP 1000 -AND- PPSSPP. Sir, I hate your game, and I keep coming back. Grrr. I blame you completely. >:_D (Thanks for making this fun game!)

I like your atari-style arcade game: blocky, solid colors and straightforward gameplay.

I enjoyed the dialogs and exploration in your adventure game. Using the gen7 engine game for loading your 3D models for actors and levels was great to see. It really showed off your creativity! The unexpected game type switching on the player was very clever!

I started playing trying to figure out how to move the paddle left and right when the game started playing itself. I was like, whhaaaat? When a hand panned from the left with a control to smack the TV set to restore color, I laughed pretty hard. Your game simulator was cleverly done, esp when the "paddle/ball glitch" kicked in. I have never had such a high score before! You did a great job developing a fun game and excellent expression of restart/glitch theme for this gamejam.

Great job using the IridescentRose's quickgame routine! Your arcade game has a great music and was a lot of fun to play! I have never seen a pong + network packet twist before, so that was a fun surprise to discover while playing. I didn't make a double-digit high score, but I'll be playing more of your game even after the jam.

You did a great job creating your game that can run on the PSP as a java midlet and running it via PSPKVM, making your entry is unique and special. You choose a plucky eye-catching title that is hard to miss and ignore. Nicely done!

Thank you! The work behind this game using the EasyRPG game engine was very difficult. Many functions and implementations were not yet added. I spent some time cataloging which features were functional, faulty or unavailable. I tested the features (and game debugging) using PPSSPP and my PSP 1000.

I love composing music, and write the melodies as part journaling (life events) and (without words, yet a distinct dialect) a conversation with God. This was written using FL Studio and Z3ta+ VST plug-in. You can listen to more of these at http://orbital-dreams.com

Thank you! It was a lot of fun working on the game. Celeste has a lot to say about her items; try interacting with them more than once. ;)

Her majesty's photograph was real, but the red throne chair was a composite of another photograph using GIMP. I had a lot of fun taking pictures, and this one was the most dynamic.

Thank you again!

Thank you! My wife and I created a game that was cute because there are many people who love cats. We also love cats, so it was easy for this project to gain momentum during its development. What would a cat do if left in a room by itself? What conversations would it think aloud? What art or music should we create to convey this cat's adventure? It was a lot of fun working on the story and game assets. Thanks for your comment!

The game engine has a hardcoded absolute location, and the menu does crash when the engine/assets are not available/wrong location. (ie: timidity midi instruments, database, map files, title screen images, ect.)

The easyrpg engine requires the game in ms0.

Inside the ZIP file "Kitty Must Escape > PSP > GAME" there is the folder "easyrpg" . Move that folder to your /PSP/GAME directory.

Hardware PSP ms0:/PSP/GAME/easyrpg

Place a copy of the game in the PPSSPP's game directory for ms0.

PPSSPP in Windows %USERPROFILE%/Documents/PPSSPP/PSP/GAME/easyrpg

PPSSPP on Linux ~/.config/ppsspp/psp/game/easyrpg
