Ooo, this is a nice vibe. Crystal clear vocals, super chill beat, with a really nice slow build. Really pretty melody, it shines especially well against the atmospheric instrumental. Short and sweet (though I wouldn't have minded if it were twice as long lol). Just really pleasant. Makes me want to mess around with Stardust for a song, really good showcase of her voicebank. Excellent song.

Really cool beat, the rhythms are so good, like others mentioned, the heartbeat word-painting is a nice touch, and the kinda, ticking clock sounds before the last verse. Lots of really intricate cool little details actually. And the lyrics! Very poetic, very tragic, in that special little way where if you just listen to the melody, it sounds a lot less sad than when you dig deeper into the words. Love that, love this song. Excellent work.
Vibing with this, got me raving out at my desk lol. Beat goes hard, this is going in my firespinning playlist for sure. The vocals are really nice, I like the layering and little effects throughout. Good lyrics, simple, but good. Crazy danceable track, listening to it again and it does have me wanting to go out clubbing. Well-done, absolute banger.
Fun song! Boppy instrumental, love that oldschool dance pop flavor. The melody's nice, meshes with the beat well. If I had to offer any critique, I think I'd second Alex in suggesting adjusting the EQ a bit, at least for my media player the gain overall seems really high and loud. But that's a small thing, and I'd say it's better to err on the side of too loud than too quiet. All in all, really good job, it's groovy!
Love this!! Really well-produced, well-mixed instrumental, seconding what Alex said, very classic Vocaloid sound, deeply nostalgic. Feels really high quality, exceptional composition and arranging, absolute gem of a track. I like that the instrumental features a lot of breathing room between the verses, really solid pacing. Overall, this is excellent, wonderful song.

Real groovy vibe, love synthwave, this scratches a really good itch. The instrumental is cool, nice leads and pads, and the drums cook up a ton of energy. Floaty vocals over the top bring it all together nicely, and the lyrics are simple but evocative. First time hearing anything from Voisona, but this voice is really well-suited to the genre. In terms of critique, I think the sound is maybe a little thin at times? A bit of a punchier bass and maybe some wider panning would really make this sing, I think. I really like it, though!! Great song, well-done!
Oh, WOW! I wouldn't have ever expected something this purely operatic from SynthV's vocals, legitimately jawdropping, this is really really cool. As someone with a background primarily in classical music, the vocal tone is spot-on dramatic soprano, very skillful vibrato control, and the choir adds so much. The instrumental is fantastic as well, reminiscent of a lot of my favorite symphonic metal bands, especially love the harpsichord. Just overall a really cool song,
Great song! Really upbeat and dancey, very fun, and a wonderful subject for the lyrics. I like how shimmery the chords are, really good synth texture. Vocal melody feels kinda 80s pop? Which is a really fun vibe, makes me think of Bonnie Tyler or Cyndi Lauper, a little bit. Very nice song, well-done!
Grooving hard to this beat!! Instrumental goes so hard, lots of little bits happening all at once, makes for a great second or third listen to catch all the little details. The walking bass is super cool, love the horns, and the drums really make it! The vocals are nice, kinda floaty and light over the beat which gives it a good contrast. I think my only critiques are that I wish the horns were a little louder in the mix, and the ending is so abrupt, it leaves me wanting so much more closure lol (unless that's what you were going for, in which case, well done). Overall, very fun song, super-catchy!
Really nice song!! I like the little interplay between the voices, the "え、泣かないで!" bit was fun lol. The instrumental is nice too, nice arpeggios and pads, crisp drums that do exactly what they need to. Overall, really tight arrangement, it's fairly simple, but it sounds really good and lets the lyrics shine. Good work!
Great song!! Really like the instrumental, the guitars are kinda washy in a nice way, really saturates the sound, good punchy drums. It's a little heavy/dense on the mids in the mix, but I don't think that's a bad thing at all for this genre/style, though maybe the bass could come up a little more, to bring out a little more fullness. Love the lyrics, I'm a sucker for this kind of wistful reflective storytelling. Really cool song, especially for your first finished original! Keep it up!!
Really cool!!! Great lyrics, feels really universally relatable, something we all experience every now and again. Love the chiptune instrumental, adds a nice nostalgic feel, and really complements Milk's voice. (First time hearing Milk, fun pick, I'll have to check out some more stuff with them.) Overall, nice song!
Really pretty instrumental! You really nailed the jazz ballad style you were going for, this takes me back to playing ritzy gala gigs and jazz nights at the local dive bar in college. The tone on the saxophone especially is really nice. Silky vocals, perfect for this vibe. And kudos for doing a song in a language you're learning!! I don't know enough Japanese to comment much on the lyrics as poetry, but they sound good to my ears, melodically! Really nice song.
Incredible song, kinda floored by this one. Powerful lyrics, the instrumental takes them even further, with the real frantic chugging rhythms in the verse, into the calmer, lighter, chorus. LOVE the way the breakdown and last chorus bring the Ukrainian and Japanese lyrics together. And the harsh vocals in the breakdown! That's so cool, I've gotta figure out how to do that in SynthV. Overall, amazing song.
Really nice!! The instrumental has a nice groove, really straightforward drums that complement the guitars and synths/keys. Really like the choice of guitar tone for the solo around the 3 minute mark, wondering what VST that is. Not super-familiar with the UTAU version of Teto, and this is my first time hearing Momone, but I really like the vocals, the bit around the 1 minute mark where she gets really high-register is downright ethereal, I like that sound a lot. It does seem like the endings of a lot of the words in the lower-register bits are kinda buzzy? But I'm not sure if that's a tuning thing, or just what the voicebank sounds like. Either way, I really like this song, well-done!
Beautiful, really beautiful. Powerful vocals, and the instrumental is simple, but does a lot to propel the song forward and uplift the lyrical center. Really hits its stride around the 3 minute mark, when the kick and snare come in, and then everything just falls away for that last "I am not broken." The time signature is fun, I like working in 12/8 myself, you used it well to get a really, kinda contemplative, like walking down a long hallway, step by step. Very impressive you got all this done so fast too! Nice job!
This is really nice, the soft voice over the like, kinda shoegazy instrumental, is super cool. I feel like I'd hear this from an indie rock band at an underground bar in the 90s or something lol, fun vibe. Have never heard Anri in a song before, learning lots of cool new voices from this Jam. My only critique is that the mix does sound a bit quiet, overall, but otherwise, it's really nice!! Excellent work.
Really gorgeous melodic writing, the simplicity of the piano and strings bring out a lot of nice emotional layers. At times, the instrumental kinda reminded me of some old GBA/early NDS soundtracks, really nice nostalgic quality that pairs very well with the bittersweet wistfulness of the lyrics. The harmonies are also really rich and full. The only thing that catches my ear as far as critique is that I feel the different layers could be panned and EQ'd a little more, I think a bit wider sound would help everything resonate, especially in the more emotionally-intense moments, where every part is doing something interesting and exciting. But otherwise, a wonderful song. Very nice work.
Really fun song!! I'm a big barbershop nerd, so this speaks right to my heart. Also crazy to me that you did this with four whole different vocal synth softwares!! I like the voicebanks you used, Kaito's the only one I'm at all familiar with, but they each sound really distinct, and blend nicely. Lovely harmonies too, this was a treat to hear.
Really good!! I like all the little robotic bleeps and bloops in the beat, and the FX, really creative. Seconding Umantrel's review, I do wish Rei was a little louder, mostly in the verses. (I totally get not having time to get the mixing perfect, I'm in the same boat lol) Really good song, though, it's the first Adachi Rei song I think I've heard. Really good voice combo with Teto.
Really really cool!! LOVE the outro instrumental, really pretty piano writing. The beat, in general, is catchy, very danceable. I don't think I've heard a song with Mai before, but I think I'm going to check out some other stuff with her now, the voice sounds really nice. I do also really like the lyrics! Very poignant and tragic. If you do continue working on this after the Jam, I'd be excited to hear how much better you could do with even more time, it's already great!
Hi! Hoping to find a lyricist to collaborate with, I plan on handling the composing/production and vocalsynth aspects myself, but struggle with lyrics, in general. My personal challenge to myself for this jam is learning how to tune Teto to sing in Ukrainian, so ideally would like to team up with a Ukrainian-speaking lyricist! If not, a lyricist and a translator could also work, if anyone has experience with song translating (an artform I am always impressed by, good lyric translation is such a cool skillset).
Collab with an artist would also be fun!
I am also open to doing some instrumental work for anyone looking for that, I work in a pretty broad range of styles, and have about 14 years working with FL Studio, and 5 years of music school, under my belt.
My Discord is the same as my username here, Jayfuror! Excited to collab!
