Real groovy vibe, love synthwave, this scratches a really good itch. The instrumental is cool, nice leads and pads, and the drums cook up a ton of energy. Floaty vocals over the top bring it all together nicely, and the lyrics are simple but evocative. First time hearing anything from Voisona, but this voice is really well-suited to the genre. In terms of critique, I think the sound is maybe a little thin at times? A bit of a punchier bass and maybe some wider panning would really make this sing, I think. I really like it, though!! Great song, well-done!

thanks for the comment!

funny enough, i did have a bassline written for the song. it sounds okay when i was composing it in mobile, but when i tried to mix it on pc, it sounded so bland and distracting to the general composition thus i opted to discard it. unfortunately, due to time constraints, i wasnt about to write a new bassline, so i just kinda salvaged the lower frequencies of the synth pads and mixed it as the central bass. there's some "oomph" but still lacking in "growls" if that makes sense. when i polish this track further after the event, i'll try to cook up a new bassline

as for the thin, i may realize why that is. usually i like to do mid/side eq on the center pan by making the instrumental quieter only on the center so there's space for the vocals to clearly be heard. however, i failed to realize in time that, since my song is mostly synth holds with minimal vocals, this meant scooping the center resulted in most of the song having thin center. this is something i have to consider when polishing the track further.

once again, i appreciate your input!
