Thanks for playing! And yes, based loosely around Narcissus.

Yeah, I didn't think to add an instruction to explain the controls until really late and I ended up being pressed for time so I scrapped any idea for a better solution. I also agree with the visuals in the water! I thought about adding some hanging underwater flora just to add a bit more life and some points of reference, but I ended up not liking my initial ideas.

Thanks for the feedback and I appreciate the kind words!

That was cool! I really liked the concept and I want to see it taken further. I really like the idea of using death as a mechanic that ultimately progresses you and I never thought to use it for platforming.

Good job!

Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to play.

Thank you for your comment! I'm very happy to hear that you found the sound design effective and the pixel art to be cute.

I appreciate you taking the time to play.

I'm glad you found it so atmospheric. Atmosphere is what I strive for the most in my games and sometimes you can't tell if it works until someone else lets you know.

Thank you for playing!

Yeah, I'm super glad I ended up going for something a bit more subtle.

Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much. I'm elated to hear that!

Thank you so much!

Yeah, the gradient was a concern for me too. I tried to make it just subtle enough to tell where the lure is, but in retrospect, not everyone has the same display/color configuration as me, so it could be more difficult for people to see its relative position.

I appreciate the play and the feedback!

Fun stuff! I really liked the title's name and font, as well as the colors used.  It's really charming.

I've always enjoyed the simultaneous controls concept and yours was no exception.

Good job!

I GOT SO HYPED WHEN I SAW THIS WAS A SHOOT 'EM UP.

Super fun! Great concept, easy to master controls... a very welcome and enjoyable UX design.

Great job! Good music too!

Fun stuff!

I liked the really relaxing music. It felt really nice to have a super low-stakes coloring game that just felt super chill.

I think if there were some more complicated pictures that maybe rotated randomly, this could be super addicting to play.

Good job!

What a super neat idea. I found myself going for neat little trickshots and I found the bullet reflection mechanic to be super versatile when it comes to strategy.
Plus the name just sounds super cool... "Infectobots".

Great job!

I really enjoyed this one! The story illustrations are wonderful. The gameplay felt unique and the music complimented the theme very well.

Great job!

This game was hilarious.

Totally blew my expectations out the water.

PS - Was SAW the only inspiration? I feel like a lot of these jokes resonate with a certain online personality I know...

Great game!

Appreciate it! Thanks for playing.

Thanks, CURTY!

That is exceptionally kind. Thank you so much!

I figured! That's some A+ effort, friend.

Thanks, mouse!

What a neat and challenging game! You definitely had me stumped a few times.  Very crisp visuals and excellent sound design. Good work!

I appreciate you taking the time to play!

Thanks for playing!

Insanely cool mechanic. Y'all struck a nearly perfect balance of finesse and problem-solving skills required to beat the game.

Always love Gameboy-esque graphics-- it complimented the addicting gameplay.

Great track choice as well!

Great job!

I am in love with that character design. So simple, yet sharp. The emotional state rotation mechanic was super cool and kept me on my toes!

Effective music and level design as well.

Great job!

Super fun concept! I really enjoyed the zany and whimisical music and character.

I had fun jumping around and mastering the level. It made me want to use Unity again!

Good job!

WOW! This game made me feel so smart then SO dumb. Just when I thought I had conquered the mechanic you throw in the reverse enemies, haha.

Each puzzle had so much personality and utility. I never thought you were challenging me more than once on the same idea.

Sound design is great. Like really great. Every cat meow and every sound from each input gives the game so much personality. The music was also a wonderful touch. It was reminiscent of a Link's Awakening dungeon with a lo-fi/ethereal twist which complimented everything so well.

Visuals are exactly what they needed to be. Cute, distinct, and fitting. The CRT filter paired very well with the music.

Great game!

P.S. - I'm very excited to play Elasticat! :)

Thank you for the incredibly kind words! I'm absolutely ecstatic to hear you find it inspiring.
