Very engaging and descriptive game, i'm surprised the greenskins haven't turned on me yet... I think I will avoid the beast (like the behemoth) for now, they seem destructive lol.

Hello, are they free for commercial use or CC0? They look really cool!

I really like the sound, the background sound of game is very good, would be funny if you add quick distant footsteps that play at random intervals to make players extra paranoid. The visuals are pretty good, the flashlight is actually helpful (some horror games make flashlights far too weak), and nothing feels out of place in this game.  When a creature gets within range to a player, you could add growls or more "feedback" to make the actual creatures a bit more scary (or something as small as a slight screenshake on death).

The only improvements I'd suggest are maybe more objects/furniture, like a few old pictures hung up on the wall (or to fit the horror theme, evidence from previous victims, like shoes in certain areas), since after running from the creatures, I often had to double check/ask myself "was I just here".  It's kinda funny having a  determined creature, sitting on a toilet, chase you down to a deadend lol.

Only weird thing I came across was a purple/pink cube chasing me, I believe it was when I took the path to the right or something (but my 2012 laptop is slow, so could be the cause). Overall you did well,  sadly, I couldn't find the headset though (about 20 attempts, I suck at horror games ).

Thank you so much for playing Space brawlers and your time, was in  great need for feedback!
Planning to add a multi-player mode + flamethrower weilding class within the next 2-4 few weeks.
Will head on to your game + rate it, thanks again!

The music choice fits the game and its pace very well, not too hype if that makes sense, but calming and does its job as  background music very well.

I think you should try improve this game by adding jump sfx so it is more engaging, and make use of more sfx  to bring the game to life more (like maybe a quick 1 sec death sfx when falling in the lava, quiet movement/footsteps, etc).  You did a good job when the character shoots those fiery projectiles, and the sound of it makes it sound like an energy blaster (the only thing I will say is maybe add a rotation to them, but they are great like that). On the other hand,  the camera movement always remains on the character looks pretty smooth, the background is pretty nice, but it lacks movement to bring it into life (examples, maybe add a flying crow that appears every so often,  make it look like the character is breathing,  slight dust particles when jump/walking, or even something like a "glowing" moon may fix this,  a falling star? idk, but obj tweens are great for movement/life ).

Easy to understand the controls, good music,  and I can easily see a lot of improvements happening with a few minor changes. Keep it up!

Haha, that's okay, just double checking, did you read the "how to play" in the game's description? I'm wondering if I may need to clarify/imrove the instructions, but basically if you use the mercenary class, you can hold down "right click" (aimbot) on enemies, and you gotta head to the center point (control point, it is a King of the Hill type of game).

I will check out + rate your game btw, and will improve  Space Brawlers instructions if needed!

The sound and audio are fantastic, and the fast-paced gameplay with simple controls keeps me hooked, eager to beat all the levels. However, the visuals are the weakest aspect of the game—for example, the text uses a plain font and single color (consider making the energy text yellow and the health text green/red, like color coding I believe this is called), and the background feels a bit empty. Adding more cover or obstacles like bushes, ammo crates, or other elements could make it more engaging. Overall, great job, and the wire alignment definitely contributes to the fun!

Looking for feedback on my Game Space Brawlers, like which of the 4 unlocked characters are balanced/need tweaks, new possible modes, what you found difficult to understand, what you liked, what you found easy to understand, etc.

Reach wave 3+ (6 minutes) for a free weapon!!

Lol, yeah it does not seem like a game that would have a multiplayer.

On the downside, I need to pay $5 a month, and while I'm fine with that, it's unfortunate that I've only seen about 3-4 people in the lobbies before. This lack of players could be due to my lack of experience in attracting others to the game; I'm thinking social media might help, although I'm just starting to use it.

On the positive side, if this game were to attract even 1,000 players, it could become a bit overwhelming at first (only 17, so balancing the game with school could be tricky at first).

VIB Mode is now set up. Give it a try!

Lol, yeah, the critical hits on balloons made me laugh when making it too, same for stunning them (with the slowleak weapon).
Thank you so much for leaving feedback and trying it out! I believe I will be releasing a major halloween update Oct 24th, which will slightly have more progression (like over 7 weapons), and new game modes.

For sure, I will spend at least 20 minutes on it b4 i make the rating too!

I really like how it is quick to action, and the art/graphic style is pretty impressive!
The game took me sometime to understand though, especially the jump button (never knew it has a cooldown, maybe you could add the 5sec countdown timer text on top of the jump key, with a slight decrease to the jump arrow's opacity to avoid obscuring the text).

Only other things are the slugs (pickups) are a bit small, maybe you could make them slowly flash or increase their size, not a problem after you played the game a couple times, but took me a while to find out that they basically lie there for me to retreive them after a shot.

The jump is pretty fun to use, especially when dodging projectiles, and I like how you gotta retrieve slugs, which means you gotta manage ammo (slugs) and punishes spaming, adding extra depth to the game. Great that they surround you to make it more challenging. You could improve it by adding control key icons (with a white text to stand out) on the Slug icons, bottom right corner (this way you know which keys are needed to fire each slug, making combos easier).
Hope this helps and was detailed!

Thank you so much for giving it a try and leaving feedback!
Great to see the game being played a lot more this week, since now this will help me add/fix things in time (for the games next update).

Thanks for the feedback!
Currently, I'm working on performance improvements because if you did not notice, each wave your fps may drop by 5-10 frames after wave 3.

Anyways, the performance should be a lot better next update, and I will also add 1-2 more gamemodes (like VIB and quickmatch), more weapons, and a halloween theme.

Anyways, thank you so much for the feedback again!

Not sure, but I had someone with a similar problem, where they said they were basically stuck.
The problem was that they did not click the golden "Submit" button at the bottom right side of the screen, which will then unlock most controls. If this is not the problem, I will try look into it.

Thanks for the feedback,  and currently I am working on optimizing the game's performance (especially on mobile). I will also try improve the sound, but a lot of the sound+music may change  next week (halloween update), so I might work on that later.
Thank you again !

Now players can play on mobile, but keep in mind, low end devices may struggle (especially on higer waves)!

LOL!
What the heck, you actually managed to play it on a phone?
But yeah, for now, it is designed for more laptops/computers, which is why a mouse is needed (or atleast I thought until now).

Anyways, after I add a halloween update (may do that if more players arrive), I will be making a mobile supported version!

Lol, wait till/if you get Butcher and/or Clover, it gets even better. Seeing a giganta crit destroy a whole crowd is very satisfying.

Though if you don't play multiplayer or watchads, it can be tricky to gain goldgems (if you don't have a rank 5 fork). It took me about 30 minutes to get it to rank 5 though (by reaching a 300,000 score and popping gold boss balloons).

Play Popaloon here: https://jashprogamez.itch.io/pop-a-loon

Hello, I need feedback for my Pop-a-loon game, and so far, it bascially only has 8 plays and a measly 1 rating. My friend enjoys playing it and actually somehow played it for 2 hours, so I'm guessing it isn't horrible, but something isn't adding up (it isn't growing much).

The game has  8 players in 5 days, and this sucks since i worked on it for a while. Anyways,  if you enjoy the game, please purchase atleast a weapon or two, and tell me how it is, this can help me tweak them, or find bugs (scorpion has a few, but most been fixed).

If you can with a friend, or see me in lobby 1, then please try out my multiplayer mode! My friend gets an fps of 12 when playing multiplayer, yet my fps is at the max 60, so it would be amazing to finally playtest it with strangers. Also, you may want to upgrade fork to rank 3 (blue star) right away, else you will struggle to reach wave 5 (which means you won't be able to gain goldgems as easy, unless you play multiplayer).

Play Pop-a-loon here: https://jashprogamez.itch.io/pop-a-loon
If you enjoy it, please share it with a friend or family so the multiplayer mode is not empty.

Desktop Exe will be released soon.

Haha, yeah, despite it having a few bugs and all, the game can definetely be fun.
And with how bad my latest game pop-a-loon is doing (empty lobbies), I could defintely give some of my older games some attention. Thanks Btw!

If any one takes the time to play this game, I will really appreciate it if you play the multiplayer, since i am lacking feedback here. I want to know if I have any bugs here, and if its running right (no performance or network issues). Well just the whole gmae in general, and what weapons you enjoy using etc.

Lol, this game still gets plays?
Maybe I will remake it as a multiplayer game, fix bugs, and polish it.

New Balloon popping multiplayer game!

Great game (left full comment on main page)!

Interesting game+good music, love the basic simple controls, and fighting the boss was pretty fun (that robotic mech).

It would be really cool if you automatically shoot, by holding down left click, instead of clicking though.

Mine is a basic Hot Potato game, and can be played here.
Stickman Hot Potato! by J.Gamez (itch.io)

This is a pretty simple game: Throw a flaming hot potato to burn your opponents’ hands instead of yours! It’s like playing catch, but with a fiery twist. Just don’t get caught holding the potato when the timer reaches 0, or you’ll be feeling the heat!

LOL, that kind of sucks, haha.

Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for your time!

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, it made my day!
This is my first shooter game, and my first game jam submission, which is why it did not quite fit the theme.
I  will update the graphics+animations soon, and make minor changes.
I will definitely try to improve and learn from my previous mistakes, but once again, thanks for the comment!

Thank you so much for the feedback I will update the graphics soon!
I think I should of stuck with one graphic style if that makes sense, I also wanted to make it look more like an arcade game, but then changed my mind in the middle of the project.

Anyways, Once again, thanks for taking the time to point out the things I should improve on!

use the bow against blue bullets, the machine gun against grey bullets, and the explosive grenade launcher against red bullets.
It takes some practice and is meant to be challenging!

I like how creative, different, and unique this game is, also the visuals look great!
It was actually a bit challenging making the smartest decision, I really like the story + sfx, and how well writen each sentence is.
definetly a high 5 for me!

Thank you so much for the comment.
Only 2-3 people (irl) told me how my  game was, and they said they enjoy it, eventhough it's difficult at first but gets easier!
I'm glad it may not be too stressful/hard for some, since once you learn more about each weapon and how to use it, it gets 10x easiers.
