It's a shame you couldn't work on this as much as you'd wanted. I can see the vision and would've loved to play your complete idea for the game! What you have now is already pretty interesting, so if you were to continue working on this, I think it could turn out to be a very, very cool game!

The art direction is super unique and funny; I laughed quite a bit with this game!  Its gameplay was also very fun! Good Work!

Very, Very Pretty! The background looks absolutely amazing. I stopped and stared at it for a long time. The jumping feels very nice. The game might benefit from sound, like music or sound effects. But still, it's a very nice game! Well Done!

Great game! Absolutely love how the fish spins out of control when you bump into something. Laughed alot harder at that than I needed to. Well Done!

5 Stars All Across The Board!

The game was amazing! The sound design was flawless. I love as you gain more time during the fishing stage, later parts of the BGM can be heard. The art was amazing, as well. The card art was very charming. Overall, amazing game! 

I really liked this game! I had never played a clicker game before this; I can see why people like the genre now! The different sprites for all the fish were very cute, I loved seeing each new one. As someone else had already mentioned, the "multi-click" feature is very nice! My only critique is that the spawnrate of duplicates is a bit high; putting in the effort to afford new fish just to get the same fish over and over is a bit disheartening. If you could make the sprites that you Don't yet have spawn more often, I think that'd really help. Overall, a really fun and relaxing experience. Good Work!

AMAZING

Love a good bartending game! The artstyle is charming, and I love the creativity behind the different drink names. I played on PC, but I can imagine this would work very well as a mobile game. Well Done!

Really creative idea! I love how the deck stacks at the end of the fish as you collect more cards, that was a really neat touch. The physics of the waves at the top of the water is also very impressive. Good work!

I never played Club Penguin. But if the games on there were This fun, I can understand why everyone loved it! Very cute art and nice level of juice; I love how the fisher's sprite hops when you catch each fish. My only critique is the lack of music being a bit jarring, but that's a VERY small critique. Overall, loved this one! Great Work!

Very nice first game! The controls are very responsive and the art is amazing! I'm excited to see what you can come up with in the future! 

Really love the overall aesthetic of this one! Sound Design is so adorable! I went into a silent awe when I got the sad kazoo music when I lost for the first time. My only critique would be making it clearer to the player where their mouse-paw is hovering. It was a bit difficult telling where exactly I was clicking sometimes. But overall, a phenomenal submission! Well Done! 

Fantastic movement! Absolutely love the character designs. Unfortunately I couldn't get too far into the game, as it gave me super bad motion sickness. But from what I played, I love it!

If you hold down the S key  while airborne, you'll dive down and krill anything in the way

Yes absolutely, it was part of our design that the longer you stay in the air the more points you rack up. Though we ran outta time before we could implement that feature 😞 We agree it would've been a great addition; Glad we're all on the same page!

Very well polished experience. My favorite aspect was absolutely the sound design. It definitely aided in conveying a spatial atmosphere. Wonderfully Done! 

This is a really well put-together project! The art is amazing (I love the use of dithering on the ceiling and floor to show depth). The enemies are very well done as well; them always approaching you gives a very "Mr. X" level of anxiety when moving through the levels. The SFXs and OST are very nice as well. Overall, very well done!

Really nice pixel art on this game! SFXs are pretty good too. Although, the game's a bit difficult, and I think it could do with some sort of BGM. Other than that, pretty good game! Well done!

I have in my notes to include smaller maps in future updates of the game, along with fully implementing the terrain system. Hopefully it'll all come out very well

Ty for enjoying the art LOL it was my personal favorite aspect of the game, as well.

I'll update the project in the future with a more interactive tutorial/how-to-play sequence to help simplify things

Yeah, in hindsight I could've made the board a bit smaller to make engagement with the enemy a bit quicker. I'll keep that in mind for future updates which post-jam.

As for if there's any way to unlock additional boards/cards, yes and no. In the code and in the editor, the password system worked fine and included ways to unlock extra content, such as boards, cards, and customizable card colors. But once I built the project out, the system just wouldn't work the way I wanted. I plan on fixing that with future updates, as well.

Thought this would be a nice, chill game. I'm screaming cause I placed a red house in between two trees and ruined my run. Fantastic Game, 10/10 /gen

Congrats on finishing your first game! It's a very well put together one, at that. Controls feel very smooth and tight; any screw-ups or collisions are entirely a fault of the player's skill. The map variety is also very nice. Overall, very well done! I'm excited to see  what comes from you in the future! :)

This game's full of charm. I love the different pet designs and special abilities, with my favorite being Skully. The sprite art is also Incredible. Overall, very solid game!

Ooh gotcha! Yeah, I feel like if you can find a way to mitigate that issue, it'd do wonders for the gameplay experience. Looking forward to what comes of this project in the future. Followed!

Extremely fun game! The concept is very simple, yet very very fun! Love the CRT effect and really appreciate the ability to disable it if desired. 

Really great game! Nice use of the screen space and placement of UI/HUD elements. I wish I were better at RTS's to really fully enjoy this :( Great job, overall!

This was a very interesting version of Snake! I loved that you had to make quick decisions about which direction to go in that might come back to bite you later. My only gripe is with what I referred to as the "hunger mechanic," where you die if you don't eat after awhile. I think it's a great addition and adds extra tension to the game, but it's not communicated anywhere that this mechanic exists. So after I died a few times seemingly out of nowhere, I was very confused and put off. But once I caught on to the mechanic, it became fun to work around. If this mechanic was communicated in some way, I think it'd mitigate the problem entirely. All in all, a really nice and fun game. Played through it a few times. Well done!

I liked the artstyle quite a lot. The enemy varieties were really nice and fun to play around. I specifically enjoyed the enemy that camouflages into the terrain and jumpscares you.  I really enjoyed the movement as well; in the later waves, specifically wave 7 and onward, it's really challenging [in a good way] to bob and weave through enemy attacks. 

My greatest drawback is how long it takes to get to those more challenging waves. Waves 1 through 6 are very slow, so by the time I've reached the more demanding waves, I've grown pretty bored. Then if I die in those later waves, I have to go through the long wait til wave 7 again. Either speeding up the passage of waves or spawning newer enemies in the earlier waves would mitigate the issue, I assume.

Overall very fun and simple game! I enjoyed my playthroughs; Good Job!
