About the double checking objects and wandering around the map, I was trying to make the game more "dynamic" but it ended up being a little out of place...

About the story, I ended up cutting a lot of it to make the game short to be easily played but I regredt it a little since the story and characters intentions can be a little confusing XD

I'll try to make a remake of this game when I get more time to dedicate to it

I watched the stream, I'm really enjoying participating more actively with a game jam so that's it

About the time to polish, I admit I ended up focusing a lot on the graphics and story, which ended up making me activelly work on the game on a very short time-

I'll try to keep my experience with this jam on the general as a lesson to better administrate my time during those projects

I'm currently trying to finally start a serious and commercial project, and decided to start by a genre I realy liked: Visual Novels!

"Cupid Planet" is the name of the project (which currently have a little demo already).
The demo have three main variations of the "ending" with some info about the general lore of the VN.

I'll show some screenshots bellow and talk a little about the general idea of the game.

The game idea is, basically, be a horror/mystery story set in a fantastic world where the main character have no connection or knowledge about it, but ended up appearing there under the title of "Child of the Elysium"

The main themes of the game will be about the murders taking place in the locations the main character is and his relations with the other character to develop possible endings for the story you're playing.

For more info, I deeply recomend you to play the vn, which is currently  available to be played in the browser.

A little too hard, but this is more of my personal taste.
The graphics and music gave me a cozy feeling, I liked.

The story and atmosphere is something that I really want to develop in the stories and games that I work.

The confusion of the game was intentional to immerse in the atmosphere of the story (despite not being too clear in the game)

I've got a little confused with the controls, not gonna lie... but I've found it fun in genral, the ambience is good and i found the graphics pretty

I think this is an extremely accurate representation of babysitting (Never babysitted in my life)

Found the combat system a bit difficult but I liked the aesthetic
Will try to play with more calm later

I really liekd the game. Thought the view with mouse a little difficult to control, but it was more of personal taste! The game itself is really good and fun.
