Hi!
I'm currently developing a 2D sandbox game called Underlode, a sandbox game like terraira/minecraft
The game has quite a few systems already, including mining, building, different environments, creatures, weather, water, and boss fights. I'm currently working on improving the game's atmosphere and overall audio.
I'm looking for someone who would be interested in helping create sound effects for the game.
What im looking for:
- Environmental sounds (wind, rain, thunder, ambience, etc.)
- Creature and enemy sounds
- Mining, breaking and placing block sounds
- Weather and environmental interaction sounds
- Other general gameplay sound effects
About the game:
- The game is actively being developed.
- Many gameplay systems are already implemented.
- I'm currently focusing on polish, atmosphere and improvements.
If you're interested, please leave a comment.
Thanks.

Hi You need runes to summon the boss, which can be found throughout The Overgrowth. Ill explain the summoning process in more detail in the release notes
As for the water, it works for the most part, but it's not quite what I originally had in mind. Ill hopefully be able to improve it in future updates
Thanks for checking out the game and sharing your feedback.
Underlode – Development Update
Hi! Underlode is a sandbox game I'm developing, inspired by games like Minecraft and Terraria.
Version 0.8a is coming out very soon, so I thought this would be a good time to share some insight into its development, what I've been working on, and where the game currently stands.
There's been quite a lot of progress lately, and I wanted to give everyone a look at what's coming!
New Boss & Dimension
The first major addition in this update is a brand-new boss, along with a new dimension called The Overgrowth.
The Overgrowth is where you'll encounter the boss, or more specifically, where you'll summon it. You'll have to explore the dimension, prepare yourself and eventually fight the boss. Defeating it rewards you with some of the strongest gear currently available in the game.

New Armor & Ores
This update introduces several new armor sets, including Iron and Gold armor, with each set offering better protection than the previous one.
There's also a new ore called Aetherite, which is used to craft the latest armor set. However, obtaining it isn't quite as simple as mining it. You'll need to defeat the boss first before you can properly access this new resource.
Aetherite armor will be revealed soon.
Inventory & Equipment Changes
The inventory UI has also received some changes, including two new equipment slots: the Offhand slot and the Accessory slot.
The Offhand slot lets you hold items in your other hand, such as torches, so you can use them while mining without constantly switching between inventory slots.
The Accessory slot is for a new type of equipment that grants special abilities. You'll obtain your first accessory by defeating the new boss. I won't reveal too much about what it does just yet!
Other Changes & Improvements
Finally, there are quite a few smaller additions and improvements included in this update.
These include a new weather system featuring rain and wind, a new enemy (Zombies), and water, which is still a work in progress and has a few bugs.
There are also several new blocks, improved lighting, and various technical changes aimed at improving performance.
That's most of what I've been working on for version 0.8a. There's still plenty more I'd like to add and improve, but I'm excited to get this update out!
Thanks for checking out Underlode!

Underlode is out
Underlode is a 2D mining and survival sandbox, and version 0.3a is now live.
Dig down through dirt and stone, find ores, smelt them in a furnace, and craft tools, doors, chests, and more. You can build houses, farms, and underground bases, shape blocks into slopes and half-blocks, grow trees from seeds, and watch out for falling sand, bouncy slime blocks, and the slimes themselves.
What’s in this version
- Mining, crafting, and building
- Furnaces and ore smelting
- Slopes and half-blocks
- Falling sand and bouncy blocks, including slime blocks
- Slimes to fight
- Tree growing and farming
This is still an early alpha, so expect bugs. New features and improvements will keep coming.
Found a bug? Let me know in the comments. Reports, ideas, and feedback all help.
Thanks for playing!

PIXELSTOIDS IS OUT
Blast asteroids. Earn Pixees. Upgrade five weapons — from your starting blaster all the way up to the Railgun that punches through entire rock fields, and the Rift Gun that opens a portal to a dimension where nothing plays by the same rules.
Dash, dodge, manage your heat, survive wave after wave that only gets harder — and when you're ready, step into the Rift and see what's waiting on the other side.
Free to play. Available now.

Pixelstoids v0.8a — The Rift
HI
0.8a is out — and it adds something I've been sitting on for a while: a new dimension.
The whole update is built around one weapon: the Rift Gun. Fire it and it doesn't hurt a thing — instead it tears open a portal into the Rift, a dimension sitting above your own base space.
Step through and here's what changes:
- Asteroids can't touch you up there, but they don't stop moving either — base space keeps running without you the moment you leave it.
- Every bullet you fire while you're in the Rift just hangs there, frozen, instead of flying off.
- Fire the Rift Gun again to come back, hit Q, and every bullet you stockpiled fires all at once. Line it up right and you can clear an entire wave in one click.
And don't get too comfortable in there — the longer you stay on a single visit, the more the Rift starts to notice you. I'm leaving that part for you to find out yourself.
It's in the shop now for 20,000 Pixees, with upgrades for reload, recoil resist, and Rift Stability.
bye Thanks for playing Pixelstoids :)
