Ty! I’d love to keep playing it as well!

I honestly will play it again, I liked it because it reminded me kinda like Celeste platformer wise and the mechanics are really nice. I do want to see the game progress and stuff as well :D

I liked it, only problems I had is the keyboard, I would say have a configureation settings pr key bindings to make it easier as I really didn't like how spread out the controls are for running, dodging and so on. Also have a tutorial option for the sake of it if you're able to. Really liked it though and the graphics and concept are great!

Very good game, I also ha a little trouble with controlls till I figured them out, I had fun with it, graphics are good and didn't run into much of a problem regarding bugs, left it a 6 star review

is it also possible if you could give my game a rating? I’d be deeply appreciated if you do, not pushing you at all though!

Np, really like the game though :D

New Version of Vesper's Void out! what this update brings: Relics able to be found by searching rooms (15) 5 common, 5 rare, 5 legendary relics. Perception is key here as you can only find one per room search. added QOL to the stat bar now it shows xp, relics equipped (2), and fixed temple progression along with it also showing your perception. Relics give passive added bonuses which are really nice!

Promotional sale is still going on till the end of this month! 40% off!

I’ll add that to the rules page, I gotta fix that

it was the browser once, I was using chrome. Hope this helps

I have some big updates planned this month and next month, thought I'd let you know what's coming!

Updates coming soon in order:

Version 1.5.0:

- Brings relics that will be usable but only two where you can put them on in the equip menu.

-QOL updates with new parts to stats along with a better chances of the Void merchant along with adding blacksmith and an Alter to more places

-Conglang introduced to lore fragments so people can have a better conversion experience

Version 1.5.1:

Bug fixes to anywhere that needs them

Version 2.0.0:

-setting menu

-Souls Mode

-Death counter

-QOL updates

-bug fixes

What is Vesper's Void? Well, in one sentence I'd describe it as:

A brutal ASCII roguelike RPG where every decision echoes through your journey. Explore 17 illusion dungeons, uncover powerful relics, and survive a world that wants you to fail.

There is a sale going on now since it just came out too! Which you can find at my Devlogs!

Game page

what’s up Phil, how’s the developments going

Hello! I played a good 10 minutes of your game. I really like the concept of it.  The only thing I would say is make a turtorial about what each egg or watermelon is and your objective and what the food does also who you can and can't jump over. I would also say take a more lane approach as I was playing there was so many chances for eggs but I would slip past them (might be a skill issue though). Other than that, great game

Check out Vesper's Void the Eternal Cascade!

One Chance. One Life.

Also if you do like it, if you can, please rate it so I know what I can do better, also I have future updates planned, I'm working on one now.

Lol, that's alright, does it work now hopefully? Did the devlogs help as well?

Ty how long it takes you to make the tool

made the devlog you can check it here: Installation Guide

yeah so it is because you didnt extract it, I'll make a devlog with instructions

did you extract it? Cause my beta tester had the same problem

alr

Oh I did this all in python, also on a chrome book... with chrome OS and Replit, no engine... that was the hardest part lol

Really love the game so far, added it to my collection, can't wait to see how far this goes! Are you planning to release it anywhere else like steam? I think you'd get some good following there too for this game when it comes out. Though I know steam can be pricey with you having to have 100$ to put your game on there too

later it will be localized in a lot of other languages like both Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Mandarin, French, Italian, Spanish, PTBR, German, Russian, Galatian, Calatan, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and a lot more

English

I admit that I used it to refine my original image cause the thing I drew looks bad and I needed it better for ASCII art later. It is going into ASCII art and I do all that by hand, I really couldn't care less about this since it's not even the product going into the game. I'm sorry, I can't have anyone work on this either for a simple thing.

Here's my pixel art about the turtle before asking it to refine the image:

also it won’t be like this in my game, it’ll be ascii art cause I’m not doing a 2D game

nah I js hate doing eyes in pixel art the turtle is mine

really love it! Good job on it!

I need a name for this little pixel art fire turtle for my game. Any ideas? They’ll all go to a poll on gamejolt. Game Jolt Page.

I do already have an Italian translator for my game. Sorry man 😅

Hello! I'm interested in localizing my game to slovak, I can't pay you, if that's a problem. Also I'd recommend playing my demo to see what it is before saying yes. If still willing please contact me!

Alr, as for the html, I've had so many problems doing that via render I gave up mostly cause it doesn't play as well in CMD and stuff of computers

Can you send me a screen capture of what you see? Mine looks like this:

How do you classify Mainstream vs Indie? I'm asking your opinion, I'm not clue less.

game overall is really good and I like the concept of bringing back Asteroids from the Atari and stuff, I played from both laptop and mobile. The laptop version is really good. The mobile one though, the controllers are small and I’d suggest having it to where I can turn the phone sideways and add a full screen.

Hello, I recently added new content and a QOL update for my game, I want to know what you guys think about it, soon I’ll have even more content around the beginning of next month and want to know what you guys think of that too. Test it here and give a rating if possible! I want to know what I can improve on and if anything is too hard right now. (I.e bosses leveling system etc).
