Thanks a lot for the feedback!

I agree that music is something I absolutely needed, but was unable to add it in this time. I will most probably add it after the rating phase of the jam is over. I really enjoyed your game too, hope I see more stuff from you too!

No Problem! I hope you try out my game too and give me your feedback on it too!

Love the game! Its a very well made, but I feel there is one very big issue that you should fix after the jam is over. You should reduce the screen shake when the weapons are firing a lot of bullets, I played till wave 20, but then had to stop due to the nauseating feeling due to high screen shake.

Also, a few tips to make the game more fun. You should reduce the reload time for the sniper and rocket launcher, because that does not suit the fast paced nature of your game. It will make them overpowered, so be sure to nerf them if you follow my advice. Secondly, should give the player a reason to move around. In its current state, I could just get a fast firing gun, such as the machine gun, and then camp in one corner of the map. I did not find the chest you placed until i decided to find a way to complete the game.

All in all, fantastic work! Love the art and music, and the game was well made. Keep it up!

The concept was pretty good, but it felt that the character was a little hard to control. The music was pretty good, but due to the difficulty of the game, I didn't get to listen to it properly. I liked the idea of the opening sequence, but it went by very fast and I didn't get to look at it properly. I really enjoyed the drawings and animations. One complaint that I have is that the game shuts down when I die, which meant that I had to reopen the game to play again. If polished, it would be a pretty fun game to play.

It took me a long time to understand how the game worked, mainly because there was no indication about where the player was, and I didn't realize that the blue circles were mines. I would recommend either making the mines look clearer, and the player character bigger. Also, if possible, also put the tutorial in the game.

Thanks ! And all the best to you too!

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I noticed that with my play testers too, and was planning on fixing the tutorial after the jam ended. I will also definitely consider the increasing levels of difficulty, as that was something I was a little iffy about initially, but decided to not think about it due to time constraints.

The game was pretty fun, but sometimes when the camera turned, I would end up dying even without getting a chance to react. For example, if i was moving to the right, the camera turned towards the left, and i died even before I knew what happened. I would also appreciate a death sound, which would sound quite nice.

The game itself was amazing, but the echolocation took too long to execute. Sometimes it felt that even though the first wave has faded, I was not allowed to use it again. Also, shooting the burst of sound through the smaller areas felt a little difficult, as if the bullet was coming out of the players body rather than the gun. I also felt that the longer levels could use checkpoints. I ended up quitting after I died quite far into the level, and had to restart from the beginning.

Loved the game and can't wait to see more. Hope you try my submission to the jam too and let me know your thoughts on it. Its called "The Last Wave".

Hey man, loved the idea of the game, however it seems to be a little buggy on my end. As soon as the enemies start appearing, the player sprite gets moved up into the air, but the collision and bullet shooting still takes place on the ground.

The mechanics are pretty good too, much I feel a little frustrated when I encounter the green object. It deals an instant kill regardless of what my health is, and is not clear what it is when you first play the game. I would recommend that you make some sort of a tutorial for the game, as it will be easier to understand what is going on.

Lastly, the level starts getting crowded very quick, so I would suggest that you make the level a little bigger and give the player some sort of terrain benefits.

Eager to see what you have planned for this game!

Thanks a lot for your feedback!
I will definitely play your game, and I'm glad that you enjoyed mine!
