the joys and heartbreaks i felt is why we need more gay stories like this one. my gay little heart yearns. i love them oh so much

we. will certainly be waiting. (for that dumptruck). 🫡 🌼 (to arrive)

gameplay? exhilarating.
artstyle? impeccable.
one question:    is. bad guy. single. 🫵💐

I love non-violent mechanics, and I love demons even more! this was refreshing to see and the little character sprites are so good and the designs are so!!. I want to smooch them

might even do a little fanart, the demon bikers are way too cool

I found myself moving on beat to Snail House - Hot Milk so great music choice, love the omori-esque artstyle and cute monster designs (even if there were only 2)

ah! Kevin Macleod! i knew it. thank you, you picked a great song

final score of 51 lol, got a bit too cocky with the fireballs and was immediately turned upside down

also, is the boss single?  💐🥺

its a little thing but for me the fact that either character's genders are ambiguous makes me love it even more because you can basically interpret it however you want. makes it much more impactful for me.

also, i have a LOT of nostalgia for the song that was playing but i cant remember the name !!! if anyone could please tell me because I'm trying to unlock a childhood memory that's at the tip of my tongue. I'm pretty sure I used to use this specific music for school projects

Ah! a different take on a "shopkeeping game with elements of alchemy", we're gameplay twins! (sort of)

I've actually proposed on adding this papa's-pizzeria-timer gameplay loop to our game sometime in the future; and while we focused on the potion-brewing mechanics you guys came up with the brilliant idea to add different micro-minigames for the different needs of the customers!

Top Marks for this one ⭐

tybor my little baby

same, our game jam build deleted all the characters and storyline so we're just waiting for the jam to end to fix that 🫡

ouhhh i LOVE the art and sound design. this game is so charming and quirky, it really feels like you're a penguin just slamming a keyboard. ..,, ,,,,, ,,,, ,, !!!! ??

its amazing how you guys managed to make all these video game thumbnail spoofs in a short amount of time. and the mad libs sort-of gameplay is pretty funny at times???? :OOOO ,,,,,,,,

however the game does break at the third post, i wasnt able to see all the game spoofs unlewss i kept restarting the game.?! ,,,,,, !!!!!!! , ????? :U :D

LOVE the robot designs and unique artstyle, though i was a bit frustrated with the gameplay..  managed to get to Mission 2 before ragequitting, maybe I just suck haha

anyways i sincerely do love the robots i think they're quite cute and handsome, and don't think I didn't notice that death pose! 🫵

(1 edit)

pretty neat! i love the juice and mechanics, first full-length game in this jam i've actually finished. I was actually starting to care for the hero and even my own 8-pixels-wide NPCs

would absolute LOVE a few little touches like a win or lose screen art though, so if you need an artist that can replicate the charming simplified aesthetic of the game and blowing it out to full HD I'd be glad to take on the challenge (for free!)

we will try 🫡🫡🫡

another brewing game! cheers

Wonderfully DELIGHTFUL! "explosive fuel can't melt steel shields" i understood that reference 🫡

oh wow! while i was playing i just kept thinking: "awh darn, our games could've been twins!"

Our game was intended to be where you play as a nameless magical shopkeeper who has to brew the correct items and potions for a returning cast of "protagonists", though unfortunately the game build had errored and deleted all the characters and storylines at the last minute...

this game is about a gay old dragon and I am HERE for it!!!! I was giggling jubilantly at the dialogue and characters, the whole thing is SO hilarious. The dragon especially is so adorable and I love his character oh so much he's just looks so tired and old and and and and!!!

We NEED more gay furry games like this!! (ME especially!!!!) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🫵🫵🫵🐲⚔️

This is so cute!!!❤️and silly!!🥺 love the artstyle and the monsters. Gameplay was pretty fun even though the controls were a bit non-juicy. Top Marks For This One 10/10

cute little game, the opening cutscene was really funny and the art there was pretty good

pretty neat and charming game, the concept is perfect for a murder mystery but its actually just a fairly simple puzzle rn.

love the music and low poly monopoly board game aesthetic

a great tragedy struck here....

that final boss was soooo good I nearly stopped breathing when I realized I had 3% of the timer left!

very challenging but so satisfying to play, it's got a lot of juice

we're working on it :)

you sir are an inspiration. making 4 masterpieces in 48 hours is insane!!

quick request but do the artists of the character sprites and cover image have social media accounts? Asking for a friend

I had to check this out because of beeg dice man (awooga). The animations are pretty good for a 48-hour game but I was really confused on how to play in my first 3 attempts.

I like the concept of the gameplay but it was really annoying with the convoluted controls, I'd give this game another try if you guys changed the controls to something more convenient .

My idea is to make the dice automatically stop rolling at the start of each turn, and then give the dice a visual hint that they can be clicked. My initial experience was that I thought the dice were enemy tornadoes. Oh, and unify the attack and move input into just left-clicking; having to switch between space, left-click, and right-click for something as simple as moving tiles is a massive oversight.

omg hii im a big fan of your game ^____^ (artist here)

I would love to draw up an update to the UI if we ever re-explore development

The gameplay is pretty interesting but has a game-breaking bug, but I really just came here for the *COUGHS VIOLENTLY* big buff dice designs which is ... cool.... so cool... yeah....  Does MrButterNoodles have a social media account I can check out? (for research purposes)

I'd say, both? the dice (powerups?) give no explanation whatsoever, and just felt like an annoying and random pause menu for the bullet hell gameplay. The random reload would be fun if the goal was to save ammo; here, it just felt like a gimmick gun from a different shooter.

best game I've played on this jam so far! It's creative, charming, and fun. It has a gameplay loop that makes it last longer than most games on this jam. I'd definitely love to see this turned into a full-fledged game with a story!

the concept is neat, I finally beat the game after 3 pathetic attempts lol

simple, charming, hard, fun.

I think there's a bug on level 7, but yeah this is pretty cool with the artstyle and gameplay

the gameplay felt confusing but I really dig the art!

ok I LOVE the art style but the dice mechanic feels very poorly applied here, it turns into a " choose the right number!!" which is lame but the concept gameplay of the enemy on stage 2 seemed really promising. Overall I think it'd be worth a try to rework the gameplay into something more intuitive rather than trying to force fit the dice mechanic.

The pixel artwork is GREAT but the enemies move WAY too fast, I literally can't hit them because I have to guess where they are. I'd play this without the dice mechanic, it's just a hindrance and adds nothing to the game.

i got to a score of 500 before things got too hectic and I just cared about survival more than hitting the right dice. fun concept but I wish it was being moved by mouse rather than arrow keys

ok the enemy designs look fun as hell and the animations are very charming... game was too difficult for me though and I die on the third round of enemies every time (the mouse sensitivity isn't for me)
