its a little thing but for me the fact that either character's genders are ambiguous makes me love it even more because you can basically interpret it however you want. makes it much more impactful for me.
also, i have a LOT of nostalgia for the song that was playing but i cant remember the name !!! if anyone could please tell me because I'm trying to unlock a childhood memory that's at the tip of my tongue. I'm pretty sure I used to use this specific music for school projects
Ah! a different take on a "shopkeeping game with elements of alchemy", we're gameplay twins! (sort of)
I've actually proposed on adding this papa's-pizzeria-timer gameplay loop to our game sometime in the future; and while we focused on the potion-brewing mechanics you guys came up with the brilliant idea to add different micro-minigames for the different needs of the customers!
Top Marks for this one ⭐
ouhhh i LOVE the art and sound design. this game is so charming and quirky, it really feels like you're a penguin just slamming a keyboard. ..,, ,,,,, ,,,, ,, !!!! ??
its amazing how you guys managed to make all these video game thumbnail spoofs in a short amount of time. and the mad libs sort-of gameplay is pretty funny at times???? :OOOO ,,,,,,,,
however the game does break at the third post, i wasnt able to see all the game spoofs unlewss i kept restarting the game.?! ,,,,,, !!!!!!! , ????? :U :D
pretty neat! i love the juice and mechanics, first full-length game in this jam i've actually finished. I was actually starting to care for the hero and even my own 8-pixels-wide NPCs
would absolute LOVE a few little touches like a win or lose screen art though, so if you need an artist that can replicate the charming simplified aesthetic of the game and blowing it out to full HD I'd be glad to take on the challenge (for free!)
oh wow! while i was playing i just kept thinking: "awh darn, our games could've been twins!"
Our game was intended to be where you play as a nameless magical shopkeeper who has to brew the correct items and potions for a returning cast of "protagonists", though unfortunately the game build had errored and deleted all the characters and storylines at the last minute...
this game is about a gay old dragon and I am HERE for it!!!! I was giggling jubilantly at the dialogue and characters, the whole thing is SO hilarious. The dragon especially is so adorable and I love his character oh so much he's just looks so tired and old and and and and!!!
We NEED more gay furry games like this!! (ME especially!!!!) ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🫵🫵🫵🐲⚔️
I had to check this out because of beeg dice man (awooga). The animations are pretty good for a 48-hour game but I was really confused on how to play in my first 3 attempts.
I like the concept of the gameplay but it was really annoying with the convoluted controls, I'd give this game another try if you guys changed the controls to something more convenient .
My idea is to make the dice automatically stop rolling at the start of each turn, and then give the dice a visual hint that they can be clicked. My initial experience was that I thought the dice were enemy tornadoes. Oh, and unify the attack and move input into just left-clicking; having to switch between space, left-click, and right-click for something as simple as moving tiles is a massive oversight.
ok I LOVE the art style but the dice mechanic feels very poorly applied here, it turns into a " choose the right number!!" which is lame but the concept gameplay of the enemy on stage 2 seemed really promising. Overall I think it'd be worth a try to rework the gameplay into something more intuitive rather than trying to force fit the dice mechanic.
