gameplay? exhilarating.
artstyle? impeccable.
one question: is. bad guy. single. 🫵💐
Have so much fun with the gamee! Felt contextful and love the story telling along the minigames sooo muchhhh
Wow sooo many minigames in one game. Brilliant concept and execution. Great Job.
I really like the concept and the idea of a game made up of many mini-games. It's just that some of the games weren't as good as others, and for example, the one with the push-ups felt overly long, and with nothing to do but press space.
Thank you for playing the game, yes some mini games are longer than they're supposed to it was because i built the game and got lazy to change it once i realised it was too long, glad you enjoyed !
Great idea, loved the audio, my only tiny wee bit of advice is to make the cereal bowl follow the mouse exactly instead of lagging behind cuz it got kinda maddening after missing the first 20 bits of cereal. Otherwise very neat and polished game!
(P.S. I know this was made in 48h but I cant help but imagine a final boss battle with skills and stuff you got during the routine, like being stronger from the work out mini game.)
Thx for tour comment <3 In fact, the "laggy" bowl is intentionally set by Loogy, otherwise the game would have been too easy. And indeed, the final battle was planned, but due to lack of time, we didn't do it.
this is a super neat game! i liked how intuitive the minigames were and that i wasn't bogged down by tutorial text. i think the game lacked some sense of consequence--there are a lot of minigames but no punishment for playing them badly. the graphics and music were super nice though, and i'm incredibly surprised you got all of this out in only two days.
I liked the transitions between levels, so much stuff to do. But I think the better end of the game would be meeting the hero and the number of scores you gained playing minigames would convert into strength/damage dealt against the hero)
Thank you very much ! We had a smilar idea for the end but didn't have enough time to do it, glad you enjoyed !
Really nice game! The art and sounds are great, and the minigames are fun (I really liked the last one hehe). Though I feel like some games are too long (and painful, especially the one where you have to press space). And it would be cool to have more games where you really feel like a bad guy, like the first two.
Pretty fun game with a cool concept !
It looks really cool !
Well done !
Lol really cool! I love the idea and it was pretty amusing. I especially loved the first two scenes! I do think it ended slightly abruptly, I thought there'd at least be some mini-game fighting a hero. Also some of the mini-games felt maybe a little long, especially when they are relatively basic. Still though great idea! I got 1216 points (hopefully that's not terrible lol)
Good work on this!
Thank you for the comment ! 1216 is great but the best ending is at 1800 points
(I may have put it too high cause it's very diffucult to get that many points, oops...). Yes some mini games are way too long but unfortunately it is because there wasn't that many mini games and when i wante to change the timer i just finished the last build of the game so i got lazy and left it as is. Of course a boss fight as the boss was originally intended but we ran out of time to make it properly.Fun game, but I didn’t really feel like a bad guy so I think the concept fell a bit short there.
I feel like I'm ready to be a supervillain now, haha! I liked the mini-games but I felt like some went on too long. It would have been nice to maybe have them repeat randomly but last for shorter duration, similar to WarioWare. I think you could definitely add more to this project post-jam and maybe add some traditional RPG gameplay in between the mini-games, it would be really cool to see more!
overall really fun with great warioware style elements, however i wish for some of the minigames (such as the dance dance revolution style one) there were some more instructions and time to process what you needed to do before it threw you into the minigame. Besides that however it was incredibly fun and honestly really funny
also the art was a consistent win
Thank you for the comment. It might be hard to know what to do in some mini games but keep in mind it is also pretty difficult to make small minigames where you understand how they work in the first few seconds.
We'll keep that in mind if we eventually continue developping this game, glad you enjoyed our game !
Thank you, I had a great time, I even laughed! The idea is good, the WarioWare aspect is awesome, and even the fact that I'm terrible at this game is great :D . Plus, a true bad guy wouldn't have anything better to do. Maybe the game is just a bit short? Anyway, well done! :)
Thank you very much ! Yes the game is a bit short but that's because we didn't have time to make more mini games... but i'd rather a short, well finished game, rather than a long unfunny mess.
You're right! In any case, I had a good time :) .
Hella funny premise! I loved the minigames but they were progressing so fast I didn't have time to soak in what I just experienced ahaha! I also love the Friday Night Funkin touch to the mini game, but these were flying by so quick I couldn't comprehend them (probs just me and my skill issue). But it was very fun nonetheless! And I love the artwork to this, as well as music!
Thank you very much for the feedback ! Yeah the mini-games do tend to chain really quickly, we had the ideo to make short cinematics as transition but we didn't have the time unfortunately. The FnF part is also one of my fav part, i polished it alot but yeah you're right it is a bit too hard, sorry !
Very cool that you managed to create that many minigames and that short amount of time, very impressive.
I liked the art style and music. My only feedback would be to shorten the “press space” minigame time a bit (my fingers hurt :O ).
Good job :]
Thank you haha, the art and music isn't from me it's from my friend Evann, he's also looking in the comments he'll be happy to see that many people like his art
(idk how did he manage to alla of these amazing sprites so quickly, this guys does witchcraft). Already said that to other people in the comments but again, when i wanted to change the timer for the lifting scene, i was just done compiling the last build so i got a bit lazy, the scen should have lasted around 5 seconds.Glad you enjoyed the game !
I was on steroids.
Just kidding :)
Or not...
Coll concept for a game jam!
Really cool!
We played with a similar idea, but the best we could come up with was some sort of idle-game.
Turning it into wario-ware type game with mini games is really clever though!
My only complaint is that the timer for the button mash minigame felt way too long. Did manage to crank out 300 bench presses though, so the hero better watches out.
Good job!
Thank you very much ! Yes, the lifting scene is way too long, should have been something around 5 seconds but when i wanted to change it, the game was finished and I already had compiled the last build so i got a bit lazy because i was tired by the jam, we had very little sleep.
Glad you enjoyed the game !
Fun narrative framing idea with an appealing presentation. While the mini games are well-executed, it might be a more engaging experience if they build off each other in some way - for example, maybe you can pick how to spend your day (e.g. which activities to do, but you can't do them all in time) and how you perform doing them unlocks/improves skills you can use in a final battle w/ the hero? Tying the whole experience together in some way with some kind of risk/reward mechanic could help. Very solid foundation though. Hope you keep fleshing it out!
Fantastic art style!
