Most habit trackers I used had too much going on and it overwhelmed me, so I made my own!

https://harieiv.itch.io/tiny-people-demo

It's very simple: Characters will explore a stage while you're away, and you can log what you've done irl by entering them in 1 of 4 categories, then selecting the length of the activity you've done. Logging your habits gives you EXP and increases your stats!

There's no streak system (which usually just makes me feel guilty in other tracker apps), but all the activities you've ever done is logged in the stats menu so you don't forget what you've done and you can analyse your progress!

The UI is simple and there really isn't much to do, but I find that it's still a fun way to gamify a part of your life.

This is also only the first version, and I've got plans to add a bit more for your characters to do, including finding pets and harvesting resources!

This is entirely free though you're free to support the development of this through donations :) Thank you for reading!

If you have any feedback I would love to hear it!

Cool concept! Would be worth exploring further outside of this jam to improve it.

Pretty cool, makes me think of Pizza Tower

Really nice concept, and thank you for including options for both arrow keys and WASD (which many people do not do)

Your timer is on the wrong layer so it doesn't show up as UI, but it's not bad for your first project

The owl is really cute, this would be a very nice children's game to learn map but it needs a win screen.

A little confusing initially but interesting concept!

It's not bad but the fact that the background is the same color as the player makes me lose sight of the player sometimes

This is a good but pretty difficult game!

Pretty cool, but I wish the font was a little easier to read

Not bad, the horn sound when failing is funny

Am I doing something wrong? I can't even get past the first wall

Very simple but works well as a game, makes me think of stuff like game dev tycoon and such

Pretty fun, would do nice as a party game! The bear models look funny :3

A lot of vibes with this game, and I like the simplistic "paper animation"-like artstyle

Thank you very much for the feedback :)

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for the feedback! As a composer myself I'm also really happy that I could include music in my submission. Just wish I had time to compose the soundtrack myself too xD

For those that don't want to dowload a file, it's on gd.games: https://gd.games/harieiv/unsound-game

it's okay haha, thanks for checking it out :D

(1 edit)

you need to be close and facing the dropped ball to be able to pick it up, then you can click Z to take it and Z to throw! The controls are on the main itch.io page, but basically Z to pick up & throw, X to separate & regenerate head, F5 to restart
