Thank you so much for trying my game! Your comment really made me happy. That's exactly what I was trying to do, and I'm so glad someone noticed it, just as I intended. Those were the games I used as inspiration. I spent a lot of time replicating the Castlevania style in the character sprite. I'm really sorry it took me so long to reply. I hope we can meet again someday at another game jam.

Thank you so much for your support and for trying out my little demo. I'm really glad you liked the style. I spent so much time making the character animation sprites that it consumed a lot of development time back then. I also need to improve the controls, as you mentioned; it's a problem I've had in all my demos so far. That will be the first thing I fix. I think these kinds of games are more fun when you can share them with someone locally, like in the old days.

Thank you so much for trying my game.  I hadn't thought that situation could happen; it really slipped my mind. I also think that for this jam it would have been great to start from the level where you left off, since everyone should try more games from the rest of the jam. I'll keep that in mind for future entries. Thank you so much for your help.

Yes, I really like that kaiju, I took it as inspiration, I wanted to add a boss fight at the end but I didn't have time, I already had the sprite done. I'm definitely going to continue this project.

I defeated the Minotaur, it took me three attempts, good victory music, I discovered an attack pattern to be able to evade everything on the screen, good boss battle.

At first it was quite difficult to recognize which ones were ready to be harvested. I achieved a score of 1200 (I really tried hard). The music and effects are very good. The sprites are really like those from the NES. I really liked the animations; they were perfect. P.S.: Cows hate me.

The last level was an epic boss battle. It took me three attempts to beat the game, but seeing the plot twist at the end was definitely worth the effort.excellent level design I loved it.

I didn't know this Greek dish (it reminds me of tacos, I must try it someday), very good game with excellent music.

510 was the best score I ever got XD. I noticed how I got faster the higher my score was. I really liked the music and the theme with the Greek food. Also, from playing it so much I managed to see a bug. I think it was because I took the order so quickly that the next one didn't show me what the npc wanted. But I didn't understand what the timer was for.

You were the first to try my first game, I'm going to try your submission to the One Button Jam, P.S. Sorry for taking so long to respond, I'm still a bit shy, everyone here is very kind with the feedback.

The art style is directly inspired by the NES games. I'm the one who should thank you for giving me the opportunity to use this character again(https://hanaharukaze.itch.io/bugcatchergirl) . I really wanted to continue with this idea and your jam was perfect for this. I hope it can be repeated in the future.

That's right, thank you very much for your patience. I'll add the information to the page right now. By the way, I also added that it works with controllers, but I think only the Xbox  works on the web in Windows. I'll see how to get the generic ones to work. pd:I didn't have time to add the HP feature for the player.

I'm so sorry, I was in such a hurry that I forgot. I'll add it to the game's page right away. I'm still a bit of a noob at itch.io. The game also works with an Xbox controller, by the way.

I really like Shot 'Em Up and NES graphics, so when I discovered Kaiju Jam I thought it would be a great combination. I still have to finish polishing the gameplay, thank you very much for the comment. When Kaiju Jam is finished I'll start playing and reviewing the submissions.

Thank you so much, I really tried hard, I only discovered the jam when there were only 6 days left and I'm so sorry, I was so rushed on several things that in the end I couldn't finish implementing all the features (there's no HP), and I left it as a prototype.

I hadn't noticed how the big enemies look on the web, thanks. I love the aesthetics of NES games, so all my games are based on their graphical restrictions. They're just prototypes of ideas I have, but this is the one I've liked the most so far.
