You need to finish the prologue to get that cg. When you start the game, don't skip the prologue but pick a bottom choice to play it. To my understanding CG's are saved globally so if you will do it by starting a new game it should still unlock on your gallery

Without going into spoiler territory, there are two ways how Aida will get pregnant. Main protagonist being a father if player is on Aida's route is just one possible scenario. There are already some global scenes and optional events (like MC scenes) which covers the topic of Aida's pregnancy a bit more for players who are not on her route. We intend to add even more context and hints about it in the future scenes
Well, considering this is a non-commercial passion project we're doing in our free time we don't want to overpromise specific schedules as we have irl stuff on top of working on this project. You can check the progress of the routes and scenes implemented through development journals. When the new build drops, we've been listing which scenes are a part of new builds. The game has new builds every three months - each January, April, July and October. Okisho's side route just started, so it may take some time
Thank you so much! Hell yeah, Matsuri is the most ambitious scene we did so far. The scope of it is on the completely different level, with each variant being its own thing feeling like a separate scene on its own, with so many different subplots, callbacks, references, character appearances, reactivity and the like. It's the scene that has a huge replay value, so hopefully it should deliver on its premise about giving players enough content to support multiple playthroughs regardless of the route they're pursuing
As I already said before, the game isn't designed around changing sizes whenever you want via Debug Mode. This feature exist for a different purpose and some of the scenes might not work correctly as they have unique assets which depends from a correct size being set that is available through just playing the game and unlocking sizes as it was intended.
Beach scene on Aida's arc will work only on size 3.
Shopping scene and Kanagawa arc will work only on size 4.
Alright, this error is most likely tied to outfits. Have you used Debug Mode and changed character's size? These two scenes you mentioned have outfits that are very specific to sizes they appear and they won't appear properly without a correct size being set. The beach scene is set during size 3, and shopping scene and the entire Kanagawa arc happens on size 4. If you for some reason changed size you have to set it back to correct sizes. Then the scenes should work
As Jaded John has mentioned, Windows has a Snipping Tool feature. Maybe it will work this way?
Screenshot of the error would help us a lot to determine how we could help you solving this issue, but if you can't upload it I have a few followup questions for which answers may at least give us a good estimate
- Could you say on which scene this error is appearing? (You can see a scene number on the map menu when you're picking the scene number like PRG003, alternatively the full title visible on the lower corner during scene would do too)
- Does this error happens at the start of the scene or somewhere during it? Could you at least say where this error appears?
- Could you say on which route this error appears to you?
- What is the number visible on the title of the Growth Academy app?
- Have you used debug mode to change size?
The game has sometimes unique dialogue that relies on player's attributes, affection points with X characters, played scenes, made choices, met characters and the like. What you described is a skill check behind Academics attribute. If you would meet a certain condition (in this case having a certain amount of Academics points), you would see an additional line. No need to worry, they are not designed to lock from experiencing core story or anything like that
Thank you for kind words
As for your reported issue, could you paste this error here or attach a screenshot showing it?
There was one issue that might have been the same you had that we already fixed in a hotfix that was released a few hours after we published the build (you would need to just redownload the game), but without seeing said error it's hard to say if it's the thing I mentioned
The discussion was about one scene - PRG060. This issue only happens in case if you had a different size set via Debug mode than size 4 aka the size on which this scene should have been played
But it's also worth to note that changing sizes in Debug mode instead of having them progressing naturally through experiencing the story and just playing scenes can lead to errors like one mentioned by the OP as not every size will have the same outfits as their appearance can sometimes by specific to scenes where they're supposed to appear
Thank you! As for your question, you haven't missed anything. Due to complexity of some checks, the game looks for which one to show and in some instances if there are multiple checks you have to "fail" other variants so the game could show the one that met required conditions to see it. You technically are not failing them per se, you just see a version of the check tailored to how you played the game. If I remember correctly, PRG048 had checks like this. So no need to worry, it's just the unfortunate nature of notifications showing some things that players wouldn't be aware as they happen "under the hood"
Thank you for such kind words! And to answer your question - yes, all of the characters (both major and side characters) who are behind with size ups, expressions and outfits will eventually receive them in the future build releases. Hard to give an exact eta giving the voluntary nature of the project, but rest assured, they're either planned or worked on
Are you playing this scene on size 4? This scene is intented to be played on size 4. In case if you don't, open Debug Mode on the game map and change set size to 4 and replay the scene. It should work then. Playing scenes on incorrect sizes can lead to errors like these as some scenes, including this one has unique outfits that aren't available on all sizes
You just have to download the new build and unpack it. You can feel free to remove the past build, saves are stored in a separate folder
Saves should be compatible with the newest build, unless for various development-related reasons the amount of changes in the build would essentially break that compatibility. Whenever something like this happens, we inform players about it on the dev journal
As for timeline, the game takes place over the course of the single year. It starts in early April and ends around late March (excluding epilogues, that is)
Long story short, they're for flags which are used for tracking choices, met characters, visited places, certain conditions used for unlocking scenes, etc. Debug mode not only can list them, but also allows to set them manually but these functions won't really give anything to end user as they exist primarily for development purposes. The things that are more useful for end user is the ability to play any scene you want (if you know their code name), tracking / setting affection points and skill points or changing size. Bear in mind though that messing with it can lead to errors if you don't know what you're doing
Well, you have to bear mind that GA is a volunteer-based project and we're doing it in our free time so sometimes irl can impact our pace as we have irl work, college, families and so on. We keep continuously working on the game and will always update it in 3 months, but giving specific schedules for certain projects is always tricky cause a lot of things depends on multiple constraints
Glad to hear you've enjoyed it! Rest assured, Honoka's writing staff is working on a new content for her route, so there will definitely be more BE scenes. It's always tricky to say how much content players can expect with the future updates as GA is ultimately a volounteer project we're doing in our free time. The amount of time we can spend on the game is always dependable from irl and various other circumstances. But we have a very passionate team and are very committed to completing this game
If I could also recommend something, if you want more Honoka content, I always encourage players to check MC scenes which are optional side quests outside of the main routes. Stories from these scenes are highly reactive to which route you're playing, often reference it and are aware which girl Kei is dating, but also feature appearances of the main girls. Honoka appears in a few of them and some of her segments are quite substantial (like for example in MC008 or MC013)
Well, other routes also have unique moments so I wouldn't cross out other girls. One of the key features of this game is that each route has a very different tone and are not the same experience. That's something we are really proud of as each route can offer players plenty of memorable moments you wouldn't expect and cast of characters that are much deeper and have more layers than it looks on a first glance
As for completion sake, Shiori's route is also completed and has over 100 scenes. Her writer also plans to extend it by optional scenes, but critical path is already fully playable, including multiple endings. Akira's route is also close to the end. Naomi, Honoka and Aida are over halfway long of their planned storylines
Yes, you won't be able to play each of the routes simultaneously on a single save. It's a deliberate choice on our end. Each of the main routes are about Keisuke's romance with a girl of player's choice. We don't have plans for harem stories. While the early parts of the game allows you to play scenes from each route and get a feel and tone of route's characters, after making your choice to commit to relationship, other routes will remain locked. The girls from each of these routes are still a part of your route and optional events (crossover scenes with other girls, special scenes, MC scenes with events focused on main character's slice of life or RM events which are focused more on learning more about the lore with Kei's roommate Daichi), but the main story will always be focused on a romance with a girl you picked
