Like others have said, the presentation of this game is really top notch. The art is beautiful and the different styles mesh together well and really sell the narrative. There were some spelling mistakes and a few characters that didn't render, but it didn't take away from the experience much. Great job!

Very creative concept! Moving around the exterior of rooms makes for a very rewarding sense of toying around in places you shouldn't be. Some of the puzzles were real stumpers in a good way.

I like the idea and some of the puzzles and their solutions were super creative! The controls were rather frustrating, though and led to a few "oh, I know the solution... but just can't execute it!" moments. I wish you could impart more momentum as the circle, or move more than a tiny nudge as the other shapes.

Lovely art. Just begging fora gentle, relaxing bg tune.

The controls were a little too floaty for me, and I think I broke the game by flying outside the map (pic attached) But otherwise I really enjoyed this entry! hatching feels like a good fit for the theme, the art is really cute, and the overall vibe and total presentation is solid. Great job :)

The xp bar overfilling with gold xp is actually intentional! It was supposed to be Salary Man becoming overflowing with experience :) I maybe could have communicated that a little better.

The arrow key scrolling was definitely not though,  I'll try and fix that in an update after the rating period. Thanks for the feedback!

This was so cute! I loved it.

Thanks for the review! This is the first full game I have ever programmed, and if we had more time we definitely would have expanded the map and puzzle aspects. But by the last day as the time limit approached, the team chose to focus on bug fixes and polish instead, and didn't get to it. I'll consider updating with more complexity after the voting period.

And thank you for playing :)

Super confused about how the timed blocks work and I couldn't figure out level 2, but I kind of really dig the whole block-based mechanics and the presentation. Reminds me a lot of playing games on my TI-83+ calculator in the back of class :)

I think this idea is a winner but hard to tell without a bit more level content, which I'd love to see! Solid representation of theme.

Love the presentation and feel. I would love to see this expanded on with separate puzzles/ciphers that connect! I found it tough to keep the client open long though due to the extremely short musical loop. Even an additional bar would have gone a long way! I ended up "playing" the game mostly with the client closed. Super interesting submission!

Solid submission! Fun and frantic gameplay that met the theme. Could really use a death screen/animation, even something basic like "You died! Retrying..." Great job :)
