Yeah, sorry for that lol, we tried to focus more on the platforming and level design, that we didn’t end up adding a fail state when you jump off the map (also didn’t end up documenting a debug reset button (F6) in the build we published).

I tried my best with the level design, but wasn’t able to make enough play testing and tweaks. The sword does not have a use, but we did plan a combat system for the character. Just time and exhaustion to the end of the jam made us unable to have a good build to publish.

But we did have lots of fun developing and playing the game! It is the first for the team, and we hope to one day release some sort of demo since we also are seeing lots of potential in the idea!

The flowers and 3D modeling was made by Yeneo https://x.com/yeneomon

LOL, sorry for that! This was a very early build of our project, since we wanted to at least provide something to the jam. I did my best to create a level design that felt good to navigate, but without a lot of time to make game testing, it ended up a bit rough, and we didn’t have time to add an objective to the game.

Also, there is a debug reset button (F6), but we didn’t document it… sorry!

The 2D artwork was made by Keiko https://www.instagram.com/michi_koifish/ and the 3D by Yeneo https://x.com/yeneomon, they are very talented, and it is an honor working with them.

We hope to finish at least a demo of the in the near future, since everyone in the team had lots of fun playing the game and specially the platforming!

We had lots of fun playing the platforming bits of the game, and it was the main drive to at least publish this very early build of the game. Our main aspiration is Hollow Knight, and we want to hopefully make a small metroidvania demo using this movement system, with a little more polish around the edges of course.

Glad you liked and feel it has potential! We do want to hopefully make some demo with the free time our team has, participating in the jam was tiring, but it ended up giving us something with potential to work during the future!

Thank you for the review and for the comment! We want to hopefully one day finish the game, or at least a small demo, since everyone had lots of fun playing the game, specially with the platforming.

The art style was chosen by Yeneomon https://x.com/yeneomon and Keiko https://www.instagram.com/michi_koifish/, it is an honor having them and, hopefully with more time, they can truly show their full potential in the art style.
