If you click on "More information" on the assets' page, it'll have AI Assisted listed

thanks for playing! the bounces were one of the things that took the longest to get right, so it's not a surprise it's not totally there yet. I'm glad you still enjoyed it despite that tho

Fun collection of minigames. My least favorite was the somersault one, simply because I didn't realize I had to move within the wheel. Same with the fishing one, I didn't realize I needed to use the scroll. Some instructions before each minigame would be nice; you don't wanna make your players leave the game to know what to do. Overall though, this was pretty fun, and I loved the easter eggs

The game is fine, but I wish you didn't use AI-"assisted" images for the character

Good use of the theme, but I think it's a little underbaked. Something like a highscore would really help it feel more like a game rather than simply a simulator, despite the name. Something that makes the difficulty rack up would also have been nice for that, and some ambience music would make the experience more enjoyable

I thought the controls were kinda wonky and there should have been instructions in-game. There was also a big top that spawned on top of me, which I think was an oversight. Needed a bit more time in the oven, but it's not horrible

Fun game, tho I think some quick instructions would have helped. I didn't understand I had to pick the moves for like a minute and thought my game was broken lol. I also think focusing more on tight windows and harder sequences rather than moving buttons would make harder moves more interesting. Maybe it's just because I don't play many rhythm games but those were basically impossible. I'm also thankful to not have wrist problems, otherwise the spinning mouse would have been rough lol

Overall, not bad, but a bit more polish would make it a lot more enjoyable

The strategy I used was to have a tentacle on the top and one on the bottom and just kinda hope I made enough whirlpools to sink the ships lol. Ended up losing only once in the last level. I think the whirlpool mechanic is very cool and unique, but it felt hard to really control it. Good game, but could use some retouching

The controls were a bit rough and the deafening silence brought down the experience. That said, the physics were great, a really good and minimalist execution of the spinning top concept. Good enjoyment overall

I couldn't beat the game but I still enjoyed myself, which may be quite good praise lol. The mimicking of old kaiju movies gives this a great aesthetic that makes it quite enjoyable. I did find getting off the map kinda punishing since I couldn't accelerate fast enough to get out, which led to quite a few deaths. Other than that, great game

Very fun game, though I think it was a tad too easy. With a bit more challenge, this could be even better. But I still enjoyed myself!

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The game should probably have a tutorial and some ambient music. It was confusing getting the trebuchet to work at first. I can see it being pretty fun tho

That was a really fun puzzler. If you had more time, I would have loved to see more levels, this was very creative. Props to you and your partner

The controls didn't work half the time and it also shows why rhythm games have indicators of beat. It's really hard to make moves on time when you don't have a clue what the time it. The idea is solid, but the execution could be better

Def could have more levels, because what's in it so far is very promising

The design is really cool to look at, but I feel like the luck is too punishing. There's so many lose spots that no one can get any bones for quite a while, so I just gave up

Also, I think this is unintentional, but at one point The Skewer had 10 bones and couldn't lose 15 because they didn't have enough

(1 edit)

the game bugged for me at one point. the floor only rendered once I stepped on it and there weren't any obstacles

edit: also the game was very slow to me. the velocity of the character was just not enough to jump over the obstacle

A free Windows or Linux arcade-style game released as part of The Very Serious Juniper Dev Game Jam.

Control the king of transport, the Wheel, fighting against aircrafts who think they're too good for you! By charging and then releasing into a quick dash, you can destroy them and score points. How far can you go? How much will you score?

Have fun!

That was amazing! My only complaint is that I wanted to play it longer lol. If this doesn't place high, I'm gonna be upset

I really enjoyed this game! I think it could be a full game with enough time. I do wish the visuals didn't get pixelated in fullscreen on browser, because they're really pleasing

The concept is amazing and I enjoyed myself a lot. I do think the items should be gravity-locked onto the cursor globally instead of in relation to the player. That was confusing to understand at first

I've made a TTRPG before and published it here on Itch.io, plus I've made an unpublished game just to figure out Godot. But no published video games yet. Would that make me eligible for the Best First Game award?

the theme is Growth

it's just been announced on the jam's Discord server

idk if or when it'll be announced here or on other platforms tho. first time participating

1. Y'all can call me Grey! My pronouns are she/her or they/them.

2. I love medieval fantasy RPGs, but have tried and enjoyed others. Don't have a favorite system currently.

3. It's my first competing here! I saw it hadn't started yet, so I wanted to give it a go.

4. I want this to be the first RPG I actually complete. I have tried before, but never got to play testing, and the one time I did, I gave up soon after. I really hope to complete this one tho!
