I do have a question though, if I wanted the tooltip to be conditional, how would I go about that? Say, if after the player has progressed far enough into the game, I don't want the word "elf" to show tooltips anymore because they've become familiar with the term, how do I avoid triggering the tooltip?

The artwork is very cute, the story is compelling so far. I was confused at the results of some choices, but I'm going to refrain from pressing since this is a demo, thus, I do not have the full context of the story - it might make more sense later.
"Ren" is very cute, it's quite interesting how he wants to mold himself to suit your tastes, or rather, what he believes will suit your tastes. When you express interest in "dark" styles, his confusion is compelling and endearing both. I'm curious about his true (?) self and the glitching (and fourth wall breaking?) elements, as well as the childhood memories thing.
I like the gameplay mechanic of the social media screen, with the statuses and such. It's an interesting way to see how the story is going and seeing your affinity with the characters.
All of that shat said, I thought the jumpscare was a bit too goofy, I'm sorry ahahahaha. I wasn't scared, it just sort of broke my immersion and made me laugh. The dialogue leading to "dead ends" was interesting though - very curious about it.

i'm in my "recently single and wish i had a partner again but i know i'm not ready yet" era, so basically..... i've been playing dating sims nonstop. then i started going for the horror vns too (it seems whenever i reach a stage of depression i go for horror media LOL) and then i was like... hey... what if i MADE a horror vn.....and it's also a monster romance from the point of view of the monster (｀▽´ )!!!
i'm no stranger to python due to my job, plus i've been making art and writing as a hobby for over a decade... so it has all the ingredients to be a good recipe. i do hope i get to make at least one complete vn this year, even if its got only sketches for art (˶ˆᗜˆ˵) i dunno if it'll happen, but regardless, i'm having a grand time playing the stories other people have made~
I truly adored this. I found the narrative flowed so smoothly, not loredumping me, but still giving me enough information to get to know the world from the available information alongside context. I think it did a superb job at that. The love interests were so great, I wish I could have had more time with them before their "big decisions" (out of pure selfishness, ha).
I liked the bittersweet aspect of Yiestol's and Brattan's routes, especially the latter. All three routes were very sweet, beautiful and romantic in their own way, this was a really nice experience, and I am so glad I picked this up ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
Such a sweet story. It was a little funny, the contrast between being normal nice and polite to him over being careless and rude. Like night and day - granted, I could not bring myself to finish my "asshole run", I just felt too bad, Heimos is a sweetie pie, I can't bring myself to do it ahahahhaaa. coming back after purchasing and playing the dlc. wow!!! as expected, the extra content is also very charming and artwork was gorgeous, with the same attention to detail - if not more - than the base game. i enjoyed the new endings i got and grimmy has taken permanent residence in my brain (and refuses to pay rent...). color me smitten! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
i loved this very much. almost teared up by the end, too. very cozy, very charming. alien overlord babygirl is very cute, very affable and i loved playing farming sim with egen. i liked the aesthetic, very lovely artwork, however i was happy to be able to change the font to one a little easier on my eyes. i had a lot of fun. ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
this was great. very charming, i loved the minigames too. very enjoyable, highly recommend. i had a lot of fun and grimmy is very cute. i dont normally enjoy "teasing" in dating sims because i feel it ends up being too childish for me, but i thought here it achieved a nice balance, it didn't try too hard, it was very lovely. very charming. ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
