Yeah, I really wanted to add more interactive enemies, cutscenes, and dynamic environments such as moving platforms, hidden walls, etc. The thing that stopped me from all that was mostly me learning how to use the GameMaker engine and being limited on time.

I am just glad that I got a game out at the very least, which was my original goal for this jam. Thanks for taking the time to play my game, even if it did not have much to offer. I'm still learning and enjoying the engine so far, and hopefully  I will make more games that are complex and fun for you and others to enjoy!

Absolutely amazing! Brilliant gameplay, amazing art, awesome sound design, and amazing game that was built in only three days! 5/5 go get that bag!

I gotta hand it to you guys. Awesome job! I love the use of SFX as a core component of the gameplay, the art is so cute and beautifully drawn, and this game being built in three days is absolutely cinima for what it is. Love it and can only wish for more games! 5/5 would get glitched so hard that I lose my voice again.

I think this game could definitely be a prototype as module or the main mechanic for spider-man like game. Definitely would be more enjoyable or annoying (if that is the route you want to take) if it had sound-effects or at least background music (pizza time comes to mind). Definitely a good start for a potential game. For SFX, I recommend Labchirp. For music if you like to make your own, I recommend BeepBox. Both are free and can be used for non and commercial games. I am not sponsored btw just really like these tools.

I really like the integration of the chase bug being the main mechanic of the game. Really wish that there was SFX or background music as they would have definitely made the game more enjoyable; however, being that this was made in three days, I say you did a really good job. I highly recommend LabChirp for SFX and BeepBox for making music (both are free/I am not sponsored, just really want to recommend them). Like I said, great job and keep going!

Love the art and gameplay. I think you did great at interpreting the theme. Very impressive for being built in three days! SFX and music were great additions and added to the overall game feel. You got something special here! Great job!

I definitely see this being a whole lot of fun with friends and family. I unfortunately am alone and only played as a solo experience but definitely enjoyable. I think adding some sound effects and background music would make this game so much more enjoyable. I recommend boombox for making music and Labchirp for SFX (both are free for non- and commercial use). Great job! Keep going!

I like the gameplay, and for being built in 3 days, it was enjoyable. I share the sentiment that some sound effects or even background music would be really nice alongside some visuals to represent the empire you are building, but for a game built solo in three days, good job! Hope for more to come!

Really neat game! Such a fun game with a very simple premise. I thought you did a great job!

Cool game! Took me a little bit to fully understand what I was doing, but I like the concept. I think it was neat using coins as the projectiles but also as currency to buy secret upgrades.  Definitely makes you think about each move! I had fun!

Man I know you already have a lot of comments about the art but I cannot help gush over it! It looks I just got into a medieval manuscript. The music with its rising tension to give the player goosebumps just blends so well. The gameplay though seemingly simple innovates on the "Paper please" by giving out the Tarot cards for us to interpret which I personally feel is so creative.

Man did I just go back to when arcades dominated the gaming scene? Awesome game, man! Love the visuals and that music goes so hard on my nostalgic brain of 8-bit music.

I wish I would've added controller support. It's so easy to add, just was at the back of my mind while working on this game. I did implement Coyote Time in the jumps, but the setting might not have been set enough to make a visible difference.

Thank you for the feed back and for playing!

Thank you for the feedback!! Funny you mention a double jump... there wasn't one implemented. If you are double jumping, that's a bug and is probably why it's difficult! LOL.

Thank you for playing!

LOL! Sorry about that! Thanks for playing.

Thank you for playing! What issues did you run into? I know that there was a bug with the player not being able to jump when the button is pressed.

Haha! Full screen is a plus! Thanks for playing

Glad you liked the game! I'm glad you found "unintended" ways to beat the level. That was part of our design process! We didn't want to tell the player how to beat each level... we wanted them to think of how to beat the levels in any way they could!

As for the jumping bug, that's strange. I hadn't run into that while testing it myself. Definitely will need more play testers for the future. Coyote time was implemented, but perhaps not set to the correct length of time.

Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much! We're glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing and the feedback.

I love you guys' interpretation of the theme. The gameplay was definitely something I never seen before much less I actually get to play. Overall, I had a great time with it!

Awesome game! Loved the little references to other games and anime sprinkled throughout. Will you guys be continuing to work on this game or will you use it as experience for your next project? Either way, I thoroughly enjoyed my time!
