In this topic, I will share with you bits of my work process, ideas and pictures related to my VN.

Yesterday, I came up with an idea for a short game. It will be a dating sim with a little twist. The main character... Can you guess, who he is?

Nice little thing! Gameplay is quite enjoyable, graphics are a bit inconsistent, but funny (I especially like the web, shooting from spider's butt animation). Good job!

Why can't I take friends to the park as well?! And I didn't figure out how to use weapons or spells in this game... 10/10

Touching story and great atmpshere, the concept of being absolutely alone, in the middle of infinite space, with nothing, but AI as your companion... This feels sad, scary and somehow exciting at the same time. Great work!

Thank you very much for this deep and wholesome feedback! I am truly grateful and happy to recieve such an inspiring comment to my humble creation! Best of luck to you!

High quality artwork there! Character sprites are so expressive and dynemic! And I love this unique coice of colors! Gameplay is cool too, but as a visual novel fan, I wish it was a spider dating sim instead hahaha. Auntie looks absolutely adorable!

The story didn't make much sense, but it was cute and light-hearted! Interactions with the shopkeeper are hilarious! I really like dialog-based games, best of luck completing this one! You're doing great! <3

I am always trying to draw/write stuff that makes people uneasy and uncomfortable.  So... It was my conscious intent to tell a bit of a sick story. ) I am really glad to recieve your feedback! Thank you a lot!

Oh, thank you! Hahaha, yeah, I didn't have much time to plan out the story, I seriously thought, that I wouldn't be able to finish this game at all. But I chose to sacrifice my sleep schedule to spiders... And  - voila! Thank you again for your detailed feedback!

This game is so adsurd, funny and kinda creepy too? Man, those penguins are hiding something... Probably my fav game on this gamejam so far <3

Cozy visuals and very nice gameplay concept. It's easy to grasp, but presents a good amount of challenge as you keep playing.  Nice job! <3

Such a cozy little game! The world looks very beautiful and full of love! I wish I could see a close-up of Pogo in his bowtie, though... Thank you for this amazing submission! It's nice to see another narrative-centered game too.

Good idea, but controls are quite difficult to get used to. Which makes the game difficult in the wrong way. Really like the atmosphere and cute premise, though! <3

Music is nice! The main concept is simple yet work well!

Very cute and addictive little game! I always get hooked on how-long-can-you-last-kind-of-gameplay.

Graphics and sounds are supernice too! Great work <3

Made a short visual novel for Minijam!

It's about spiders and poetry and, possibly, murder. It's ready to be played and has 3 endings, but some things are not polished and will be fixed soon.

I'm planning to add more choices and user interactions as well as new endings, but I will be glad to recieve some feedback on a current version too.

If you share screenshots of your favorite lines and moments, that would be great as well!

Thank you!

I understand, that visual novels are  more of a literature genre, but they are games still.

Thank you for your attention and nice words! I hope, that all the participans of this gamejam will find projects, that they like. :3

Thank you very much! Your kind words mean a lot <3

Thank you for such an inspiring, sweet, and positive comment! I am endlessly grateful and smile from ear to ear! Your silent walkthrough is great and very useful, too. I will send it to friends who (for one reason or another) can't play the game itself.

I am planning to make more games in the future, so-o, yeah, stay tuned! :3

Big thanks for your kind words and meaningful feedback! I am deeply touched and - honestly! - quite flattered! Watching your letsplay was a true pleasure <3 I've really enjoyed your comments and reactions!

I know, that my game can get a bit annoying/stressful at times! Hopefully, you'll forgive me for this little experiment.

Cheers for cats and dogs and lovecraftian gods!

You can't imagine how happy I am to receive not only great feedback but an amazing letsplay as well! Thank you a lot! "I welcome death" part made me laugh! Also - your voice-acting for Tilda is truly adorable. <3

I am sorry for being such a little sadist, introducing all those typing and spelling exercises into a simple Visual Novel...

Hey-hey! I made a game about my real-life pets (called Tilda and Howard Fluffcraft). This game is very short and experimental, but I am really happy with how it turned out! The story includes an ancient relic, dark magic, a Goddess from space and silly little jokes.  Please. don't hesitate to play and leave a comment! Thank you in advance.

Премного благодарю! Мне очень лестно! <3

Going UP!

Thank you very much! <3

I don't use it very often, but I do have an account, yes.  Gargoolia#5740

Greetings! My name is Julia and I am currently looking for job offers. I can do lots of stuff - from character & monster design to backgrounds, comics, and card illustrations. I would be happy to become a part of your game development team. I already have some experience in making backgrounds and sprites for visual novels, but I'd do great as an artist for almost any 2D game. I like drawing Lovecraftian horrors, medieval/fantasy stuff, mythological creatures, and crazy abstractions.
