Yes but was that before or after the deadline?

The game is really cool, but is not polished well. If you do more than one round, the judging phase completely breaks, skipping your later masks and showing your first one. Also, the rating algorithm is definitely not the best. Overall it was a really enjoyable experience though and just keep jamming to create an even more awesome experience next time!
I would love for you to rate my game too btw :D
It is an awesome game for novice. I think the idea behind this is pretty cool and the execution of it is also not too shabby. I just think you should invest into more options. Like, after 3-4 faces you basically know what is what and it just gets boring really quickly. Overall, just keep jamming and I am sure that you guys will create great games in the future!
I would love for you to rate my game too btw :D
I am not sure what to think of this. I know you submitted in novice, but like, this feels like close to no effort was invested into this game. There isn't even some kind of scoring system and I have to install pygame on my system to play the game. Is there any reason why your game has so little content? No matter what, stay jamming and next time you'll definitely create a better game.

For novice, this is acceptable. But it is very difficult to figure out how to play this and the UI scaling breaks on larger screens. Also the intro cutscene (if there actually is one and it's not just sound) did not play for me. Overall an ok novice entry, but you definitely need to practice before your next jam. (And do keep jamming, you'll only improve and the idea for this game wasn't even bad)

I really really like the artstyle and general idea of the game. It is sadly really unpolished and I couldn't even finish it because I got completely stuck. I see that this was submitted in novice though, so I believe you still have a long way to go until you can make really great games in such a short time. Keep jamming and you will steadily improve!
I would love for you to rate my game too btw ^^
I liked the art style, but the game doesn't feel really good to play. On a 1440p screen, your text becomes so incredibly small, that it is almost impossible to make out. At the same time the camera is following the player in both a weird way and at a different framerate than the physics engine, so it weirdly laggs behind. I understand that this is a novice game, but for me this game was sadly almost unplayable. I hope you learn from this jams mistakes for your next jam! Keep jamming and your games will continue to improve.
Even though this was a more negative review, I would still like you to rate my game too ^^
This game is definitely a great entry into the jam. Even though it doesn't feel too polished and especially the first room was difficult to understand what to do, I think it works as a game and has a good story, even though a good bit more polish would have done wonders.
I would love for you to rate my game too btw :D
I think the game looks pretty good and the gameplay idea is very solid too. But I think it was a bit frustrating because of hitboxes. It was almost impossible to navigate at all when not using the wall mask, but when you finally got through a tight fit you just run right into the enemy. That was a bit frustrating. For novice, this is a great game tho.
Btw I would appreciate, if you could rate my game too :)
I think the concept itself has a lot of potential, but it is not that well implemented. It can feel frustrating at times, especially when there's bullets etc. and when, as others mentioned, you always jump at full strength. But I must say, for a novice game this is awesome.
Btw I'd be happy if you could review my game too ^^
You sadly won't be able to change it, if your game is web-only, because you can only have one web build uploaded at a time and your original jam version mist stay accessible. After the rating period is over, you can change it to your hearts content. As a temporary solution, you could write on the games page, what browsers it is compatible with. ^^
Hope that helps and happy new year!
Thank you so much!
I achieve the effect using a custom shader. It is a copy of the standard URP lit shader. In the main rendering pass, I calculate the worldspace distance of each pixel to the nearest "lightsource" and determine if it should be the inner filter, outer filter or ring. To let the shader know where the lights are, I update a global shader variable with the lightcount and two compute buffers with the positions and radii of the lights. Hope that helps!
