The Project: Project Cece 🔥
We’re crafting an epic tycoon game about building a massive retail empire called “Cece”! 🎉 The concept is a hilarious satirical take on the urban myth that a certain major cola company once sprinkled with a special “white powder” in its products. 😏
The story follows a quirky fox who is extremely passionate about his struggling beverage brand and decides to skyrocket profits the easy way! 🦊 Players will dive into the challenge of growing their empire by mastering logistics, marketing, and employees, all while dancing through the moral grey areas of business. It’s a management/tycoon sim bursting with dark humour and deep strategy! Are you ready to cook? 🍳💥
Current Project Status 📈
To provide you with an update on our progress, we have already prepared a detailed Game Design Document (GDD) and stunning pieces of concept art, ready to go! 🎨
Our Team & Visual Style 👥
The core team consists of me (a developer and project manager) and a highly skilled 2D artist who’s crafting a vibrant, cartoon-inspired visual style for the game. 🌈 Drawing on my previous experience, I’ll be leading the charge, jumping in where needed, and hunting down publishers and potential funding to make this a smash hit! 💪
Who We’re Looking For 🔍
We’re on the hunt for dedicated collaborators to join us on a revenue-share basis! To keep it real, we’ll use a fair, documented revenue-share agreement based on your contributions, ensuring everyone’s hard work gets rewarded big time! 💰
- Programmers: We need multiple rockstar programmers to build out the core game mechanics and systems in Unity. Experience with simulation or tycoon games? That’s a massive plus! 🛠️🕹️
- 2D Artists: We’re seeking creative 2D artists to help expand our vibrant, cartoon-inspired visuals, including characters, environments, and UI elements. If you have a flair for satirical and humorous styles, we’d love to see your portfolio! 🎨✨

Your background in building systems, procedural generation, emergent gameplay, and Unity mods (like those for Hollow Knight and others) sounds like a perfect fit for what we’re building. About Project Cece
We’re developing Project Cece, a satirical tycoon simulation game where you manage a soft-drink empire with a “special ingredient” inspired by urban myths about major cola brands. Play as a quirky fox founder turning a bankrupt company into a global powerhouse through research, factory scaling, marketing, and dodging regulators. It’s got dark humor like Two Point Hospital and depth like Cities: Skylines.
- Core Gameplay: Open-ended sandbox with supply chains, dynamic demand, “heat meter” for law enforcement thrills, and balancing reputation vs. legal risks.
- Visual Style: Vibrant, hand-drawn cartoon aesthetics with bold outlines and fizzy animations.
- Tech Stack: Built in Unity 6.0 LTS, using Git, Krita, and FMOD. Targeting Windows, Linux, and Steam Deck.
- Timeline: Aiming for MVP soon, followed by 6-month polish for commercial release.
- Team: Core group including developers, 2D artists, SFX experts, and me (Ivan) as lead with prior game dev experience. We’re based in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, but fully remote-friendly.
We have a detailed Game Design Document, concept art, and a clear roadmap ready. Your skills in Unity APIs, OpenGL, quaternions, matrices, and implementing mechanics would be invaluable for core systems like physics, UI, and potential multiplayer expansions.
