You must decrease post processing effects. Also I would reduce antialising.

By the way, most of this equipment was in the template. I didn't make it. I just used it, filtered it, etc. I mostly made the story, the first level, putting the enemies etc, used free assets to assemble the spaceship (yes the structure is a spaceship) and the intro. Also, of course, a lot of research to find the proper items, etc. It sounds easy, but it's tough. But still, not all credits go to me. Most of the credits go to the template maker.

Ok, great to hear! I am so happy you enjoy. You are giving me insane vibes of good energy. You are almost there. So if you killed the archnoids, then you can see the stairs in front of the fire of the engines. You have to get in and solve the small puzzle (nothing much but it has a twist in the story and is interesting).

Waiting for your input :)

This is an adventure in real life on its own!

Also I cannot say how much I am sorry it messed it up. By the way this software you are mentioning sounds a lot like x360ce I told you about.

I am waiting patiently for your feedback :).

Unfortunately, I don't think I will work on the eoiside 1 any more, I have to concentrate to the next, but nevertheless, it is interesting for me to hear.

Oh, nice to hear. Waiting to hear what happened and if you have enjoyed... By the way, I am not a developer and I made the game alone, so don't keep your expectations very high.

Ok, interesting. Let me know... I got an official reply from the tmeplate maker (though it has to do with unreal engine): "it should be XBox Controller, some old controllers and ps controllers won't work".

Ok, this is astonishing. I am using Unreal Engine. So if you ever configured your controllers successfully for Unreal Engine games, then I guess something similar would work for mine, too.

Can you give me more info? Is it that it doesn't recognize the controllers at all, or are they working strangely?

I will try to make a test this afternoon after work. Maybe I will find something.

Oh I see. I have an old one which I have to use with x360ce, logitech rumble or something and it has its own hub. Then I also have 2 others that are supposed to be used with PC & PS and they only work with cable (at least I managed to use them only with cable). I am not really an expert on these things and I don't like using gamepads. My kids though, don't agree with me... LOL. Initially, the game was made for my kids, which is why I had to remove blood from everywhere. Steam is not running when I connect. Again, really thanks for your good words. I believe it is the first time someone told me things like you did...

Well thats a very very nice comment. I am not sure why the gamepad is not working. I have 3 different ones and all of them work. Try to connect it before running the game. I used a template (defender) for this game and at the time it wasn't possible to remap the keys. It is though a good idea. The second episode will be point n click, so for the moment will not spend more time on the first one. Waiting your review! Thanks a lot!

This is just awesome! Could easily be one of my favourite games. Maybe you could think of releasing it in android somehow?

Thanx a lot! I hope it will be as good as you expect

Congratulations for your effort. I am going to try as soon as possible. It looks awesome from the screenshots. Now I need to find some time to play it.

Thanks! Trying to push it it as much as possible

Can You Save Earth from the CV-546 Crisis?

The antidote to the deadly CV-546 vaccine disaster was on its way back from Mars—until the mission crashed in Earth's wastelands. Now, with limited time and growing threats, you must navigate through dangerous terrain, engage enemies, and secure the cure before it's too late!

About the Game

The ForePeakTank's Directive is a medium-paced top-down shooter built with Unreal Engine using the Defender Template. While not a long game, it offers strategic combat, engaging encounters, and a light sci-fi narrative to set the mood.

This looks nice but I have no idea how to get out...

This looks great. I am going to try it in first chance. What engine was used?

The New version is uploaded. Feel free to test and play.

Thanks Yannis. I will make sure you beta teat the next.

Hey! Thank you so much. I am happy you liked it!

Thank you, Adeptus7! Sure, I owe a lot to the template I used.

This is a remarkable effort. Needs you to dedicate some time reading but it is worth it.

Thank you @RetroGamesCouple! Maybe one day I will. In the meantime I will try to implement your feedback in a new version. Thank you for the review as well!

Can you save Earth from the devastating effects of the CV-546 vaccine?

The space mission bringing back the antidote from Mars has just crashed in the wastelands of Earth.

You are humanity's best hope...

This is the top-down shooter game I made for my kids.

I am not a programmer but I like using Unreal Engine. I found the awesome Defender Template and created this top-down shooter.

Not a very long one, but I started feeling tired, and in combination with no available free time, I had to conclude it as soon as possible or bury it along with my other projects.

Thanks to Angelo for giving me some advice that kept me going.

There is a small light story too to put you in the mood...

Thank you for playing, and I hope you enjoy!

Thanks Mate! I really appreciate it!

Nice try guys.

Nice game.

I love the fact you can play with 2 players. Little difficult but a nice one. Good work guys.

I couldn't play properly guys.

Funny but doesn't feel so robust. Nice try though.

Nice one but kind of common.

This was incredible work. Well done. Little hard to understand how to start but after you get the point it goes smoothly. Probably needed a few more instructions.
