Just played this with some friends...One of the best game's I played in a while...not a fan of the art style, but the gameplay is rock solid. I would add more enemy types and make the enemies more difficult as you get closer to the end, but other than that it's great!

This is a really fun game...more scary than fun to be honest. I played it during my stream and it actually made me yell a few times. I didn't get very far in the game but I tried my best before I had to call it quits for the time being. Soon I will try and beat this game.

Going live Day 3 Now...will be starting soon. So see ya there. Also for anyone reading this now or after the stream you can put your game in here and I'll get to playing it in the next one

Sorry for getting back to giving my thoughts so late...I'm sure you saw the stream, but this is by far one of the best game's I have played. A very difficult challenge for me, but one I enjoyed a lot. This is another title I'd pay money for!

Going live now for [DAY 2] don't worry if you miss out the video will be up for apox. 14 days after streaming!

As far as I know you can only edit the descriptions after broadcasting. Or maybe I missed it somewhere in the  software. Either way I will fix it after streaming.

I liked this one a lot. The music was awesome and I digg'd the art style. Although I sucked hard at this game it was still fun

This game was an absolute blast and is by far my favorite in the jam. PLEASE make this into a full game some day. I'd pay good money for a game like this!

This was a really fun game. Love the art style and balance of the game. This is a game I recommend you work on more after the jam. My only suggestion would be to add controller support. It has the feel of a perfectly fun laid back arcade-e kinda game!

Just a follow up post!
Streaming live right now, I will post back here each time I stream.

[DAY 1]

I have Avast Anti Virus software and it tends to block the application from running. Try running as administrator or add an exception for the program. For whatever reason it just happens with almost any unity game. Something I hope they figure out a solution to.

Thanks Moriko for playing the game! I'm glad you liked it. Me and my friend will probably work on a finished project after the 7DLR jam is over. We have talked about lots of ideas and what not, but I'll keep it a surprise until then.

I see what went wrong. I uploaded the wrong .zip for the mac build. It should be fixed now.

Thanks for the feedback! If I ever come back and work on the project more I'll most likely add a feature that let's you attack monsters...probably some way with different types of bombs.

Hey, did you extract the folder named 'Rotund Dungeon' from the .zip? Unity games wont run inside an archived folder. If it's not that get back to me and I'll see what I can do to help!

Forgot to add it lol. Here ya go!

I just finished my game and will be uploading it today...at some point.
That aside, would it be cool for me to stream the games on twitch? I probably wont be able to get through all of them but will try to do most.

Love the game-play tradeoff / risk and reward of the game! You should develop this into a full game.

Ah, this was really fun. A very meta game actually. I don't want to say anything that can possibly spoil it for other people but it has a really neat twist I wasn't expecting. And the voice acting and music choice was very niceeee!  👍

Thank you! I just recently added  a couple of fixes to make the swinging a lot easier to do on the little skellys. And if there's too much slowdown caused by the game I'll look into optimizing it more in later updates!

This was a really fun and scary game! The controls are a bit too lose but other than that everything was amazing!

Heck yeah!

Sounds awesome, I'll be sure to check it out and look for great feedback!

(1 edit)

Added a couple of new menu features last minute, but there might be some bugs still present with menu options. If there are any please feel free to throw them my way. I don't know if anyone else is having major bug problems, but I sure am...

I am nearly finished...joined early but got a bit busy. Had less then 4 days to work so hopefully my project turns out well!

I'm not really the best artist when it comes to game assets...and I was wondering if it was cool to use assets (with credit of-course) that are art related?

Just fixed the inverted controls...And also the sensitivity a bit. Hopefully it plays a lot smoother now.

Thanks for the feedback, and the critique. This is my first time making a platformer so a lot of rules on how to make it are not second nature to me yet (nor am I a great level designer).

If I do get back to working on the game I will most likely polish it up a ton and add more features (including better level design), but this was a bit of a rush to finish it in time for a game jam. The ideas you brought to me are actually really good, including the jar breaking after falling from a certain height (I did mess around with it a bit but couldn't get it to work exactly the way I wanted).

If it does get an update the very first thing to be added will be googly eyes. It's a must now.
