Hey Plywood. Check out a new gaming project that I'm starting. I'm in the WIP phase right now, but I figure you would be perfect for car designing, environmental designing, and/or ideas for keeping the project doable and managable for all of us. Here's the link to check it out:

Hey Ambnt, would you be kind to join my discord server? I'm looking for multiple artists making soundtracks for a racing game, so, if you would like to join, please join my discord:

Role: Lead Producer & Director

Engine: Unreal Engine 4/5

Status: Pre-Production / Team Building

The Vision:

I am looking to build a dedicated core team to develop a high-octane, arcade racing game that brings back the aggression of the golden era. Think the visceral takedowns of Burnout Revenge, the environmental destruction of Split/Second, and the drift mechanics of Ridge Racer Unbounded—all wrapped in a modern, semi-realistic aesthetic.

We aren't making a simulator. We are making a game where the cars look beautiful, sound fierce (Wwise), and feel heavy—right before they are smashed into a concrete divider at 150MPH.

The Twist:

To separate this from a standard arcade racer, we are introducing the "Entropy System."

In most games, the track is static. In our game, speed and aggression destabilize the environment. The higher the collective "Chaos Meter" of the race, the more the track itself begins to warp and shift. A clean lap is a safe lap, but a violent lap opens up dangerous, high-speed shortcuts that didn't exist before. You don't just race the opponents; you force the track to evolve through your aggression.

Who I Need:

I am building a collaborative team (3 people per squad) to bring this vision to life.

Coders (x3): Proficient in C++ or Blueprints (UE4/5). Focus on vehicle physics, replication (netcode), and AI behavior.

Track & Environment Designers (x3): Ability to create grey-box layouts that flow well for drifting and combat, then flesh them out with semi-realistic detail.

Car Designers (x3): Hard-surface modelers (Blender/Maya/Max) to design original, fictional manufacturers. We need muscle, tuner, and exotic archetypes with full damage models.

Lore Writers (x3): To flesh out the world, the drivers, and the fictional car manufacturer histories.

Graphic Designers (x3): For UI/UX (speedometers, menus), logos, and game branding.

Audio/Composers (x3): Electronic/Rock hybrid composers and Sound Designers familiar with Wwise for engine synthesis and impact SFX.

Playtesters (x3): To break the game, find exploits, and help tune the handling.

Lead Directors for each department: To keep track on each of the departments for the game whilst I handle other responsibilities and hobbies outside of development. I will check back every 2 weeks, to see if there are any new developments that would work well with the game.

Our Goal:

To release a polished, high-adrenaline Vertical Slice on itch.io that captures the "just one more race" feeling, with potential for further expansion based on community reception.

If you wish to reach out, reply to this message, and I will send you my discord link to discuss more details about the project.

You don't need to pay me, not at where I'm at right now.

Hey, do you want me to be another composer for your project? If so, let me know so we could talk about it.

Hello, my name is Erick, and I am a music composer specializing in making music in Openmpt with a Scream Tracker format. I make music like techno, synthpop, orchestral, and experimental songs. Check out my catalog from the modarchive in the link below, as well as hit me with a DM or email so we could collaborate on a video game project.

I want to know if this piece of music that I made would fit for a loading screen theme for a Medieval Pirate Game? If so, please reach out and tell me what you think.

Hey Call_Me_Elena,

I’m a composer working with OpenMPT and the ScreamTracker (.s3m) format, and I’d love to collaborate with indie developers looking for authentic semi-realistic sounds.

I recently looked at your prototype, and I was wondering if you wish to have a musical soundtrack in it I’m offering to create a free demo track for your prototype — especially if your project has a pixel/retro vibe. Tracks are lightweight, loop-ready, and easy to integrate.

🔊 Examples of what I can do:

  • Synthpop
  • Horror Orchestra
  • Regular Orchestra
  • Techno
  • Drum and Bass
  • Industrial Techno
  • Menu jingles
  • Atmospheric tracks

If you’re interested, drop a link to your project or DM me, and I’ll send over a custom demo track so you can hear how it fits your game.

Cheers, Esamuel19

To reiterate for those who haven't seen my post earlier. I am a music producer that is proficient in magic songs with logic pro x for artists, and openmpt for personal and potential video game and animation projects. I am available for those who wish to have my Demoscene inspired productions into their projects, for a range around $18-$25 an hour.

Take a look at my linktree to hear my catalog.

Thanks. Now I must wait for replies. (Although it won't be a guarantee, because my post has just been moved to the Help Wanted or Offered category, and I doubt that others would be able to see it, if it's not in the first page they see when they first enter into the category.)

Hello. And thank you for offering me a chance to debut myself into this itch.io community.

I am a Film Student, who does music composition on the side, that makes retro styled music inspired by the demoscene and tracker music era of the 1990s (think future crew). I use OpenMPT to create it.

If your team needs some authentic retro/arcade music for this jam, I'd love to help out.
