Now the game is free to the public. The reason for this is that I appreciate more that people can and want to play the videogame than the 5 dollars it cost.

Thank you for keep playing!

Hello, thank you very much, you are right, in this case the paladin has it a little more difficult with the first two bosses of the game due to his initial ability that is more effective against battles with 2+ enemies, but in the later levels he ends up having a greater advantage than other characters.

What catches my attention the most are the bugs you found (if there was more than one). Could you be more specific with that please, I would love to correct them.

I really appreciate your feedback.

If you like classic SNES games like King of Dragons and Final Fantasy, you might like this one. The game has a short story, and a lore behind the lines, although extensive gameplay, since it focuses more on combat strategies, studying the characters and enemies, statistics and skills.

I assure you that there is a lot of effort and dedication behind this game. It is a unique RPG game in its style, oriented more towards classic SNES games.

It looks pretty good!

I enjoy your games!

It's quite an interesting game, I loved the change in gameplay when Mei played on her computer at night.

The graphics and story are very well done, I didn't understand why in the ending that I got Mei went to take a bus? where was she going? was she going to see her cousin? did she plan to return to her mother's house? Maybe it's my fault that I got a little confused.

Loved the game :)

Thank you very much for playing and your comment, those were two aspects that I took into account when I made the game, as well as adding combat scenes in the middle of the game to make the narrative more interesting.

What ending(s) did you get?

Thank you Erin.

The game is about some of the many admirable moments in my brother's life, the choices are only made to vary the events a bit, however not to alter the ending, because it is based on real events, events that are not changeable. The dialogue that is reflected is 100% how my brother showed himself to others, that is why he was admired by many people, if it is not credible for you, I understand.

Thank you very much Thund, glad you liked it ;)

Thank you ;)

Thank you Berry B!

Thank you Ronove, The Star Stealing Prince VX was one of the first RPG Maker games I played, and your work inspired me. I also really liked your most recent project Life Eternal, you have an excellent ability for graphics and storytelling.

Thank you ! :)

Thank you Joel!

Hello Alex, I had seen your game in the submission, but now I don't see it anymore. I accessed the link of your game, apparently it is not subscribed in the jam, maybe you removed it by accident. :(

Awesome!

Sorry to hear it, hey, but you can still upload it and we'll play it

I loved the game, beautiful graphics, the characters make you feel there, and the ending very cool.

Thank you for the stars! :)

Thank you again.

Hola Coppol,

El juego está completo y actualizado, cualquier duda déjamela saber👋

I agree with everything you say Al Sin. Without a doubt what a perseverance of yours to finish the game, I already have a new version of the game in which I have corrected what you mention, now the game can be completed in 2-3 hours instead of 7-10 due to all the grinding  that was required, without a doubt you played a version that still required a lot of testing, anyway it is admirable that you were able to finish it, not even I, the developer, did so much to finish that version due to all the the effort it required.  I thank you very much, and if you want to play a much more balanced, stable and quicker version to finish, I will publish the newer version after the evaluation phase of the event ends!

Thank you sukipandi!

Hello my friend, thanks for playing my game, I agree with you on some things, for example, that the text when obtaining objects is not very noticeable, that the NPCs do not have much information to contribute, or even the great loss of gold like consequence of losing a battle.

But with all due respect my friend, it seemed that you weren't paying attention to what you were doing while playing (both in and out of the game), that you were doing it out of obligation and not out of love of art. I understand that you have to play a lot of games and that it can feel monotonous, but also remember that you are a judge, and you have that position for something, so please when you play make sure to pay attention to exploit all the mechanics of the game, this includes paying attention to the dialogues (not just reading them), and that partly because of this, you felt a bit frustrated playing the game as you didn't have enough versatility in combat or enough gold to buy items.

Based on the above, let me tell you that you did not access three menu options at any time, so you missed the class system (you could be a bit stronger and have more skill versatility by assigning yourself the Mage class as second class) , the skills learning system (with which you could learn various skills for each class), and the quest system (with which you could obtain more information about the lore of the game, rewards that would facilitate the progress of the game, and more classes with new skills to optimize to your liking and thus have even more strategies in combat).

As you can see, there were several aspects that you were looking for when playing, a little more history, more strategic battles and less monotony in the gameplay in general. Yes, I know, even with that the game could include more story and fewer battles for your liking, something that I will take into account for a future version, although it is not only about liking you, not all players are like you, and I focused this game a little more towards the mystery, in discovering little by little as the game progresses, and even with unfinished information at the end of the game, free to the interpretation of the player ...

Anyway, your intention is appreciated because you do it with the desire to help, and if there is still a little interest in you to play the game, please wait for a more polished version to be published at the end of the Game Jam evaluation phase.

Thanks, you did a good job with your game too, the mechanics and graphics are interesting.

I just watched your streaming and realized you didn't talk to the merchant at the inn … you missed a quest, a new class, and from him you could buy and sell resources, like cotton and iron, anyway I hope that you stay interested in the game and play a more stable and bigger version in terms of content as soon as I publish it. Thank you for showing it to your community!

Thank you very much for taking the time to play it, all the bugs you mention, how difficult it is to obtain some resources and leveling up, the difficulties of the enemies, especially the Druid and the final boss that the Druid did not allow you to reach, among other aspects, I already contemplated after being able to test my game several times (something that I could not do previously due to the limited time of the jam) and I already have a corrected version ready to publish after the evaluation phase of the game jam ends . Thanks for your comment.

Note: Defeating the enchanted tower rivals does not get you a new class, although it seems that way because I applied a similar event when the Mage class is obtained by defeating the corresponding opponent.

Note2: I plan to add more classes, more fun missions, and more varied hunting areas in a future release.

Cool game, nice concept!

thank you for you assets https://emmanuel-rosas.itch.io/beyond-the-star you are in the credits.

Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it.

ENGLISH (Google Translation)

It is an adventure RPG style game focused on exploration; It is inspired to some extent by the MMO game from Tibia as well as classic SNES RPG games such as Final Fantasy and Breath of Fire.

The characteristics of this game are that it maintains the style of ATB turn-based battles; by defeating enemies you get gold that can be used to buy more powerful equipment, and experience, which increases the level of the character and with it his attributes.

The game can be divided into two phases, the first which is when you have the gameplay in the town of Talín (2-3 hours), and the second which is when you are recognized as a "Legendary Warrior" and have access to other areas of the game. game, which gives up to 6 more hours of gameplay.

I must clarify that this is my first finished game, I started it when I was 15 years old and I am currently 23, with the passage of time I have made improvements to it so that it had a decent playability, but there was a long period during my studies in which I had it forgotten. I am currently developing another RPG game a bit more professional in English.

For now let me know what you think of "Talín - The adventure behind the story", and if there is a lot of demand I could release an English version, thank you.
