Just like in that case, I also “packed” the game using Enigma Virtual Box to bundle all the game files into a single executable. The main reason was to protect the integrity of Talín—I wanted to make it a bit harder for the files to be tampered with, especially after hearing stories of other indie projects being modified or broken unintentionally.
That said, I’ve learned this kind of packaging can sometimes raise red flags with certain antivirus programs, even though the game itself is completely safe. It’s frustrating, I know, and I’ll keep looking for a better balance between file protection and ease of access.
