Besides the texture, which were a driver error on my part, I only asked for more costumes (valid), interchangeable clothes (that’s coding) and I only alluded to a skinnier player model(or using the editable mobs as a PC). Hardly nitpicking, just giving some feedback.

Ah, that will do it. I have a [Intel Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics Controller]; it has incomplete support for vulkan, so I usually have to force gl.
Weird how it works fine if I launch directly, though. The problem happens when I launch it from lutris. like I said, not too important; I just like to see my playtime.
heres the error part of the log

Love the game. I saw we could edit some of the mobs and got sad when it wasn’t to play as them. Now I wont ask for you to make the player thinner, but can we at least get some good outfits? Maybe allow us to interchange the outfits? I only use the cardboard knight without the wrists and pads, sometimes the alp without the sweater and vest. I feel like alp bottoms and boots would go cheddar with cardboard’s bra.
Also, less important but, sometimes when booting up the game the T.V. and player model will be missing textures. Seems like all models will, as the models editable in the mirror were also missing textures. not the mirror though… weird. Uhhh I’m on linux and its probably a opengl problem I just haven’t sorted.
Again, love the game. Definitely in the Top 5 Best Mimic Chest scenes I’ve ever seen.
Thank you for replying. Yes, funnily enough, I just ran past her and found the save point. Then I was able to train on her til I could beat her; and, yeah, it was because of the low frames. (also, I only did it once, but she turned into a male goblin after the drain animation).
And on pausing in background. yes I mean minimized or in the background. Its not a big deal in this game I just noticed it when I first died and had to go through the intro again. Thought I’d let it play in the background, but when I came back it was still on the movie frame, and hadn’t even reached the text.
Is saving implemented? I see a save is there from character creation, but I can’t load it. (Load button greyed out). It wouldn’t matter as much if text was skip able, since I’m assuming it auto saves by level.
Also, how do a fight the archer mob? You can’t duck or jump high enough. (Could just be me, as I’m fighting lag as well.)
If vulkan support is incomplete this might help: https://itch.io/post/9730060
Other than that, a lot more info is going to be needed.
Thanks Adventurer. Had it working before though wine by itself, but couldn’t figure it out when I moved it to Lutris.
For anyone that finds themselves in my predicament:
-Go to Configure -> Game options -Then paste/type the flags “–rendering-driver opengl3” in Arguments -Save and it should run.
If it still doesn’t run (I changed other setting because I got other games to run without the flag)
-Go to Configure -> Runner settings -In Graphics: Disable DXVK & VKD3D -Then Move to Configure -> System options -Scroll down to Game execution: add “WINEDLLOVERRIDES = d3d11,dxgi=n” (no quotes)
While I don’t know if you’ll need the second part, it should help if vulkan support is incomplete.
Thanks again to Nahgg! I’ve been looking at this for a couple days; it wasn’t until I searched with the game’s name that I could find this comment.
Very nice. One thing I noticed not on the list is when equipping someone with a wearable item, 2 are taken; and when changing it, only 1 will be returned.
Really enjoy the work you’re putting out, thank you. I played the update a bit late, and just now ready to leave a bug report but see you’re still working hard. so if you’re already working on it, great; just thought I’d still let you know.
Thank you for starting off so strong; the game has huge potential. I do understand you wanting it be a more stealth like movement. I could really only think of those two ideas though.
Maybe for the NPC line of sight thing: What do you think about having a stealth/focus button (like the last of us) in place of the crouch button (that is, if you aren’t planning to add crouching)?
Also its all the guys that watch across the street. Maybe I should just run a loop before I start taking pics, but I regularly come out of the old mans shop and try to no scope a shot and WHAM eagle eyes (both on the left and the bottom sides) starts shaming me.
Will definitely be keeping up with updates though. In my opinion, it’s already one on the better non VN r18 games on itch.
Jelly Beanpoll said most of it, but I’d like to add 2 things.

What’s up with the guys with the thousand yard stare?Getting caught from across the street is hard luck.

The camera is too high. I can see fine going north, but going south has me borderline tap strafing.
I think both issues could be fixed with either a way to see the NPCs’ line of sight without having to be by a girl, OR having the camera pan a bit in front of the Player allowing them to see further. I like the second idea, but i don’t know how well it would look in action. Alternatively, the mysterious voyeur could give you something (from what I’ve seen it could be in character for her to “have eyes everywhere”)
Otherwise, loving the game; Hope you get to finish it. I have seen a few projects with related objectives get lost to limbo.
