How is it that the itch app manages to run web games on linux? (something like a installed version of https://whitefox-fcp.itch.io/still-standing) I'm assuming that it is some version of wine but nothing that i am trying seems to be working.

After messing around with the itch.io app for a while, i've decided to just download games from the website. There is only one problem: i dont know how to handle updates. Is there a way to receive a notification when a game receives an update? maybe an rss feed?

Would it be possible to make the game run in the browser? It's a bit difficult getting the game to run on linux due to the use of webview2

Is there a reason that proton support hasn't been integrated into the itch.io app? If i were to go in and attempt to add proton integration myself, what issues would I run into?
