lovely art, loved the cheery and comedic feeling of the game. Would love to see more mini games, perhaps one that deals with more of the cooking part, something like blowing out a gas flame of a burner or ingredients jumping out of the pot, idk lol, just spitballin. Cool experience overall

Appreciate you playing! Not great at programming so spent most of the time on the mechanics hehe, but working on updating it now, fixing bugs, and adding in new levels, hopefully coming over the next few weeks!

Really Enjoyed it, might be nice to include an ability to zoom out a bit either as a setting or as an upgrade as it can get difficult to spawn things in during the later stages when theres a bunch of enemies and your only option is to go really far away. 

Argh, sorry about that, wish I could upload a bug fixed version, definetly was a bit in over my head with this one haha. Thanks for giving it a try!

Yeah looking back I would have added some kind of indication for when the wizard was going to shoot in the second phase, but glad you liked it!

fun seeing a Pico-8 game, thought the art was cool, maybe if you continue add new abilities to different hostages

AMAZING GAME. Fantastic level design as well, reminded a lot of celeste, so well polished, the art was fasntastic, and so was animation, could be made into a full thing with a few more twists. Music would have made this perfect, but overwell down, loved the twist of dead bodies, implemented really well! Overall, Polished to perfection!!

I thought this was a neat puzzle game, art was cool and liked the background too. Felt there was a bit of a level spike but I enjoyed the overall concept. Nice!

This game is extremely clever and smart, I really liked the tutorial although it felt a little long and I noticed there may have been some bugs, but the overall idea is very unique and not something I encoutner much, also love the art and music, fantastic job overall!

Game was very cool, thought it spiked in difficulty in the later levels but overall I enjoyed everything else, maybe just ease the player in a bit more.  I'm not sure if I really saw the limitation implemented, but cool game overall!

I liked the music and thought the concept was pretty cool, found the difficulty in the first area a bit too much for me and going through the game over screen was really slow, (maybe add skip button?) Although I did really like the feeling the game gave me though. I think a little more adjusting to player difficulty and this could be an even better game. Nice job!

Wow, this game was really cool! I loved the art and how the colors shift and how it went red when you went to 1 health. Also really neat how your lives count as almost bombs. It would be nice if the waves came in a little slower so the learning progression would be a bit easier and if there was some audio indication when you lost life. Other than that, I absolutely loved this game, really well done! Oh yeah and quick edit: start button was really funny too

I thought this was a pretty neat game, almost like an adaptation of simon says. Really liked the dystopian feel of the game too! Gameplay felt a little long and repetative and it would be nice to have a little music/audio too, but over I loved the lore and the gameplay was cool

Understandable. I agree, I think a little alert or some indication that the enemy will attack in the second phase would vastly improve the player unexperience, and hopefully reduce some of the difficulty. Thanks for letting me know!

Pretty cool game, love to see the wizard gam jam gang rise up, would be nice to have a restart button in a game like this so I could just restart the level in case you got stuck. Also maybe loop the music. End with all the doors was a lil sus but player movement felt great and the art was really nice. Enjoyed it!

The art in this game was really nice, the gameplay, I found a bit confusing since the fake things and real ones looked exactly the same, so felt heavy on the luck side, might be cool to have like a few indicators that are maybe randomly applied in a random location on the creatures that indicate if they are real or fake, then put a timer to apply pressure, maybe if you don't guess in time you'll lose health. I think this might make gameplay a bit more varied, faster paced and not so heavily reliant on luck, but maybe im just rambling haha. Again the art was BEAUTIFUL! Amazing what were able to art in this amount of time haha

really enjoyed the graphics, this is a pretty cool way of handeling a platformer, like most said, hit boxes can be a bit janky. also would be nice to restart with the left click rather than enter just so I dont have to swtich over to my keyboard but thats just a nitpick. Otherwise was a cool and unique game!

As most people enjoyed the name, cool twist on minesweeper. UI could be a bit better as text can be hard to read but other than that cool gam

As a fellow wizard game jammer it was pretty interesting to see another take on magic. Spikes were a bit large. Would love to see what else you could do with the moving bouncy pad and I enjoyed the slime sprites, nice job

Interesting game, I like the main mechanic and I think theres a lot you could do with it, possibly adding a timer for how long you can stay frozen, or maybe even movement while invincible, lots of possibilities, nice job!
