Hi,

I'm thankful for the feedback that I received from everyone. It centered around making the game more difficult, adding in more gameplay elements and better feedback to the player in terms of effects.

Fortunately I feel that this update should cater to all 3 pointers :

1) Balance - The game should be a lot of tougher with faster spawn times and movement. To balance this, I've added a new mechanic using which the player can destroy cars.

2) Gameplay elements - A new mechanic to destroy cars has been added. Some variation to the spawning logic should also add to the complexity

3) Visual feedback to player - Sounds and effects should add a lot more feel to the game

As always, Any feedback and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for this thread. Recently published my first game which is an endless clicker tasking you to manage traffic at a busy intersection. It's a minimalistic project which I hope will lead to better things in future.

I would be happy to receive feedback about the game or about gamedev in general. Thanks.

Crossroads

Hi,

I had recently published my first game Crossroads about 5 days back.

I have been working on some changes since that time. Happy to share that there is a new high score feature, some balancing changes and UI tweaks that have been made to the game.

The high score feature will be applicable for each level, i.e.; there will be a different high score for all 8 (4 difficulties x 2 modes) levels.

Balancing changes should help make the game more difficult, please let me know in case this needs more tweaks.

I would be happy to hear any suggestions, feedback or general thoughts. You can reach out to me on itch, disillusioneddev@gmail.com or u/DisillusionedDev on Reddit.

Thank you.

Moderately happy that I just published a game for the first time. It's been years since I've thought, started and then given up on different game development endeavors. Hopefully this will be the start of something bigger and better.

I would be overjoyed if you would take some time to play my game, a little background is mentioned below the image.

Crossroads is a minimalistic platformer which will challenge you to manage traffic and steer all cars safely to their destination. It is aimed for a short playtime for each level, allowing you to play it whenever you want to.

Would be keen to add more functionality if the project garners sufficient interest.
