That it is happening with no controller attached is very confusing to me. Either way, a controller is required for the game, it cannot be played just with the keyboard. As I assume you got this game via the Ukranian bundle, could you check out whether the same happens in Toree 2, also in the bundle? Regina & Mac and Toree 2 share some of their controller input code, so this might help pinpointing the issue.

Hello Ryuto, very sorry to hear that you have issues with the game, let me try to pinpoint the issue:
- Have you tried increasing the deadzone for the controller? Maybe the right analog stick has a bit of drift.

- Are you using a Dual Shock 4? With a partner's game a similar issue occured with some Dual Shock 4s. The issue could be solved by having the DS4 as XInput via the XInput Wrapper.

If none of this helps, could you provde me with additional information, which controller you are using?

Hey SpielproYT, thankyou for the video! I have, in fact, already commented on the video six months ago on Youtube, writing:

Fun video! You actually do not have to walk back by foot all the time, you can just return to the checkpoint (level entrance) in the pause menu.

We would like to have Regina & Mac added: https://diplodocus-games.itch.io/regina-and-mac

Nice, thanks for sharing :).

I'm sorry to hear you had trouble with that scene. To get past the light scene in the beginning, you have to follow the light with the right analog stick, until you automatically transfer to the next scene.

After three years of work, we can finally release Regina & Mac to the world. Regina & Mac is a 3D platformer in vein of Banjo-Kazooie or Super Mario 64, in which a cute tyrannosaurus rex named Mac and his sassy macaw friend Regina venture through nine worlds packed with platforming challenges, puzzles and expliration to find 100 golden floppies. Originally developed for Wii U, the game is optimised to run on relatively weak systems at a fluid frame rate. The core design goals of Regina & Mac are:

  • Density: No unneeded space or useless objects are in the world, everything has a purpose and travelling distances are minimised
  • Uniqueness: Each task that leads to a golden floppy is individually designed to challenge the player
  • Adaptability: Regina and Mac learn a new move in every level, so that the gameplay gains new variants and combination as the game progresses, while making sure that the player is given enough time to adapt to each new move
