Thank you very much for playing it, I hope you enjoy the complete version! 😊

🜂 Dark Fantasy · Interactive Fiction · Choices with Consequences 🜂

Set in a continent fractured between light and darkness, the game blends branching narrative, meaningful choices, combat encounters, minigames, and multiple endings—where magic is powerful… but always comes at a cost.

Explore unstable territories, face moral dilemmas, and decide how to wield a magic capable of altering the balance of the world.

The core gameplay experience is complete. Visual and audio elements will be added progressively in the future.

If you’re drawn to interactive stories with mechanical weight and dark fantasy worlds, Dual Realms is for you.

Thanks for the compliment and I understand your comment. The first part of the game is more interactive than the second half. The truth is that I still haven't been able to implement 70% of what I wanted to do with the game. I developed it completely on my own, and the time caught up with me lol. I prioritized the narrative part, but if you liked the story, trust me and try it again a few days after the jam ends when I've expanded the game.

Thank you very much for playing, and thank you for the comments. My intention is to expand on my ideas for this game and its mechanics once the jam is over. Although it's not yet at 100 percent of its potential, I am happy with what I was able to build in just 3 days. Stay tuned for its evolution!

I liked the overall setup of this game, especially I loved the voice actors' performances, very well acted, it really makes you feel hooked on a radio show and the social and human problems the characters go through. As a recommendation, I could say that sometimes the audio entries do not match the first speaker of the written dialogue; this isn't a big problem, but it can slightly break the flow of the experience. Maybe adding some elements to better distribute the dialogue could help. Overall, I liked the experience and the art was very beautiful.

I really enjoyed this experience; the art and visual aspect combined with the well-designed game mechanics take the original narrative power a step further, creating an atmosphere that conveys what you wanted to tell. Great job!

Thank you so much for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! There are sections in the game, like the 'maze' you mentioned, that are designed as mini-games to add some variety to the gameplay. In this particular one, the penalty for mistakes can't go much beyond what it is now due to development time constraints, but once you understand the small mechanic, the real challenge for the player is trying to navigate it with as few errors as possible. That said, this and other parts are on the to-do list for once the Jam is over—to tweak them and establish harsher penalties for mistakes—but for now, I think they work for their purpose given the limited time lol. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

I enjoyed this experience; investigation stories are always intriguing and keep you hooked, and this one was no exception, with nice and immersive writing. As a bit of constructive feedback, I could suggest adding more variables to check if certain events have already happened, since on several occasions you end up in loops that take you back to the same scene. This breaks the flow and shatters the 'invisible box' that a video game or interactive fiction is in this case. Beyond that, I really enjoyed the experience and had a fun time solving this case—just another day in the life of Bailey.

I really liked this experience, the tension built up in a satisfying way toward the end. It's true that the game would benefit from more alternate paths, but with the time constraints it's understandable to focus on the experience and emotions we want to create. Great job.

I enjoyed this experience, I liked the visual and sound support, good job!

Thank you very much for playing Dual Realms, I'm glad you enjoyed it

I really liked the writing, and the themes in general. According to my interpretation, it is an intimate and metaphorical journey through various layers of depression and guilt, in an abstract but pleasant way. I would like to see how this project expands over time, as suggested in the choices to think about something more. Perhaps exploring different endings in a way that makes the player/reader feel they have a bit more influence on the story could be a plus in future versions.

I liked the idea of the story, the intimate and immersive theme, maybe I needed a deeper gameplay, but what it offers gave me a few pleasant minutes.

I really liked the idea, especially that reference to that moment we all go through of receiving 'that email,' all through this casual and fun metaphor; I enjoyed this game.

I love the art of this game

Thank you so much for playing and for your kind words! It makes me really happy to know you enjoyed the story, the characters, and the gameplay.

It’s true that several new characters appear near the end. In the original idea, that part was meant to be developed through more scenes and even a few additional chapters, but due to the time limitations of the jam I had to condense everything. Even so, I tried to keep the essence of what I wanted to tell.

My intention is to continue expanding the project, give more depth to those moments, and bring the early-game mechanics into the final section as well, with more routes and possible endings.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support! I hope more people can enjoy it too.
