  • For the balloon animal, is there a reason you didn't use potency? I could see have multiple balloon animals using loop the loop slowing down play.
  • For Rebound, you don't need to put "and round down" it's already in the game rules that you always round down.
  • Pull out scarves is cool, though I'd add a potency to it to not make it too overpowered.

I made a crazy jester/clown! Great minds think alike!

but will you write an adventure? :P

ohhhhh that makes sense. Maybe there's a clearer way to note that

Wow. I love this. In my home game my players have a little radenwight who they have decided to mentor, so this is very timely. Some of my favorites: revengeance, smoke bomb, set em up, and mind punch (clever!)

Well done!

Thank you! Credit for captivation goes to surfingBen and Jacons and the brewery server!

Yes, time aura was originally just AoE slow and dazed, and then someone told me to "plus" it. I thought it'd be interesting for players to be able to "see into the future", but have to pay the penalty. It's a mad court jester, he wants to tease the players and punish them for it.

Thanks! I just remember being a kid playing FFVI and thinking "my god... I absolutely hate this stupid clown." I had never felt that way before about a video game villain. It's stuck with me!

Hey thanks! I've got Cthrion the onyx dragon as the BBEG in my campaign, so I thought it'd be neat to bring some of my home campaign nonsense into the jam.

Thank you! I appreciate it. I'll take a look at that typo.

This certainly is a more in depth fishing system! Overall I think it's fun and well done. I do think personally that once I got to the fishes section I was feeling overwhelmed with so many mechanics and things to keep track of. That may be because there is too much, or because you are restricted to two pages and it's just too dense for me.

I like where your head is at with this.

Will do!

I. Love. Orcs.

Hammer of Blood and the pool mechanic is interesting. That’s a neat mechanic. Fury is Ours taking heroic resources feels bad, if I was a player I would just be so frustrated. Now, I am saying that knowing full well in the monster I made they also take away heroic resources, but players get back double next round.

Godsblood is cool.

I’m not sure I understand "A dazed or restrained opponent is subject to the

“I’ll have a snack.”maneuver.” Does this mean Fenn will immediately use the maneuver? Or does it mean the maneuver can only be used on restrained dazed creatures?

I’m definitely interested in this adventure. Very cool!

Fair enough!

You could just increase the level to get to those DPS numbers. I might use this and just do that lol.

Very clever way to use the theme as inspiration.

The complication is FUN! I think the drawback is a bit punishing, the player is REALLY playing on hardcore mode.

Absolutely using the plan a surprise party. That’s my favorite part of this.

Overall, this was very creative, well done!

Whoa. This is SPOOKY. This just begging for an adventure where you assault the House of Wax. Snuffed out is fun. I think it’s fun that the candles can do fire damage to each other to splash enemies, that’s fun design.

You did forget to replace [Product Name] in the footer :P

This is great! It’s lightweight, but evocative and useful. I can see myself adopting this.

My favorites are death of an acquaintance, and new community. Those are ripe for adventure ideas!

Only feedback, “How can a player advance an ongoing Life Event?” I would add a chart here with the rolls and the outcomes. Just faster to reference.

Really cool, well done!

haha understood!

So cool! You made a time dragon, and I made a crazy herald of a time dragon! We had some similar ideas between our submissions, especially your “The End” and my “Your new home, the onyx realm”, A DPS check! I love it.

I think my favorite feature is as sand through an hourglass, the flavor is fun, and the mechanic is interesting.

My only feedback, both BREATH OF FORGOTTEN CENTURIES  and HURL THROUGH INFINITY have 5e saving throws, and target multiple players. In my opinion, that will slow down an already lengthy combat with lots of abilities to keep track of. I would recommend doing the single power roll with potencies to keep turns from dragging. Just my opinion.

Unsurprisingly, this is great! Really captures the chaos of overcooked. I actually have my players at a wedding in my current campaign, so I'll be running this.

One question: do kitchen gremlins only appear on tier 1s, or is there a set number of them from the start of the encounter and tier 1s just add more?

Great work Kormael! This is really fun, and in a way... heart warming? You definitely hit on the feeling of community that draw steel has.

My favorites: many helping hands and last grasp. They break game rules but not is a bad way, an interesting way.

Wow Sam. This is fantastic. My only feedback is ray of frost and fireball I think are overtuned on damage. Aside form that, this is hilarious, yet well designed. Very creative.

I think my feedback came off harsher than I meant it, these are cool, interesting and new ideas! Well done.

Overall, interesting ideas and use of mechanics. To me, some of the drawbacks are too punishing or force styles of play on the player.

House of Ram – messing with heroic resource generation is generally frowned upon, I think you’ve balanced it with the drawback. My concern is it forces a play style, every combat the rest of the players will let the house of the ram player go first simply because they don’t want the director to have more malice. That can turn unfunny pretty quickly.

House of the bull, the tier one is a bit too punishing in my opinion.

House of the twins is fun. Same with lions.

Virgins drawback I think would be better as just 1 square, 2 feels extra punishing.

House of the sea goat is interesting but does seem to force a playstyle… but maybe the player doesn’t like negotiations!

This is a fun encounter and montage test. It has a very midsummer's night's dream.

There is Choreography, I love this. It's fun and not broken. Though I could see a table that does lots of planning being slightly annoyed.

"If a dancer would end forced movement, they may move up to square at any point when resolving this ability." Is the "they" the target of the attack or the dancer?

I feel like find a partner would be simpler if you had just the potency and the dancers moving adjacent if there isn't one next to a player.

In Step up! Who is Bonfire?

For ease of reading I suggest bolding "Burning Dancer".

Thank you for the intro at the top, it gives good context and explanation for doc.

Light in the Dark is flavorful, but seems very  punishing.

Tend the Flame, flavorful and mechanically interesting.

I’m not sure I understand how push and pull works.

Bonfire Heart is flavorful and simple to implement and understand.

Midsummer’s Bargain, I like it! I like the players having a choice with a potential drawback.

Wicker tribute would be broken for Furies who take to the uttermost end.  My main character is one and I’d take this in a heartbeat.

Feast and Famine, I suggest changing the drawback to happen on a die roll instead of every time. I can’t see why. I would ever take this in its current form.

One foot in the grave, COOL! I like it.

Overall, interesting idea, and you really nailed the flavor. From the titles, the flavor text and what the abilities do.

Grasp the echoes is very interesting, I’m not sure about the power level, but it’s an intriguing ability.

Possibility storm is flavorful and nifty.

Back with a Vengeance – that’s so cool!

Paradox Rush seems wild, I’m not sure it’s balanced, and will slow down play, but it’s an interesting idea.

I recommend adding a line under against all tyrants title, could even just be "Titles for defeating the iconic Draw Steel Enemies!” to better orient the reader to the document.

Invincible’s End is perfect. I especially love A New Empire. I can picture my players using this to start a whole new campaign!

Heir Apparent is neat, I love the idea the director can make little side quests about the household duties.

Stolen Eye is also so cool. I love the idea of the players carrying around a jar with an eye ball, or a player replacing their own eye!

Feedback:

Dizzying pageantry is interesting, though I did have to read it quite a few times before I understood when to make the wager. It’s probably simpler to just have a player make a wager and remove the power roll?

Art is very fun! I love it. I didn’t realize at first the glob stopper was a monster, I think the font needs to be bigger and maybe the blue line extended? Reading through the rest, it is very difficult to tell which abilities are for which monsters.

I think the formatting of your headers needs an overhaul, with consistent font sizes, and making the boxes tighter to the text when the text is smaller. I found it hard to read. I like the use of color and boxes, just needs some more cleaning up.

Recoup is probably my favorite ability, I love the use of the candied ground and how the hurricane can use them!

I don't have much feedback at all. This is a very flavorful, fun and balanced ancestry. My favorites are butterfly effect, the mechanic reinforces the fantasy. As well as I will have learnt about that, for the same reason.  Well done!

Feedback:

Love the art. The theme is really fun. Reminds me of a D&D kids adventure about an ogre who crashes a birthday party. It's very inspiring, and makes me think of fun adventure ideas.

For the rattle weapon, I think there’s some text missing about the M<3 slowed. Does this mean every attack made with the rattle means the opponent is affected by the potency?

Very flavorful, really fun!

I like the idea of the stat block, but I think you could make it more of a specific encounter setup, that really communicates to the players that it’s not about hitting the baby. I really like this idea, I think it needs more fleshing out, but could make a really fun encounter that doesn’t specify combat. Maybe a custom montage test, where the baby uses moves between player turns?

Feedback:

I understand the two page limit is tough, but a little intro at the top about the kits would have been helpful to tie the kits together, or to the jam.

Ascetic – very cool flavor, interesting mechanic. I think the effect part about if you are bleeding could be worded a little clearer. I was surprised there was no speed bonus to the kit.

Intercessor – very flavorful, very interesting mechanic. Is it required that your allies participate if the they are in the area? I like the once you use text, very neat.

Valkryrie - If the title is a prerequisite, I'd put it before the kit, that might just be personal preference but the kit is useless to me if I don't know what I need to do to get it. Flavor for the effect is really cool.

Witchblade - very cool! For curse of bloodcunning, how long do you not take damage from bleeding? Is it only for the use of the signature ability, or until the end of combat? For shadow of corruption, I'd expect a potency here, this is very powerful.

Wilder – neat use of familiars! Very flavorful.

Overall, creative and flavorful, with some language tweaks needed, and maybe some power level adjustments. As a director I could see some liking and some dreading making intercessor missions. Personally, I think it's neat.
