This game is very interesting. The story s phenomenal, but the game play and the environment is waaay too closed. I am the type of person who loves semi open world. Not too open and not too closed. Oh well. It is a very interesting game though. The idea is wonderful. Maybe the closed path is the point of the idea.

This is the first windows game I got working on my linux computer. I enjoyed it. I got my bro to play it and now he says he is going to have nightmares. Nice. Good job!

I love this!

I watched other people play it because I have a linux, but I love your 3d style.

Why not?

Awww. Ok. Its fine. You are doing a good job anyway. The final product looks amazing too.

I tried the demo and its really good so far. Too bad the f and i doesn't really work so I couldn't get in the mansion. Oh well. I love ethe idea though. Maybe I will try the next demo.

Thank you and you too.

7. Any advice to new participants?
Even though your game sucks pat yourself on the back because you did it.  I finally gained confidence. YAY!

8. What can the admins do to improve your jam experience?
I have no clue. I think you are doing fine.

9. What are some of the past works you've made for the jam? Show off your favorites!

I made Blockage in my first jam. It is a 2d top down weird game. Nothing really happens

10. Bonus: Got any question suggestions? Let us know for next year!
I just wanna learn and make a new game again. My last jam experience had me stressed because of dead line, but at least I had fun. I am gonna use Godot this time just to make things easier.

Yay!

I really want to join this jam, but I always had this idea of a weird fantasy world where everyone is born intersex, but look like men. based heavily on omegaverse type thing. Does this count? If no that is fine.

Python is my go to when I am not using lua.

I heard of the jam coming up, but I am not participating. The deadline is what stressed me out the most so I won’t be doing that again. At least not any time soon.

I like Godot too even though I hit a bug all the time with it. Especially with collision and with 3D. I might be using physics wrong. Oh well.

Thank you so much. I am trying out a new engine next time. Called Ursina Engine. It is pure python I think. Another game framework. I hope I succeed in this next game. When I say succeed I mean actually make and finish it.

Thank you. I tried my best.

you're welcome. It's fine. it was fun to play.

Pretty good. It's fun.

It so cute. I love it. Great game. I coudn't jump very well, but that was probably on purpose because of the ice.

Thank you. I know. I am just very slow. I even got a head start before the jam and that is why I didn’t follow the theme. I have LD(Learning Disabilities) took me 14 years to get to this. I am sorry. Learning code is the hardest thing I have ever done.

Hopefully it works now. I put the wrong code word in. I am very sorry.

I updated the file, hopefully it works now.

I am very sorry about that. I am going to try and fix it.

(1 edit)

I am very sorry about that. I am going to try and fix it.

ok. thank you. I am very new to game developing seriously so I was trying to find the easiest salution, but I am getting the hang of the hardest way possible. I will someday try this because it looks super fancy.

I am excited too. Since I have Learning Disabilities I am giving myself a head start because I am very slow.  Been wanting to do this since I was 12 years old. 16 years, man! Right now I am trying to figure out collision detection and map editing. I decided on love2d game engine even though I said solarus. So Excited! AAAAAH!

I am trying to find an easy way to get a map editor with some collision to put in lov2d. If not that is fine. I'll just learn the hard way.  Thank you.

Oh cool, I am a woman also. Nice.

Me too. Wouldn't mind seeing everyone else s games. I am also trying not to tell my family to keep me motivated because I always say I am gonna do it, but never actually do it. So I hope this is it.

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

Hello, my name is cyberlitabot and Yes I do.

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

No I did not. To take  game dev seriously. I have only followed tutorials before and that is it.

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask. That game inspired me to a whole new level when I was a kid. Though I can't make games like that, yet, It is still my most cherished memory.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

I have tried many. though none of them never really clicked with me.  Godot, Armory, unity, Polycode, Love2d, Raylib. Lua is my favorite code, but their are not that much lua engines. I have found Solarus. It is a lua based game engine like RPG Maker that works with linux and I hope this will click. Even if it doesn't I am willing to learn.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

I like to draw! I also want to make games that will function and publish it and send my interactive imagination to the world. I love to share my mind. As weird as it is.

6. What are your goals for this game jam?

Well my first goal is to make a good looking movable box. The rest is up to the theme you send me.
