Yes! We would love to add those as they are similar to "Super Cars", which was our inspiration for this game. I've add it on  our to-do list and it will be definitely included in the next version of the demo. This is very helpful feedback, Vibe, we really appreciate it.

If you find anything else, or think something should be added, please reach out.

Hi Vibe. Yes, absolutely. If you go to the settings, you can choose gamepad. However, if it wasn't obvious that means we need to re-examine the UI. In the mobile and Steam release our plan was to default to gamepad if it detects one, but I'm hesitant to do it for the web version.

As a side note, if you choose gamepad, the arrow keys will work as well. For future versions we will have a dedicated page for key and gamepad bindings.

Thank you for you feedback!

Hi itch team.

I sent an email on May 18th about this issue, and I didn't get a response yet. So I thought I'd try my luck here.

I recently updated the "Travelling Spacer Web Demo" to say that it includes Joypad support (just that sentence on the existing cover art). I thought it would be a fun idea to advertise this to gamers, as it's quite fun to play the game this way. Unfortunately it immediately got de-listed, and I think our company page did as well, as I can't find it if I type it into the search bar. I'm guessing this is a false positive from your spam bot?

I would be very grateful for your support.

Hi everyone!

We're super excited to announce that a demo of our game "Travelling Spacer" has just been released.  The game is a throwback to the late 80s / early 90s Amiga 500 & Atari ST gaming era (with marketing language of that era included!) but with modern QoL improvements. We would be very grateful for feedback and ideas for future releases as we work towards the main game. You can go play it at https://codeurchins.itch.io/travelling-spacer

We aim to release the full game on both Desktops, Web, and Mobile.

The demo is primarily a 2D action-packed racing space game (think a modern interpretation of Super Cars and Micro Machines) that includes trading, route optimisation, and pet mechanics.

We've included a virtual joypad for mobiles as well (you can change them in the settings on the main page).

Looking forward to seeing all Spacers there!

Take care,

The Code Urchins dev team.
