THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. PLEASE COME BACK LATER.

Amazing. Thank you!

The instructions mention to create a public repo. But if we use assets that we purchased I feel like we shouldn't use a public repo.  Unless there is another way around that with a public repo?

You totally should show it off! it's a nice prototype for your portfolio when job hunting!

Unfortunately I can not vote, but it's a nice little game and nice art / animation! RIP ears!

would be nice to get a power up to destroy areas of the rock(?) as you fall and to have background music and to use arrows instead of A and D keys.

Unfortunately I can't vote, but its a neat little quick game! web version worked fine for me!

I wish there were more levels, but since it was such a short game jam this is amazing work! Nicely done.

And I really appreciate providing the credits / sources! Thank you!

Although the UI is nice, for a small game jam, you could spend that time on adding more levels instead! IMO

This game is still being worked on.

Great! Thank you!

Basically the title : How long is the voting period?

Thank you!

Thank you again!

Thank you!!

Probably a dumb question but what about symbols/ special characters?  I would assume they are allowed
?! $#@ ^* ü ä ♪ ♥ > <

Thank you!!!

I know it says no words.

Initial I thought that meant just words on the screen. Does verbal instructions count? So audio of instructions? I would now assume no, but want to make sure.

What about grunts or sound effects made by someone like "haha" , "hehe" ,  "ahhh" and/or  "ooof"?

Hello !

I'm debating on which game jam to join.
I was hoping that I can make one game for both game jams and try to meet both criteria (because why not).

They are roughly the same time duration!

Is this allowed?

Given the name: Holistic 3D, I would assume  so, but wanted to make sure!

Fun and simple. Sweet graphics. Would really be awesome with some background audio and maybe pushing and walking across grass sfx.

A nice simple game. Nice audio. Nice animations.

Controls:

WASD - Move
Space - Attack

E - Bomb (when found)

Some main thoughts:

-  I wish there was a death/hurt sound each time I kill/hit the enemy. Maybe have them different so its not just the same sounds (like have it randomly select an audio file from a list). That would be sick.

- Maybe have the secret pathway more obvious to explode with the bomb. I was kinda just dropping bombs everywhere.

- There needs to be a way to heal myself. Maybe once in awhile, the enemy would drop some health? I was stressed with one HP left for half the game.

Keep up the good work!

There is some potential here.

There are missing controls.
WASD/Arrow keys - to move

Ctrl- To attack/interact/select in inventory
Space - To attack

Enter- To open Inventory

Also cant die and there is no way to heal up even if you kill enemies or destroy trees/rocks. And just a weird bug(?) where the hearts are on top of some text in the inventory.

Has some potential so keep up the work!

Thanks for playing! I really wish I had time to implement a much needed tutorial.

I was actually thinking of having the player also 'cook' the food to the right of the screen (hence the gap on right wall), but I didn't have time to implement that. That would definitely make it more challenging!

Thanks for playing! I was actually was debating on using images with text in the chat box but the way I implemented it was not possible. It took a few days to just get where it is right now! And it's not perfect but it serves it's purpose, or so I hope it does!

Thanks for playing! Yeah I wish I had a tutorial but I didn't have time :( I tried putting into in the page but I think it was too much info to absorb. Next time!

It is ready!

Better late than never.

This game is not yet ready and will be submitted late.

Stay tuned!

I had to copy the link. Open a new tab and paste it and pressed enter. It showed a download browser. Opening link in new tab or clicking link directly does not work for some reason.

Thanks for playing! It is a bit challenging, even for us! Next versions will be easier :)

Thanks for playing! The restart should be fixed now!

haha thanks for playing! You got to be quick with your fingers! ;)

Thanks for playing! Yeah there are a few glitches with the game. The restart should be fixed now!

Thank you!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!!

no worries!! I hope your throat feels better!

That's allowed?? If so that would make game creation alot easier! With the Unity tool do we still have to set the window size or does this tool also handle that?

I wish I could understand Portuguese, because I think I would understand the story more, but I do like the deep voice! The obstacles are somewhat easy to avoid. I think the most annoying part is if you fall you start from the beginning! I can imagine that would be frustrating for some players, at least it was for me. You may want to have obvious checkpoints, maybe a purple pulsating orb cloud? Grabbing the health is a bit tricky with getting the right angle, so it might be easy to just have it hovering and spinning and have the player run into that instead.

I wish there was more sound effects: louder non-annoying walking sounds, jumping sounds, slamming sound when I hit the ground from a long distance, maybe a heavy droning sound with a 3D Doppler effect when the red cubes get closer and farther from you (and maybe having red light emitting like that too), hit sound effects, sound getting more hearts, sound that I was being lifted to the next area and I think most importantly a very ominous unsettling background music. I think sound is a mayor part in this game and I think it has a lot of potential!

I think it would increase pressure and the fun (and anxiety) if you had a long timer bar at the top of the screen with a heavy thumbing sound when you get close to running out of time. This gives the sense to the player to not takes thinking so cautiously, and to aim into the unknown frantically trying to find the exit. Maybe have multiple paths that loop(?)  to increase that pressure.

A part from not knowing the story, I liked it. Lots of potential. Keep doing awesome work! I can imagine making all those platforms and play testing through it all was not easy!

Awesome! Can't wait to play :)

Forgot to mention that I wish there was a health bar to know how much health the enemy has!
