Delightful. I was expecting a fun experience, but I wasn't expecting it to be as polished as it is! It's amazing how much DNA it shares with A Short Hike, such as the really excellent exploration/world desifn. Having played quite a few indie games inspired by Paper Mario, I think this holds its own in a lot of ways, especially in terms of presentation. Combat was fun too, and I ended up really enjoying "collecting" baddies!

Whether Adam comes back to it or not, I really loved my time with this little RPG, and I hope at the very least the feedback has been positive enough that he'll consider revisiting or repurposing some of its best ideas (such as the fun maze mechanic for running away from bosss encounters!).

This was delightful! Between the two scenarios I really like the simple premise, animation, and execution! Proves that deduction games can take any form -- excited for more!

Delightful, I'm excited to play it! Will there be a pico cart available for the DX version, or is this a Steam-only release?

wonderful, excited for it! My request would be to not have the old man talk so long after every failed run. Maybe just let me drop back into the hub and I can talk to him optionally instead?

Hi! Which file format works on Analogue Pocket?

This was a really fascinating read, thank you for detailing your process! I am a sound designer by trade - I edit voices every single day but I don't know where I would even start when it comes to the synthesizing the human voice. I'm no programmer but I think you ultimately ended up in a really cool spot. It's amazing how much range you get even without consonants. Well done!

sweet! Can we now see our highest score?

Love seeing your process, shows just how much progress you've made and and how much polish you've been heaping on since!

I love the overall concept, especially the "reroll" mechanic. I just wish movement wasn't also randomized. I think paths you choose (i.e. shop & difficult enemy vs. two lesser enemies) would be better, as I just did a whole run with no option to upgrade. Also, two healing enemies is really really REALLY hard to get rid of.

By far the best thing about this was how you take away control halfway through, instead of right at the beginning. Love messing with expectations. Well done!

Thrown off at first by its simplicity, but it was really charming and fun! well done.

Simple, addicting, brutally difficult. Well done.

Conceptually this is very strong! I would love to see a full game revolving around this concept.

THIS is the kind of stuff I thought of but could never hope to make! Well done, this was super fun to play around with and fit the theme very well. :)

Sadly my chainsaw wouldn't cut anything. Doesn't seem like other people are having the same problem though, so I won't rate it. Sorry, it looked really promising though!
