I really love the artstyle, although, and this might just be a firefox issue, but the shaders totally bugged out and the whole game was pretty flicker-y

regardless, a good unique idea! :)

EDIT: Tried it on chrome, the game looks really good!

Good submission! I like the music picking up and getting faster, you really feel that urgency.

this is awesome One thing i’d suggest is make the pits easier to see, I die to those most often because I don’t realize that it’s a pit until it’s late.

Really good idea! I think that the flame trail and invincibility shield should be mutually exclusive together maybe, cause it’s kind of OP, and makes it so that you never really have to jump.

It’s a neat idea! I think you should fall slower, as that would make the game easier to look at and also make the spikes more interesting to dodge? Also I think the spike hitboxes should be bigger, as you can sit in between spikes and not get hit by them.

This was a lot of fun! I think it would be cool if you could somehow go faster, since right now it seems like you can go as fast as possible but eventually lose at the same time no matter what.

I really love the art style omgg

This is super fun. It’s like Wario-Ware + Fnaf gameplay i’d say? super super unique

I ended up getting a time of 1:48, though that might’ve been due to me getting lucky at the start with a bunch of white boxes and not really having to do anything :)

It’s a really really unique idea! I noticed that since there’s no penalty (as far as im aware) to just holding down ‘S’ constantly, i could just hold ‘S’ the entire time while playing the game. Maybe there if you hold ‘S’ while going uphill, it slows you down or something?

Thank you so much for playing! That’s really weird you got stuck in the shop, I have zero idea how that happened. I never tested the game with controller much so I didn’t realize it was unresponsive, I’ll have to fix that in an update post-jam :/

EDIT: Ah, I know why you get stuck, it’s cause the exit button is also the “equip” button so you can only leave when you’ve selected a character you already own.

Oo, sorry about the menu I didn’t think about that, Z + Arrow Keys and Controller also work to navigate so I was hoping that wouldn’t happen. Thank you for playing!! :)

Very fun and unique! I love the balatro-style gameplay to it, and the presentation is very very nice!

Awesome game! Very well designed! My only feedback would be to make the player’s hitbox a little smaller so that you can go through 1-Tile gaps. I had a lot of fun!

I agree, the double jump isn’t the best… probably cause I didn’t actually mean for it to be there, it’s a side effect of my buggy coyote time implementation <:D

The style of this game is incredible! I love the art direction and music! The atmosphere is on point.

I agree the game is very hard, but it’s still fun. I think it could definitely benefit from controllable jumps, jump buffering, coyote time, all that stuff. Regardless, it’s a very good entry! Great work :D

Simple concept that’s well executed! The avalanche comes on pretty quickly, but it still works, I never felt like it was too fast, while still constantly feeling like I’m in danger of it.

I like the art a lot, and the concept is pretty cool! I couldn’t really figure out what to do at first, I think it much needs a tutorial, even if the tutorial is just on the itch.io page.

I think the gameplay could use some more variety, especially since I never found a reason to use the stasis mechanic. Maybe some faster enemies or enemies you can only kill by using stasis.

Looks great! The music is really good and the art is too! Perhaps it wasn’t working for me, but the music options menu didn’t actually change the volume of the music or sfx at all. It could be a web issue?

Wowww the polish on here is insane. I think I’d like a way to be able to see how much health I have left. Really hard too, but really good!

This was so much fun! I really wish there was more!! I spent way too long trying to see how many I could duplicate, I think there was a cap on the number, but still awesome seeing all those little guys running around!

Wow! The pixel art is wonderful and the level design is really good. I wish there were some enemies to fight too, I don’t know if that would make it harder to traverse though. Amazing entry :D

Really great idea!!! Really liked the strategy involved, and the variety of towers. Oh and of course, a frog as a main character is always great to see :)

It seemed like it was going to be really complicated at first, but it was crazy how fast you could get the hang of it! I love how much strategy is involved too. It kind of reminded me of Wii Tanks, I think in the art style and music. Awesome submission!

I’m probably not going to open source the project, but the original game that was made in Unity was open source, and a lot of the logic for growing and harvesting crops is similar. The movement logic is also almost the exact same, the only differences with the remake is that walking around has better animations and also faster.
