Agree, I'm writing my feedback listening to the main menu bgm in the background, so good.

Man! What a cool game. Kind of spore and FTL. I really like this kind of games and you nailed the alien vibes. Very unique and cool game design. I see a potential product here, you guys should keep this game alive and flesh it out into a full game, for real.
Some feedback here:
- the UI needs some love, you can add some highlights and grids on the part-management mode.
- the "character/ship/organism" could rotate to where you are moving.
- MORE PARTS, MORE MORE! The potential here is huge and I love it, I was waiting for more parts to be unlocked, idk, some thrusters, eyes could give range bonus, some different weapons, maneuver blocks, idk.
I still don't know what the mouth-pieces do, lol.
The music is very good and hit the vibes, and the art too, everything very organic and fitting. Would love to see the flesh blocks animated when they get activated tho.
Good job guys!
Hey Thank you so much for your feedback and rating! I'm one of the artists so yeah, high-five! And I'm glad it ran well on your old laptop, we try to aways take some time to optimize the game. Its very easy to have your screen full of body parts after a while. Btw, hope you have tried the skull-skull-skull combination, lol.
Its really challenging to make a game look retro. You managed to make it look, feel and sound retro. If this was on Atari, back in time, you would be very rich by now. God damnit. Real cool game, simple mechanics, well executed. If anything I feel it lacks a bit on the Jam's theme, unless I missed something. But anyways, good job.
Lots of juice with this one!! I've played it like 3 or 4 times, haha, since the UI placeholders version. Very good game. As mentioned before, at the start the controls seems unresponsible, but then you get used to it, and after some handling upgrades it feels even better. Loved the meow meow bgm! hahaha, nice job.
Really good game. It could be improved with better explanation on what to do next, or where should I go. Cause it was hard to find the mailer dog. I guess it's because the path to the neighbor house is kinda narrow/hidden.
I wish there was more content to play with. It feels like a good foundation for a kirby-like sandbox game. Good job.
