Hi Violetcloud!

Sorry you're going through that.

Are you able to export the game to a base drive directory?  Such as "C:\DateTimeGame" ?

Thank you!  Let me know if there's any updates on your end.  It would be curious as to why the error persists for you.

Forgive my aloofness on this, webgl is basically an export on my end, I don't really know how Unity converts my scripting to it.

I can cart around to see if others are more familiar with this type of error you're having.  I don't know the capabilities of BSD-based systems with webgl, so I wouldn't know if switching browsers away from a chromium browser would work either. :\

There shouldn't be anything different in that scene to how I am loading other scenes in the game.  Even the post-processing effects in the game have basically been on since the game starts.

Is this the FIRST stairs sequence or the SECOND?  The SECOND does introduce an animated overlay that may be taxing to older PCs.

I have tested this game on a firefox browser using an arch linux machine, but haven't been able to try it on other OSes outside of Mac, Windows, and Android.

Sorry to hear you have problems with the game!

Can you describe what platform you're running the game on?  Does the game just close, or does something else happen when you begin the section?

Thank you so much, it means a lot!  I'll be updating it in the coming month.

Ah yeah!  I remember your comment on the ABKZ page :D!

Thanks for playing my games, I hope you had a great time!

Thanks for the words and encourage, I appreciate it!  :)

Alternative ending to the first chapter, along with an alternate path will be in an updated version of the demo.

Thanks!

If you can, send me a detailed description of your problem, including what you see (Freezing?  Black Screen.  Etc.), and where you're clicking through my "Contact CatTrigger" form here:

https://www.cattrigger.com/links

Sorry that's happening to you.  Can you describe what operating system you are using, and your computer specs to me?

There will most likely be an Android version on the next update of the Demo.

Yes, absolutely.  There will be a Mac version on the next update of the Demo.

Glad to hear, thank you for streaming your play :D

Thank you very much :D

Thanks for letting me know!

May be a directory problem, as it's referring to another *.exe when you click on the button.
Where do you have the Date Time folder located?

Oof!  That sucks!

I'm not sure how the desktop app particularly works with the Demo.  Are you using a Windows PC or are you trying to get this to work on Linux / Mac?

You can always download the game manually on the site through your browser: https://cattrigger.itch.io/date-time

Sorry you’re going through that!

Could you describe where you are getting this error?   Where does it pop up?  What action triggers it?

Sorry about that, would you be able to describe what happens when you hit the "Play Chapter" in the Melissa section?

Does the game close and nothing else happens, or is there some other action or error?

Sorry you're having that problem.

Would you be able to let me know what type of Mac do you have, and what version of MacOS you're using?

Do you have Auto rotate ON in your device settings?

What phone device are you using?  What version of android?

The game needs to run in landscape mode, not portrait.

Do you have anything on your device locking the mode to portrait?

Yes, sorry about that.  It seems to be an ongoing bug with the plugin.  I am working with plugin developers on finding a solution to that.

Thank you!

Thank you very much!

Speaking of which... stay tuned on the @CatTrigger twitter or this page's devlog for the "other two people" :)

Art was done using a combination of Photoshop, Adobe Animate and After Effects.

Thank you for the feedback!

In terms of the "evil" route, it's more intended to be a morbid curiosity, as opposed to an equivalent to the "true" route, I also felt that continued exploration of the "aftermath" of the evil route would've been too much of a tone change to the story.

However, I can understand your viewpoint, and will definitely consider your feedback in future projects!  Thank you for your openness! :)

Also, yes... thank you for bringing this to attention.  I have received comments from friends and other players about the loading bug prevalent in WebGL.  There is apparently an extension / engine incompatibility that will take some time for me to fix.

I will do my best to release a stable version of the loading / saving function for the web... but it is recommended that if the error happens to you... that you use the chapter selection in the main menu to get back to the most recent part.

I apologize for the inconvenience... I am still pretty new to the development side of Visual Novels, but will do my best to get it fixed eventually.

Thank you!  I deeply appreciate it!

Thanks for playing, and glad you liked it!  I was thoroughly entertained by your let's play! :D

The game was largely a weekend project, so I didn't really have much time to expand on the concept, but if people do want to see more of the concept, I do have ideas of expanding on it sometime in the future.

Thank you for playing!  I appreciate the playthrough and feedback!

Thank you for playing!  I appreciate it!

Thank you very much!  I appreciate it!

Sorry you had that issue!  I wasn't able to reproduce this just yet, but I'll keep looking into it to see if it is a continued issue with the save system.  Thank you for letting me know!

Also, thank you very much, I actually did start out having the game's style be a bit more "anime-like", but pivoted in this other direction around midpoint of pre-production, I'm happy you like it :D

Thank you!  I'm very happy you enjoyed it!

Yes, Madoka was definitely a partial inspiration of the character and show!  There was also other anime that had similar "kill-them-all" endings that I based the character off of, many which ended with the Creator being frustrated by either the studio or the way their work was being portrayed.

I actually haven't heard of Minky Momo, but I'll definitely give it a look now! :)

Would you have any more details about this error?  What platform did this happen on?

What place in the story was your save?  Did you load the game from a different part of the story?  Or did you load the game from the main title screen?   Any details can help me reproduce it and find a solution!

Thank you again!

Awww, thank you so much!
