Thank you so much polyspice! Amazing feedback, really! Tbh Annotopia rn is like a prototype with a showcase of the core mechanics and little polish only. I'm gonna work on the game though I've been busy this week. I will keep updating it almost everyday from next week!
I already played Rabbit Racing once before, I played it again now to refresh my memory. The game feels great, very hard but feels great. Just visually needs work, like you stated. Feels good on controller and keyboard!
You're gonna be in my game's credits when I make a credits section lol!

Glad to help I'm a first time game dev myself. Imma download your game and try it out! You can try my game too, Annotopia :)) good luck👍

The pet detectives react based on your inputs and give their sassy dialogues when you click on evidence that is actually useful or really obvious!

Really cool page, I think it is actually great at communicating what it is!

Hey Coder! Thank you, I really liked Dualspace, it's a fun concept. However I wish you would have a tutorial or let us make our own levels! I had to figure out some stuff after finicking with the game for a bit! I like the sound design too. Cool game!

Yea about AI, I really love that your game is human made 100%, my game uses ML(Technically not AI, just glorified linear algebra and without unethical copyright training present in AI, though I did use AI for help with coding) as a game mechanic so yea it might not be too well received haha.

I'm a first time game dev, developing Annotopia: Annotopia for a few weeks with updates nearly everyday. The game follows a unique concept where you adopt Pet Detectives and teach them your logic and watch them fight other Pets for better logical solutions. I have tons and tons of ideas for game modes and directions I want to take it to, but I need to get enough feedback and validate the game's core loop(It is not even 10% done) and figure out what gamers like before proceeding to develop massive changes. Please be honest and tell me what you liked/disliked, if it is a fun concept, what you would like implemented etc, thank you :) !
I will give helpful feedback for your games too :)!!

PS There are some sectors on the map that are broken currently will correct them soon, you can try the first sector to check the working of the game!

Yessir it is very uncooked still and confusing! I will improve the tutorial massively, improve instructions and make text better.

Yes the goal is to figure out evidence and optimize your Pet Detective using cards so that their solutions to the cases are better than your opponents. So real time training and building of your Pet Detective. Yea this is not mentioned correctly anywhere lol, thank you👍 I am improving it daily🫡

Be as brutal as possible lol its still early in development and I love critical feedback!

Really cool game, liked it a lot. I'm a sucker for the aesthetic! I left a review too.

If you could try out my project too, I'd really appreciate it!:

Still working on other game modes and developing the core game loop, would love any more feedback! Thank you!

This looks terrible tbh but its just a placeholder for the real UI for now!

I have so many neurons in my hippocampus just dedicated to Borzois.

HI welcome to a unique detective game where you train your Pet Detectives and compete against others! The game is in active development and the core loop is still being developed along with several planned features. Your feedback would help massively and steer the game in the right direction!

The game's core loop is being developed, with a barebones "benchmark mode" where players pit their trained pet detectives from their roster against detectives of other players.  A battle for logical supremacy ensues and the winning detective gets evolution points. The images in the benchmark also have been tested against LLMs like GPT, LLAVA, Gemini, and their accuracy is represented as a percentile similar to IQ.

With enough training the Pet Detectives can even surpass these industry standard LLMs on specific domains!

The Benchmark mode will serve as a "Boss Battle" for the dataset, with several players pitting their detectives against each other for progression!

By unseen images I mean, new images that the player has not seen. These images are Testing Images and the Pets will predict the same logic on these images, Pet predictions are shown to the player and compared against rival Pets' predictions!

Annotopia is a point-and-click detective game with a unique twist! You have Pet Detectives that accompany you around. They learn your logic and apply this learned logic on unseen images and compete against other players' Pet Detectives for logical supremacy!

Correct annotations teach the Pets the correct logic and rebuilding the Pet's mind using "Evidence Cards" will result in accurate Pet predictions!

The game is still in development and I would love any kind of feedback!

Annotopia is a point-and-click detective game with a twist! You have Pet Detectives that accompany you around images that need training and rebuilding. These Pets learn your logic and apply it on unseen cases, fighting against other players' Pets for logical supremacy!

Your annotations feed these Pets and you have to improve their logic by annotating correctly and also by "rebuilding" their mind in real time using Evidence Cards! It is still a work in progress and there will be updates coming everyday!
