We had discussed the theme and some of our ideas didn't seem to track, we had hoped to loop back to the repeating nature of a train track but I think something got lost in the rush at the end.

Thank you for playing the game. Really appreciate it.

Thank you!
We have had internal discussions about automatically reloading and decided it removes fun panic (different than bad panic) and lends itself to the realism of shooting bats from a train. Maybe we'll have it as an option in the retail release.

This is a very well-themed game. Every part of the game fit together like lovely pasta. Farfalle and Oriechette are my favorites, thanks for adding them.

Truly loved the art.

I liked this more than I initially expected. It felt almost like a Zen garden experience. I tried to make a pteradactyl shape, nice to have a canvas to play in.

Really liked the interaction with the slime. It's small things like this that show off the level of polish in this.
Great splash art and great color uses.
Gameplay was solid, and the controls made perfect sense. Great work!

Pew Pew pew!

Thanks for playing our game.

Plans to do a post jam update or take this into a full project?

Thank you! We appreciate you rootin and shooting those flying varmint.

I really liked this one. I agree with everyone else saying this needs more levels. I think you introduced enough mechanics already to get you a few more without repeating too much.

Super fun, learned to love the mines. Wish I could've jumped some areas, but I imagine that has cause a lot of issues. Fulfilled the dopamine rush I needed.

Big Love to a fellow train game! With a fishing "mini" game none the less! Great work, pixel art was very nice.

Widly Creative, good time, very fun and very funny.
I do hope this gets more work post jam. What you've already achieved is impressive.

I thought this was really fun. I struggled figuring out who got the raise, so I just brute-forced it. Everything else was really fun and worked well.

Would love to have seen what this could've been. Hope you take another stab at this post-jam!

Was not expecting the jump scare.  Got me good.

I had a blast playing with a lot of other cars. I am not good at driving games, but I am really good at smashing into other cars. It's the only way I could win. WASD might be more comfortable than arrow keys, but that shouldn't be an issue for most people.

This feels like a hidden gem from the mid 90s. Really enjoyable, hope Tomtig is recognized as the hero he is.

Reckon' you're a quick draw of both wit and gun. Appreciate you stoppin' by our ol water hole and puh-roosin our wares. Your kindness will be reciprocated and your endeavors will be spoken true around the chuck wagon. Apologies regardin' them varmints.

Loved it!

I like you.

A lot of character in those slimes. Really liked the art and gameplay. Awesome work.

Ty ty! This is really encouraging to hear.

Not until you're in the top 10 on the leaderboard!

;P

Thank you for playing!

SFX were also MOTHERaudio. They're an aural wizard.

We really liked the last few screens of the game. I think we all wish we had more time for more art, more levels, and everything else.
Thank you for playing.

Is there an additional theme along with Nights Before Halloween?

Thanks.

Thanks for taking the time play our game and leave a comment.

I think we wanted ricochet sounds but just didn't have enough time once we finally thought about it. We might even have the sounds ready, just not implemented.

Comments like these are great because we see what worked and what didn't. We really appreciate that.

Simple but really well done!
Any chance of a post-jam update? Would like to see this idea fleshed out more.

The browser version does this game a huge disservice. Nice game, I do think it needs more work, but a lot of the foundations are there.
Hope to see more from this team soon.

This game was a blast. Really happy with how you used a single track to keep things familiar and slowly increase the difficulty.
Lovely art, great music, consistent game feel. One of my top picks for this jam.

I had a lot more fun with this than I initially expected. I played this a few times on web and the downloaded it.

Clear inspirations, but I didn't dislike it.

Tank controls aren't standard for games like these, takes a little while to get used to.

Feels so good when you win a level with so little effort.
Love the sounds and the graphics, really feels like a lost NES game.
Great feel overall!

That was a fun quick little game. After the third try, I learned speed is the answer. Loved the boss and the iridescent-y trails from the enemies.  Awesome work!

Keep at it! You can cut your time down to ~0:30 with that exploit!

Thank you!

Thank you so much! We're extremely happy with how this turned out, the music has been on repeat for all of us the whole time.

High praise! Thank you so much for the kind words about the art.

Glad the game made sense after a bit.

Can't wait for the post-jam version!

I wasn't feeling this game for a little bit. Didn't make any sense to me.
FULL-SCREEN makes the game playable.  This is something we didn't test for our jam either.

Pretty fun once you figure the game out in fullscreen. I like the color palette you used. Awesome work!
